Eau Fresh

I bought this 'blind' due to the similarity of some of the notes to Higher Energy by Dior and though it is nothing like HE it is quite an interesting scent... A great citrus mix combined with sweet pineapple, meets warm anise and green galbanum and tarragon, quite a complex first impression. Light and fresh, slightly sweet with an underlying green warmth, subtly spiced. At first I thought this should have been classified as an aromatic fougere, but the green factor warrants it's aromatic green label. As it develops, the spices overpower the citrus (corriander, nutmeg and sage)but remain very green as the galbanum persists. The flowers in the heart soften this but I cannot pick out any of them individually, except for maybe the carnation. The drydown is piney and green, and the moss is heavy and cool. The patchouli adds to the dark earthiness and the vetiver keeps it very clean, despite all the spices and finishes on a very classic note. No, it's nothing like HE, but it is a well-made scent that women seem to like and I enjoy, as it is very outdoorsy smelling and is a good choice for a fresh scent when the weather turns cold... Sillage: great Longevity: excellent Overall: 3.5/5 This scent was not what I expected, at first I thought Brut/Canoe, but we all know how deceiving first impressions can be. This is very aromatic and utterly green and may be too much for some younger guys, but is not an 'old' smelling fragrance. The herbs are quite pungent and the citruses make them more so, and the galbanum's strenght may take the volume too high for some. I find it a very solid scent that agrees with my chemistry and makes me feel as if I just came back from a camping trip or hiking weekend, powerful and fresh...

Si vous êtes fan des flanker kouros (eau d'été et cologne sport) c'est ce qu'il vous faut , une eau de toilette fraîche verte ,fruité et Flora avec de l’animalité je pense que c'est à cause du jasmin en tout cas ce genre de parfum n'existe plus de nos jours même la niche ne font pas ce genre d'odeur classe et en aucun cas démodé, très dure à trouver ce chef d'œuvre pour moi reste en haut du classement des bogart

First 5 minutes are glorious green! It's like a green heaven. Lemon and lavender in front of a punchy refreshing herbal heart and a nice old school background (even a bit dirty). After that, It loses strength and calms down to something as a "casual aromatic green". Safe, common, but there's some sort of plastic note, that bothers me. Considering its drydown, an ok fragrance. Just keep in mind It's an early 90s scent, so It's different from nowadays aquatic "blue" fragrances and clean/light green "out of the shower" colognes.

Very green, citrus and fresh with definite pine. The drydown is minty and herbal - it's great. Longevity is OK and it's a nice fresh man's cologne like the name says. The sillage is particularly nice. In the same family as Green Jeans or Eau Maximum. It's a sweet, pleasant and very green summer scent for men. For me, the score is: 7/10

A nice herbal fresh scent. I don't get any citrus in this. A strong pine note here and a bit grassy smelling. I like this, different than your typical fresh scent. Performance is average, not as strong as other Bogarts but not bad either.

Wow! Wearing this for the first time and it's just a perfect Spring day here in New England for this wonderful green fragrance. Smells like a dreamy Spring day, just like today... green, sunny, fresh pine, and a hint of spring flowers in the air. Don't let the budget name of Jacques Bogart fool you. This stuff is Spring air in a bottle. It's like a lighter and fresher Tsar. And it's quite different than any of my other green fragrances I love to wear this time of year. Performance is not beast mode like many other Bogart colognes. But it's still about average... about 3-4 hours on skin and 6+ hours on my shirt. If you like classic fresh green colognes, this is worth a look. However, I would pay the $70 some ebayers are asking. If you look hard enough you can still find it for around $30 which is a good value.

I wear bogart signature, and you can smell these are related. It smells soapy. The problem for me is, there is a prominent caraway-like note in this (not listed above) that is projecting off my skin. Smells like the body-odor/armpit caraway from the new formulation of Kouros, and also Quorom. I don't know if my skin likes to project that more or what, but its offputting and a no for me unfortunately. I was looking forward to this one. If it doesnt bother you, this is very nice. Smells kind of like a body wash...but with caraway.

Impossible to find this in my country. I located it in Singapore and I was surprised to say the least. I have always associated Bogart with the ever present OMShow,which IMHO still sells strongly despite the stick it gets. Eau Fresh was an interesting experience for me, it was fruity-spicy-warm and fresh-clean at the same time meaning it stays close to you as an office scent and it projects when you are outdoors and it lasts all day. An intelligently constructed scent, not pricey but smells expensive.

I tried a vintage 90s decant of Eau Fresh today. It smells fine, sort of like an old school aquatic green fougere. I could see this as a good casual scent running errands or going to the gym. It dissipates quickly on skin; became a skin scent within 4 hours, the fresh component goes away and it becomes a musky old school scent. The smell is really nice but considering the performance the value isn't great, considering how these fetch $100-200 on eBay. Overall Rating 5/10

What an awesome fragrance, I own several bogart scents and when I saw a review on YouTube about this one it prompted my interest. It is a fresh masculine citrus burst with a pine and musk addition, it is very fresh and very different than the typical blue designer aquatic Macy’s counter fragrance. If you are into classic style scents and want a fresh green one to wear absolutely pick this one up.

Absolutely horrid. Reminds me of an old Russian friend's house. Old plastic furniture, spider webs on old ugly framed pictures, old sheets on the bed, cheap Russian perfumes on the living room furniture shelves. Just bizarre. With a slight funeral home touch.

On me, this is another winner from Bogart. I get lots of green with hints of citric and musk. Longevity isn't quite as long as other Bogarts and projection is lower too. Adding this to my warm weather rotation.

Another fragrance value killed by youtuber hype. Few years ago I got a 3.4oz for $21. After youtuber reviewers hyped it the price spiked to $100 to $150. Not worth it anymore. Ruined by youtube shit-fluencers
