Silver Scent

I was first interested in sampling this fragrance when looking at the powerful longevity and sillage shown on fragrentica. For that price! I thought it was too good to be true. Also the ingredients looked very interesting, Litchi at base? had to check it out. This has definitely gone beyond my expectations. As most reviews here say, it smells like grape soda. I agree. A strong grape soda scent that, after 3 hours also introduces a nice woody background that gives the scent a bit more maturity, a bit more class, and a bit more depth. The scent starts out with a very powerful and one-dimensional smell of grape soda. I can't describe why it makes me feel this way, however it makes it smell a little immature. As explained above, that changes when the scent reaches the 3 hour mark. The grape soda smell however is always at the forefront. It lasted around 8 hours on me, 2 days on clothes. I sampled and bought this with a friend when we were just walking through the mall together. We both immediately got ourselves a bottle each. We are both in our early 20's. I would say this scent is made for a younger audience. Teenagers (perhaps not in school as projection is a bit much), and people in their early 20's. An older man could pull it off too. It's a fun fragrance and like I said above goes beyond expectations. To me, this is a top-tier niche fragrance in scent (it's original, special, great performance & sillage) but not in price. It is, in my opinion the best fragrance you can get below 100. It is unique so try before you buy, however if you envision the smell of grape soda in you're head, and you like the idea of it as a fragrance, then you are pretty much guaranteed to like Silverscent.

Silver Scent has an ultra-delicious and mega-powerful fragrance! Without a doubt, it is one of the special perfumes in my collection. It is strong from start to finish (although there is no end), with its bittersweet effect, which makes everyone ask: “what fragrance are you wearing?”. Its fragrance exudes, attracts, it makes you want to lick, it makes you smell yourself all the time, it's absolutely different and, at the same time, addictive. Some say the intriguing aroma comes from the mix of lemon and orange. Others say it smells like grapes. I can only remember that, when I met this perfume, the store saleswoman told me that she had undergone training for the launch and that it contained Calabrian orange. And that this note, along with the lychee note, generated the fabulous result of this fragrance. In fact, the fragrance combines notes of lemon and orange blossom, in addition to lavender, rosemary, nutmeg, coriander, wild geranium, and a touch of cardamom. Finally, it brings woods, vetiver, tonka bean, and lychee. After it started to become better known, Silver Scent came to be criticized a lot. For me, within what was proposed in 2006, when it was launched, it proved to be a marvel of the perfumery that, although it has a very synthetic aspect, exudes and lasts with perfection and ended up becoming very popular with the Brazilian male audience. I confess that its singular smell makes me selfish and, going back in time, I wish it had remained unknown and, consequently, less popular.

I own Silver Scent, and Silver Scent Deep. Somehow, the OG SS smells less vintage / more modern compared to SS Deep. To me, that’s interesting since SS was released way earlier (2006) before SS Deep (2014). I wrote a review for SS Deep before this because I bought Deep first before I bought SS. In comparison, both are sweet, but not that kind of gourmandish sweet, more to fruity fresh sweet. I feel SS Deep has a vintage nuance, while SS is interestingly still relevant to wear even now in 2024. That doesn’t necessarily means that SS Deep smells old and outdated, it’s that vintage feeling that might make it suits more to more mature men. I guess, that fact really suits the name, right? SS Deep is more suitable for those who want a similar scent like SS but with a twist that is more mature, deeper, more personality, & classier in some ways. And that what makes me think that the OG SS to me is easier to wear and more suitable to wear daily, while SS Deep is one to wear in the evening or more serious / professional situation. And I see a lot of you say that SS is just too sweet to wear in warmer weather. But I don’t know, I’ve tried it, and SS smells just fine in warmer weather. Indeed, it isn’t a typical fresh scent, but I do think it’s still safe to wear in summer. I really like this brand. I’m currently hunting some other releases of Bogart especially the Silver Scent line. Too bad they’re hard to find here in my country. Silver Scent 7.25/10 Silver Scent Deep 7.5/10

I walked out of Chemist Warehouse with Silver Scent on my hand, to check it with my skin chemistry, to meet my gf in the hair salon. I walked into a wall of compliments. Every woman in the salon was in awe. Walk out of the salon, a male stranger passes, walks back to me and taps me on the shoulder to ask what cologne I was wearing. That has never happened in my life. I intend to purchase the 200ml after my next pay period as well as the shave balm. Before smelling Silver Scent I would have thought I was outside of my mind to purchase a measly $30 fragrance. But I believe it is because I know my search for my perfect/signature scent is over. I will always have a few staples in the collection; Fahrenheit, Encre Noire, Dior Homme Intense for romantic evenings. But I can never see myself liking anything more, or feeling anything suits who I am better than Silver Scent. And I must say, it is a beautiful thing. This is the best fragrance I have EVER smelled. Breathtakingly beautiful and seductively powerful.

I enjoy the smell. Nothing fancy, but comforting. I got a compliment as soon as I stepped into work today, and I don’t get them often. Probably because I’m a “less is more” type of guy on the trigger these days. So regardless on whether or not Silver Scent has been reformulated, I can absolutely attest that it’s still a beast mode scent, as I can also smell it on myself pretty much all day as well, whereas most of the time nose blindness usually sets in if my skin hasn’t already eaten it up. Clean, sweet, grape soda vibe, as others have mentioned. I can also get small whiffs of teakwood poking through the fruit here and there. There’s a reason why this one spawned almost half a dozen flankers.....It’s a winner, and it’s the same type of humble Bogart DNA that their brand has built itself on for decades. One Man Show flanker fans should dip their toe into this line. It’s a fun freshy for any age group, and like most Bogart releases, it will only grow on you the more you wear it.

This may still be the best of the Silver Scent lineup. Although they are all pretty close. It may even be the strongest one of the bunch. I think I'm in the minority of people who think this is great all year long. It seems most put it as a winter scent, but I think it's fresh enough even for summer. In fact I'd say it's better for spring and summer. It could be one of those summer fragrances for people who don't like aquatics, or fresh/blue fragrances. I love the orange blossom it's my happy note. I love the way this smells all the way around. I kind of get why people say grape Kool Aid, or grape soda. I feel like this is a purple fragrance myself. As in not blue but not far off so I smells more purple to me. I'd take this over Lafayette Street or anything based on it, and probably over Niko Sculpture too

i blind bought both Silver Scent and Silver Scent Intense after much deliberation over sweet perfumes, especially after testing Paco One Million, Diesel Only The Brave and Nike On Fire. And, i'm not disappointed with Bogart's relatively recent perfume additions. i loved both. SS bursts open into some kind of energy like a young 20-something chap, while SSI is a bit laidback like a late 30s man and enters nostrils more smoothly. Both the perfumes have a similar dry down, which is awesome. i am a fan of Bogart perfumes and SS/SSI are yet another set of offering by the perfume house at a lower price range. Not to mention, being of Bogart lineage, sillage and longevity are exccellent for both the perfumes.

LONG LASTING! INCREDIBLE SILLAGE - I work in a candle shop and when i started wearing this i had so many ppl asking if we had a new fragrance going in the store, it was that noticeable! Its very sweet, but balanced by the exotic woody and spicier parts. i much prefer it to other sweet fragrances. This has become one of my everyday fragrances, out of chance. My ex boyfriend used to wear this fragrance so i always associate it with him. i got a great price on it earlier this year and thought i'd buy it for the memories! i ran out of my other fragrances and started using this, and while for the first few wears i was flooded with memories, slowly but surely i made it my own. and it has become a must have!

this perfume is like monster . it reveals your presence even in a group of 30-40 in a banquet hall . when i first wore this perfume i could juz not remove the scent from my skin even after 12 hours .. it takes you a shower after 14 hours to neutralize the smell on your skin . pheww !! this is a bomb .. if you are a person who like to leave a scent trail wherever you go .. this is your buy this perfume smells good from the top it takes time to settle .. when it does settle .. it keeps radiating throughout great scent .. at great price .. you can just blind buy this perfume

I always smelled it but never knew what it was. It ate me up that I had such an experienced nose yet I never knew what this was. It was hard for me to describe to the perfumers in my vicinity. It was beyond satisfying to the nose.I randomly tried this scent called silver scent that I have always heard of but never thought to experience it. THIS WAS IT! This cheap piece of shit made feel things that only an esteemed niche would. Soapy sweet and fruity with an indescribable effervescence. A must try before you die. 10/10

My favorite cheapie so far! I've been searching for a grape fragrance for months, and this is one of the best I've tried. There's no *intentional* grape note here, but the scent as a whole is very reminiscent of powdery grape candy. Decent sillage (though your mileage may vary) and stupidly good longevity at a very affordable price. It's a masculine scent, but if you're a confident hag like me, you can pull it off well. The liquid itself is quite runny though, so expect a bit of a mess while applying.

After seeing some of the rather controversial videos about this one I had to try it. right off the bat. BAM a strong, synthetic citrus and what I believe is Iris and maybe Leather. Very nice, but very loud. as this settles down it settles into a very Sweet Tonka Powdery vibe, by no means similar to the Dior Homme line. If anything the 2 fragrances that come to my mind are Joop Homme and Armani Code. Overall I like it. Performance is insane (exactly how you see the graph here on Fragrantica)

for the first try i'm not really like it, feel chemical. but starting like this scent in a second try, the chemical smell decreasing. this fragrance very simple smell, grape juice. but the dry down on skin have a 1 million DNA. very versatile can use in warm and cool weather. maybe the projection not beast as the vintage formulation, but the longevity still outstanding. only 1 spray can stand over 10 h (batch 2015). for the price point, very good value.

What a surprise this one is! only $30AUD at Chemist Warehouse Sillage = Powerhouse, Longevity = Powerhouse 12+ hours on my skin and lasts days on my jumpers. Smell is Phenomenal, Grapey Citrus, mass appeal. Cant go wrong This is a great one for anyone who wants to get attention (and in a good way) Silver Scent is 100% my go to night out cologne. Have many compliments wearing this out in groups someone always asking ''Who smells like that, its amazing''

I've always seen it almost everywhere but never thought of getting one, until I decided to try it at a local store. It took me 10 minutes to like it and eventually I ended up buying two bottles. It smells GREAT, but I'm surprised with the performance of it considering that it is an EDT concentration. It lasted easily 24 hours on my sweater and it projects heavily even few hours after applying it. What a steal for 18$. Easy 9.5/10.

Smelled this on a test strip. BAM! recognized the scent immediately. I have smelled this on guys before and always wanted to know what it is because it smells AMAZING! Dark yet Sweet and fresh at the same time (I love it) How this is not hyped up by Jeremy Fragrance or in any of his top 10's videos is beyond me... This gem deserves more attention and love than it is currently getting

I really do love Silver Scent. But its a typical ''Eshay'' cologne... every 14-25 year old loitering outside train stations and shopping centers is encapsulated in a cloud of Silver Scent. due to its increasing popularity because of price and performance I think this will (if it hasn't already) take over Sauvage and One Million as ''the most over worn'' fragrance

Silver Scent = Melbourne Nightclub Scent. Its VERY common, VERY Popular. And thats not a bad thing. $30 AUD for this absolute beast of a fragrance is a steal! Silver Scent can easily destroy 1 Million, Eros, Ultra Male, Joop and so on in its performance as a clubbing scent. I dont know how this doesn't have more hype from all the Youtubers

I gotta say, this is sexy fragrance. It is unique, fells like cherry but I think the cherry feel comes from amber litchi. Longevity is good, for 6-8 hours, you will still feel it, sillage is amazing for 3 hours. Definetly a Night fragrance. For the price, It is very nice fragrance and worth the money.

Grape Hubba Bubba! If you like the smell and taste of Grape Hubba Bubba and think.. hey, if they made this into a fragrance, I'd wear it!.. cause it's exactly like it!! It's an obnoxious child at a funeral But its your child!, you love them, they bring a smile to your face! (Don't wear to funerals)

OOFT! this one is powerful. Absolute gem that can be worn by a man aged 18 or 80. Super versatile in that sense to me this provokes images of a rich man, confident, assertive, yet mysterious who is in the club rocking the Gold chain, Gold watch with all other designer accessories. I Love it!

What an absolute Gem this is! it is definitely becoming more popular as I'm seeing it for sale in more places and Jacque Bogart is now releasing new SS flankers (e.g Pure, Infinite Silver) smells amazing and lasts all day + a shower. Not to mention its cheap as chips

So very impressive fruity and full of sensuality. Light fruity, grapes, with a touching enigma... yes, exotic and strong! But non woody fragrance. It's so different, a thinking about a exotic fruity fragrance for men, I don't find others have a so bold proposal...

The sillage and longevity on this is pretty amazing, considering the low cost. 2-3 sprays is enough. Anymore and you'll regret it. I wore it yesterday and showered before bed and woke up this morning and I could still smell it against my skin.

May be my favorite fragrance, smells like Nikos Sculpture on steroids, Bogart never misses. Yes, it's obviously synthetic but it smells like fresh laundry hanging outside on a chilly spring day, bit aldehydic and sexy.

My first fragrance, I got this as a gift and I loved it from the first time I smelled it. After getting into designers and niches, I realised that the smell is kind of cheap, but none the less very nice.

One of my favourite cheapies. It is a spring-summer cologne, very long lasting. It is a fresh spicy scent with a touch of grapes. The only negatives it is a little bit synthetic.

Alot stronger and better smelling than some of my more expensive scents, very sweet and spicy. Call me crazy but this frag reminds me a lot of paco rabbane one million.

Very strong cologne, would only apply 2-3 sprays at max. Smells really nice and aromatic, but lasts a very long time and people can smell it a mile away.
