Irissime Noir

This hidden gem is lovely. Really lovely. I actually bought this for the stunning black and gold bottle (I have a black/gold theme in my office and display a few bottles in there), and it's just as pretty in real life. I didn't know what to expect with the fragrance, but was pleasantly surprised by Irrisme Noir. It's really beautiful and very strong! I sprayed it on my wrists last night, and I can still smell it. Opening spray reminds me of icy cold flowers in the snow being drenched in warm vanilla milk and decorated with sweet fruits. I know that sounds odd, but it's really beautiful and feminine. The dry down reminds me a lot of Cashmere Glow by B&BBW. It's super sweet peach milk with hints of Jasmine and smooth amber. I will say I find the "Noir" aspect is strange, as this to me is a lovely Autumn daytime or early evening fragrance. It's soft, pretty and easy to wear. I imagine sitting in a dreamy little cafe watching the world go by while I sip a hot chai latte and snuggle up in a beige scarf that is sprayed with this perfume. Mmm, warm and comforting. I love it! I got a huge 100ml bottle for a really good price. I'm delighted with my cheap £18.99 blind buy.

This is so beautiful. Milky apricots with a cakey/buttercream feel. I get no apple which is good because apple (without cinnamon and the normal fall spices) always seems to turn fragrances in the DKNY Be Delicious direction and I'm not a fan of that type of fresh apple. This smells very similar to Rue Madam Cotton Vanilla. I know some say that this one is lacking in the performance department but I don't have that problem with this one. And I'm a beast mode only girl. If you can't smell me before you see me, I want no parts of it LOL. Now this is not that. This is not beast mode BUT it sticks to my clothes and hair and I get a good hours with moderate projection. It's become harder to find but if the idea of a milky apricot cupcake with some buttercream frosting sounds good to you, this would be worth seeking and obtaining a bottle of.

Airy sweetness, delicately demure, smoothly understated, calming comfort. No loud, garish notes here, just charmingly sweet with warm round fruits, soft osmanthus, soothing jasmine, clean white musk, and delicious vanilla. It's more of a gourmand than a fruity floral as the flowers are merely here to support and balance. After smelling so many loud, attention-seeking fragrances with similar notes, I am adoring this softer, more sophisticated composition. Very well blended, a treasure at this price point. The name is very odd as it dosen't seem to suit the scent story. The bottle is nice but again, seems a mismatch with this fragrance. I do like the glass base but the cap is so cheap feeling it makes me want to modify it or maybe switch it out. UPDATE I can still smell this 10 hours later.

This is such an underrated fragrance! Elegantly sweet and lactonic, just lovely! The main downside is that it doesn't last for long at all, I'd be lucky to get an hour out of it in the winter! A plus point is that it is good value for money, so you can afford to overspray but this is cancelled out by the fact that it is quite difficult to get hold of in the UK, so I have to use it sparingly.. it is by no means a dupe but reminds me of a mix of Casablanca by Swiss Arabian and Vanilla Woods by 7 Virtues. So in the winter, mixing the three of them together = 😍

Very sweet, almost a crème brûlée with lots of vanilla and a touch of peach/apricot. Only a kiss of floral. A good bedtime scent. A unique quality fragrance at an affordable price.

One of my absolute favorites😍 this is a lighter scent put it does last its this delicious peachy vanilla milky fragrance with Apricots and some floral background soo pretty!!!

agree with cleo cupcake about the fruits, except i couldn't smell any fruits at all. really quite likeable sweet thing, if you like sweet ones. jasmine? a teensy sweet touch rose maybe in there, somewhere. reminds me of the top notes of Tea for Two, in a sweet milky cup of exotic tea kind of way. this amber does have a slight dark (not smoke, but like the smokiness of a lapsong kind of smoke) facet, which i like. i swear i can smell carrots hiding in there - so maybe it does have iris in after all. reminding me slightly also of Organza Indecense, sans cinnamon. not boring or generic, but yes sweet and soft.

Surprisingly (considering it’s very affordable and housed in rather cheaply made bottle) it’s incredibly smooth milky perfume. No sharp edges, just delicate vanilla, Werthers-original kind of sweetness and a hint of osmanthus. There’s also very slight woodiness to it, a bit like spilling few drops of vanilla essence onto freshly cut log? Very cosy and comforting, alas short lived :(

Irissime noir starts as an ambery apricot juice, lighten with airy musks. The fragrance leans more and more towards a musky vanilla over time, the apricot tone making it rounder, but also feeling kind of sticky sweet. There is also a note reminding me faintly of pineapple. As for the vanilla, it has kind of a licorice undertone. Definitely a musky vanilla but with a strong fruity side. It doesn't smell clean nor soapy, and it doesn't feel overly sweet. This is nice if you like apricot, but I don't think this fragrance is anything special. Also, why is it called Irissime ?

Dark luxurions vanilla. Sweet and buttery. In the opening it slightly reminds me of Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain, however it's not boozy. Lacks those rum vibes. This makes it even more wearable to me. Where I live this Guerlain doesn't have too many fans, but this - Irissime Noir is just right. Could be too sweet for some, but at this point it's perfect for me. Recently I bought Perlier's Caribbean Original Vanilla and I agree with the "reminds me of" section that they resemble each other, but Perlier is far more linear and somehow even sweeter. I'm very happy how the milk note is presented here. Not a sour lactone, but it's on the buttery caramel / condensed milk/ dulce de leche side. This will be my bedtime vanilla for the next couple of days before spring fully arrives here and I feel more like something ..well... spring-like ... Irissime EDP maybe :) EDIT: This + L’Artisab Legends du Cedre gives it the exact type of “boozy” to turn it instantly from a cozy to a sensual night fragrance 🥰.

At first smell I get a lovely apple/fruit pie and custard. Very warming and comforting,I agree this would make a great scent to cozy up in bed with. The dry down is a luxurious vanilla. This fragrance is strong, I have only sprayed one wrist and I am enveloped in its lovely scent. Highly recommend if you like fruity vanilla fragrances.

Perfect fall and winter going to bed fragrance: a soft cozy vanilla. I don't get any of the fruits listed. Smells exactly like Cologne of the missions - I don't think I could tell the two apart. Mass appealing fragrance, I don't see anyone disliking this (if you can handle straight up vanilla with nothing much else going on).

No Iris, no Noir, no surprises. Soft. sweet with a definite but fairly fleeting apricot top note. Acceptable for office wear if you like to smell sweet for a while but on the whole - meh.

No iris, warm vanillary scent, smells just like Le Couvent des Minimes Cologne of the Missions

a very unique scent and not common at all! bravissimo! changed from those generic scents!

Irissime Noir... so noir that iris is disappeared in the dark. Not listed. well..

So beautiful and yummy. Im getting another bottle for sure!
