Vers Le Sud by Jacques Fath: A Lovely and Serious Fig ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Vers Le Sud by Jacques Fath was a perfume that I fell in love with at first sniff. It was sprayed on my clothes by the shop keeper when I was ordering another perfume, and it stayed with me for three days during my trip to another city. It was a lovely and serious fig, with amber, herbs, and musk. It was a borderline unisex scent, but leaning more towards the feminine side. It was a little sweet, aromatic, and gourmand, but not edible. It had a yellow color, like the sun in the south. The perfume was similar to Fico Di Amalfi by ADP, but less playful and more sillage heavy. It was a creation of Jacques Fath, a serious house that does not mess with anybody and takes everything seriously. It was a niche perfume, and not very popular or hyped, which made it more special and unique. It was a perfume that required thorough investigation before buying, as some of their perfumes were intolerable, like Curacao Bay, and some were lovely, like Bel Ambre. I considered them a sane niche house, unlike some others that went nutty and weird. The performance of this perfume was superb, especially on clothes. It lasted for days, and had a mild and pleasant sillage. It was a four season perfume, but it worked better in colder environments, as it gave a cozy and comforting vibe. I bought a bottle of this perfume many years later, after I fell in love with it, but it was probably defective, as it had a leaking dent on it. I fixed it with UV resin, but maybe that affected the perfume, as I lost some of the top notes. I still enjoyed it, but it was not the same as the first time. I gave it 4 stars, as it was a lovely and serious fig, but not perfect.

This is going for dirt cheap right now, and i think fig is an interesting note that i usually enjoy...so i bought it. This stuff is pretty nice, its not extremely complex but i think it does what its trying to do well, with quality smelling accords and ingredients. I dont want to get too far into the weeds because i just got it but i will tell people that if 10 years ago you loved 3AM with the fig note, but youve moved on and youre more mature now, this might really scratch an itch for you. Decent performance, it lasts a while but after a few hours it calms down. Heat revives it, in that way it behaves as a parfum which is the concentration advertised. Its definetely unisex but mostly because theres one point (that doesnt last forever) where the florals shine bright. Mostly jasmine (which as a dude isnt the end of the world) but a sense of some soapy clean white floral notes too for that period of time. The opening is akin to a classic cologne style besides the fig which is more unique, then the fig comes way out front, then the florals pop up, then in the drydown its decently mossy and woody but never stuffy or too old school. One interesting thing about the opening is the lemon and fig create basically a perfect lemonhead candy note, in a good way. The lemon phases out into straight fig over time in a really cool way. I plan on wearing this in hot weather. Worth checking out for the prices at discounters 100%

It evokes a mix of lavender and clean hair gel, paired with a relaxed yet chic, slightly 'sweaty' style. It was such a beautiful blend. I was torn about getting a full bottle for a long time. I’ve been using the sample at the gym. I have a particular obsession with that humid, indoor, chlorinated pool scent, and since I found that vibe in this fragrance, it was easy for me to feel connected to it. It’s playful and elegant. While it leans definitely more masculine, I love wearing it simply because the scent itself is so beautiful. A fantastic fragrance with incredibly smooth edges.

I love Vers Le Sud's effervescent citrus opening that turns into a bright, creamy-woody comforting scent. Very nice indeed - and perfect for a sunny spring day. With its arrival in my collection, I'm sorry to say that my Acqua di Parma Colonia Pura's days are numbered ... to be offloaded to my relatives.I appreciated AdP Colonia Pura but it doesn't quite morph into something else that's memorable - unlike Jacques Path's Vers Le Sud.
