Coco Love

Whip cream & coconut sun lotion... This begins quite like a sun lotion with coconut flavor, vanilla, and whip cream then settles to ocean breeze and a daytime at the beach with white soft sand, seashells, coconut, & whip cream sun lotion. I guess after 60 minutes in i begun getting getting some baby jasmine as well, touch of leather, sandalwood, & pine mixed together and a gourmand-dish of coconut flavor sun lotion. I never thought that this one would turn that quite sexy although i never were a lover of fresh seaside blends, but his one is just amusingly beautiful.

I find it challenging to describe because it’s quite unique. You can definitely detect the coconut scent, but it’s reminiscent of sun lotion rather than a fresh coconut. It carries a certain heaviness that, at least for me, makes it better suited for cooler summer nights rather than the heat of the day. The fragrance is both sweet and woody, with a subtle pine-like undertone. As with all their products, the bottle is of exceptional quality, and so far, I’ve loved every perfume I own from this brand.

This one is so hard to review, I wore it for two days straight and I still can’t wrap my head around it. It’s so unique! Definitely more niche than designer style. What I smell is peachy lactonic sweet coconut on a bed of pine. The ‘pine’ note I’m getting in the background must be the cypriol oil. It’s quite prominent, this isn’t your usual beachy coconut. This makes it more suitable for men as well, but the sweetness is there so it is definitely suitable for women or those that prefer sweet scents. It doesn’t contain peach, but the lactonic aspect gives it the idea of peach, or peach skin, really nice. I wouldn’t wear this in summer, it’s a fall/winter coconut. The sea notes and florals are in the background. I even asked a friend what she thought, and she said ‘sweet, fruity, delicious and delicate’. That apparently how she perceived it in the air while sitting across me. It’s a power house performer, big sillage and lasts the entire day. Don’t overspray or you’ll hate yourself. The bottle is super nice with a heavy, magnetic cap, and I love that it’s opaque so the light won’t damage the scent. It comes in a luxurious, well designed box. I’d say if you love this unique smell, it is worth it’s price, as the quality is there. Not blind buy safe.

so similar to ete du cocotier, it's redundant to own both. cocotier may be slightly more masculine? but i wouldnt be surprised if theyre the same thing and im being fooled by the different bottles. truly a summer-safe gourmand
