Été du Cocotier

Quintessential sunscreen scent. Beautiful and develops very smoothly. I loved the middle journey when the sea water really came through. Every time I went to sniff again I got a different part of "my day at the beach" from SPF application en route in the car with the AC blasting, to cooking under the sun, to cooling off post ocean swim and reapplying sunscreen, to drinking a cocktail late evening with hot skin that radiates sweet sexy sticky sweat. If anyone has recommendations for this but punched up and weirder, or sexier, or any iterative - I would love to hear! Cannot imagine wearing this in any season other than summer. Might need to get a full bottle of this just because it's so joy-inducing!

Clearly "coconut scent for grown ups". This is so underrated fragrance - I'm on the second bottle. It is well blended and definitely unisex. I'm not sure what gives this hint of alcohol but I can imagine a hint of rum. Unusual coconutty perfume where coconut is not a big star but it is there... Sweet, salty and fresh dry down.

Just got a sample of this and I love it! Great coconut perfume, not too strong. Perfect summer scent!

This is a coconut scent for grown ups. I love coconut as a note but I’ve never seen it or smelled it use in such a sophisticated way. The coconut doesn’t smell potent or artificial. It’s a dry coconut but the whip cream adds a slight creamy touch. I don't get much florals. I get a bit of saltiness which obviously comes from the sea water note. The first test was meh but my second wear I’m enjoying this more. Despite the notes this isn't very tropical. This is a fragrance that can be worn year round & is equally unisex. The Cypriol oil is the note that takes this fragrance to the next level and makes it unique. This is a standout amongst other coconut scents. I like this a lot. My fave coconut scent is still VIW and I can't wait to see how they layer together.

Smells nothing like sunscreen. The coconut is the same as you find in Fusion d'Issey Extreme, but that is all there is here. Not a complaint, simple is fine; just that is how I perceive it. However, this scent was never present in any sunscreen I wore. For some reason the scent reminds me of the 90s--I cannot quite place it, but it was there (and no, it was not the Hawaiian Tropic! I promise you this!).

Smells like the disappointment of opening a coconut and finding out it’s rotten. Yuck!

Great unisex fragrance. The mix of fresh and slightly sweet is one of the best I've smelled, like a fresh gourmand. Not the most complex or anything and certainly overpriced for what is a linear scent, but it just smells so damn good

It's so late 80s-early 90s, I'm loving it! The closest I've gotten to finding a fragrance resembling the coconut sunscreen I remember from my childhood seaside vacations.
