Jaguar Excellence

This review is for the Excellence Intense EDP (not listed) This is really gorgeous. It's presented in a high quality and very pleasing bottle and box too. The smell is a warm amber and fruity vanilla/toffee with florals. The opening is similar to Fan Di Fendi Homme, the dry down is very like Roma Uomo by Laura Biagotti or WOW by Joop. Longevity for EDP is very good and projection is good too. Excellence Intense has a nice creamy character to it and you would think it costs twice the price. Another quality Jaguar, I haven't had a poor one yet and this is excellent value. Update.....I am getting a gorgeous smooth mellow silage wafting up from this - really lovely.

I bought the Excellence Intense, the longevity on this is good 6+ hours on me. When you get this it is nice quality bottle and is embossed in Metallic silver. The juice is like nothing I have in my collection. On me It starts off sweet peppery citrus and as it dries down the Iris seems dominate but more like the lip stick kind of smell than powdery. After about 30 minutes you get the amber/vanilla but some of the sweetness is calmed down by the cedar. Silage is also descent while it is not a beast you will get noticed. Fragrantica needs to give this one it’s own page, this is the one you should buy!

The intense version is much better than the regular excellence. The darker juice inside the bulky heavy bottle makes it even more powerful. This doesn't smell like 1 million, so different...it's probably like a full bodied sweet whiskey or rum except it's not drinkable. I have to admire this version better than the vision or classic. Two thumbs up

Excellence Jaguar for men is a grate one from jaguar the grapefruit and mandarin combined with pink pepper & amber and tonka really makes a grate performance along with good Longevity & Sillage with a good bottle desigen so it makes the equation perfect at the end & let's not forget the reasonable price. P.S. im talking a bout the EDP.

Do not think it looks like One Million. Only, it should be the same olfactory family. You may remember a little, but is much less cloying, less sweet and more exotic. Excellent, as every Jaguar. Fixing and silage, great.

An engaging soothing scent,one you want to wear on your skin when a lover is close. Safe and leisurely scent for most occasions,a good scent to wear when you want to smell handsome and confident!

stick one mill...this shits beast o matic..afterall it is a jaguar...and it smells brownn,..caramelly coffee vanilla slap upside your face...excellent and underapreciated

Bought for my husband and it smells wonderful! Warm and a little spicy makes you want to lean in for a deeper inhale. Very masculine

The Best From Jaguar It's like 1Millon from Paco Rabbane but Excellence less sweet and more wearable. My Rating: 9/10

I like this, better than most of the other ones like vision and the classic. And it's EDP too... Must have!

This is a pretty good fragrance, I picked this up as I was intrigued in what a fragrance branded by Jaguar would have to offer. I own the EDT and the Excellence Intense EDP. The intense version is definitely better, it has a bit of anise spice that gives it some liveliness. Both are very similar though, being smooth, vanilla, powdery floral-dominated fragrances. There’s honestly nothing all too special about it, it’s just a very modest fragrance that simple, classy, and light. The performance is okay, it projects fine but doesn’t last long on my skin. The EDP is hardly any better, but I wouldn’t say it’s bad. A big complaint I have about this fragrance is the atomizer and bottle quality. The atomizer is one of the worst I’ve ever used. Like horrendously bad. Also the top chrome plastic part came off of the cap which makes it really annoying to use. Overall, I would recommend picking this up if you don’t already own anything in this kind of scent family, as it’s cheap and a safe blind buy. If you can get the intense version then get that one instead, but be aware it’s slightly hard to find. I had to buy it second-hand for $50 (not worth it for that price imo) because no shops sell it. There is an amazon listing for the intense but I had 2 unsuccessful attempts with different sellers where I got sent the regular version and told that they don’t actually carry the intense, so I assume it’s either discontinued or nobody bothers to sell it.

I can't say Excellence is the best from jaguar but I must this is one of the best from jaguar I really liked it. Its not extraordinary but it is a good one... I do get the similarity with 1 million but only in the mid notes top is different base is different and even in the middle it is not that loud it is soft close to skin opens with fruity/citrusy accords and dries down with something vanillic which reminds me a lot of discontinued fragrance Avon Intrigue... Bottle and box is simply awesome and let me tell u this review is for EDP version... Longevity is good but projection is weak.. 7 out of 10...

Take Paco Rabanne 1 Million and add some florals like the Iris and Orange Blossom and you have Jaguar Excellence. This is a great fragrance to own and I would say this is a good blind buy if you like fragrances on the sweeter side. The bottle is a very nice glass with a little bit of heft. I really like glass bottles for fragrances. I'm interested in trying others from Jaguar after being pleased with this. This is a very nice fragrance for the price! Rating- 88/100

Eau de parfum review: This is a nice mix of amber, vanilla, orange blossom and iris which gives off a subtly smooth vibe. For the price this is worth a try. Make sure you get Excellence Intense eau de parfum version.

I'm not all that much for amber scents at least based on what I smelled so far but this one is nice and balanced, soft and round. indeed an excellent scent well worth the money.

The one word I would use to describe this frag is WEAK! It smells great but everything disappears almost instantly, on my skin and the air. On my skin the top notes smell great but towards the middle it smells very synthetic like a cheap car freshener. At least I didn't spend much at all on this. I will either give this away or use this as a car freshener. P.S. The atomizer is really bad!

Smells amazing. However, it has zero longevity - at least on my skin. That's a real disappointment as the scent is brilliant. Vanilla, amber, leather - very refined. But it had completely disappeared after about 20 minutes. I'm tempted to try a different stockist/batch as others seem to tell a different tale in their reviews. But my test (both wrists and inner elbow) simply didn't stick.

This review is for Jaguar Excellence Eau de PARFUM! I have to admit, when I saw this fragrance (and I mean the EDP version) online for around 20€ I jumped at it, considering that it coudn't be that bad. I said to myself, that even if it wouldn't be that strong, it's stil a EDP and since winter is coming, I could use another sweeter scent. I wanted something sweet and I got it... unfortunately, I get it only for around 10 minutes. It opens with a could of sweetness, a nice mix of tonka beans and vanilla. But it fades away that quickly, that you can't tell a lot more about it. It dries down after approx. 2-3 minutes and I could tell there was some orange or orange blossom there, but I wasn't sure. Overall: longevity: several hours sillage: a lot (according to my colleagues at work) The fragrance (I refuse to call it parfum) is for a very good reason cheap... because it is a cheap fragrance. It's not my cup of tea.

Have you ever stepped on a stinkbug? This fragrance should be called Essence Of Stinkbug. First time I sprayed it I thought I stepped on a pile of stinkbugs. Worst fragrance I have ever purchased (Blind bought based on reviews). The price was $11 for a 3.4oz tester so I figured I had nothing to lose. I was wrong. I would feel bad selling this to someone else. Please do yourself a favor and test this one out before you make a purchase. You can thank me later. For the guys who do love or like this one, please take no offense to my review. Im just being honest. Not my cup of tea (or stinkbug).

In all honesty, I do not understand why this one is liked so much...I feel a little bit cheated...top notes remind me of joop homme but in a very synthetic way, a bit of 1 million as well but also in a very synthetic way and i even smell some synthetic le male in the dry down...no this one is a really bad cheapo imo...miles behind Jaguar for men (or even Performance by Jaguar)...both are cheaper and much better !

I got the EDT. I find it to be weak overall. Weak longevity, weak projection, and weak in overall scent. I put on two sprays and I had trouble smelling it. Putting on a LOT more helps some but it remains hard to even pick it up. I have some really good Jaguar fragrances so I guess this one is just an outlier.

Women's designer hand bag. It's not an issue that leather is or isn't real; it looks good and has solid feel. It also has that kind of factory fresh hand sewn/ adhesive smell and quality, in a good way, by all means. Reaching into the bag, you can feel the leather ridge of the opening and then the soft satin lining further in. The inner lining is smooth and plush; you can tell there is an additional layer of padding between the inner lining, and the outer leather; the layers creating a gap of cool air, that feels nice and cool around your hand. You feel around in the bag, and it feels and sounds like what you would expect from a woman's hand bag. The rustling and clacking of items. You recognize the feel of cylindrical rectangles of lipstick, glossy smooth, circular and rounded-square clam shell type things, other make up items. A bit of powdery residue coming off onto the back of your hand and fingers. You are surprised how pleasant the interior feels against your skin.. As if discovering this intimate tactile merit of the item raises your impression the bag. That the value and quality of hand bag or things like this are not just by looks; but about how they smell and feel, and how they work for you. The grapefruit and vanilla give off a soft mint, without that sharp, watery outline. Tonka and lily of the valley give a tan, soft PU leather smell. It doesn't smell like booze perse, but it has a boozy vibe to it. Semi synthetic, but without fault. Well blended, and especially the higher notes are blended well into of the body, without anything really standing out. Cooler/cold weather a must. If the aesthetic of this scent is that kind of iris powdery make-up feminine of a woman's hand bag, the overall is still masculine in the way that that handbag would use quality materials and be solidly and thoughtfully put together.

I was able to obtain a 100 ml bottle of the EdT at a price lower than what Victory League by Adidas sells for (at the low end!), so I couldn't pass it up. I mentioned Victory League because I already have a bottle of it and didn't want to buy one that is similar. Of course some people will say they are similar, and it's certainly closer to VL than it is to say an aldehydic chypre marketed to women in the 70s, but I find Excellence to be at least one big step up from VL, and I'd go so far as to say that the drydown of Excellence could be very similar to a niche scent's drydown! The floral element present here is very well done, providing structure and texture without feeling at all "feminine." It's not as strong as say a niche amber scent, but it's certainly strong enough for me. There also seems to be a soft leather element. I wouldn't be surprised if some described this as a cool amber scent, and the only complaint that might make some sense to me is that it's not all that complex. However, this can be said of many very expensive scents, and sometimes I'm not seeking a complex scent. I was interested in this one when it was selling for around $20 so I'm glad I bought it at a much lower price (and I don't perceive it as especially similar to 1 Million or an orange creamsicle, and it certainly has "unisex potential"). Also, I think of this as the adult version of Altamir, but this is more "mature." For example, I'd say it's closer to Habit Rouge than Pi on the "Mature-O-Meter." Note that according to the Parfumo.net site the notes are a bit different for the EdP: Top Notes Mandarin, Cardamom, Sichuan pepper, Aniseed. Heart Notes Marine accord, Iris, Orange blossom, Violet. Base Notes Vanilla, Amber, Tonka bean.

This scent is stunning, made up of dilluted result of oil. Paris Hilton is an aroma in ladies' and men's release from Parlux Fragrances, and is the first scent to be embraced by Paris Hilton, going before it we can smell better. The aroma is made with a mix of solidified fruit, peach nectar, freesia, mimosa, jasmine, sandalwood, ylang, and oakmoss. The top notes of the men's aroma are sky air, fig leaf, and green mango. The mid notes are white sage, juniper bud, and basil. The base notes are Moroccan cedarwood, cucumber, and uncovered golden.

I have it and it's an super fantastic scent...it does smell a little like 1 million...but i found this much better...even if 1 milllion projects better....the opening has this nice manderine grapefruit vibe...and u could smell the manderine from opening to it's drydown...with some spices in the back...i think it's the pink pepper....and the drydown is where the vanille tonka amber starts to come in.....main notes for me....manderine orange blossom pink pepper vanille amber tonka

Good Choice,Good Price for edp version very performance.Bottle is very elegant design. My noise, "Jaguar Excellence" similar "Guerlain Lhomme İdeal" but pain version. Effective notes and skin or clothes.Longevity 8 hour,sillage 3 hour. Grapefourt,Vanilla,Pink Pepper triple combination good but every time use so boring.Because this fragrance not suprise not number. One word:Nice Smell.Not more.

I have come to reliaze that this doesn't project that great...even tough u sprayed alot...it's stils project soft...in the beginning it looked abit strong but after several wears it projets verry soft and after about 30 minutes or so it's hard to detect......projection 5/10 long lasting 6/10 smell 6.5/10

I bought the Eau de Parfum version of Excellence and I must say I'm very dissapointed. The smell is nice enough, powdery, however longevity and silliage is extremely small. Perhaps it is my skin/body type or the product is possibly a fake. I have used the Classic Black, and find that to be much better.

Very good durability and projection. 8 hours on the forearm and still can feel it with 12 inches. Fans of Paco Rabanne 1 Million will be delighted. This is in principle the same composition. A little less sweet and softer. The price very attractive given the parameters.

People that get bad performance out of this, there is an intense flanker to this which isn't listed on fragrantica. However sad news is the intense version doesn't have good performance either and it does have star anise in the intense version

wow this will be an amazing stuff just looking at the notes wow !!! fresh citrus opening but at the same time little spicy then the flowers join the game and finally Amber vanilla and tonka bean will give it a warm elegant touch till the end

Love the sour sweetness citrus scent of this one. Long lasting on my skin. Really help me on the heaty day especially when you go out for lunch and come back in the office with sweat. It blend nicely and thank god i smell good whole day

The excellence intense is far better smelling and it lasted 8 to 10 hours and it projects amazing in the first 3 to 4 yours then becoming a skin scent...the smell is so delicious smelling and such a wonderfull drydown 9/10

Smells alot like 1 million ...like 65% a remake but i found this much better and amazing...not as strong as 1 million but it's fantastic 8.5/10...it's smells sweet smooth ..like a brown vanillie caramel kind of smell

Tasty aromatic fragrance nuances or balsamic. The EDP is pretty long lasting and projecting. But the quality of the bottle caps is cheap.
