Jaguar Innovation Eau de Cologne

A couple months ago, I was helping my brother move in to his new place. As I picked up one of the boxes full of his belongings, I found quite a few bottles of cologne. One of them was Innovation by Jaguar. I opened the top and sniffed it, and oh my gosh, I was pleasantly surprised - it smelled so good! I love it when I can detect citrus, leather and sea notes in a cologne. Try it; you may like it just as me.

Make sure to get the Cologne version of Innovation. The EDT is nice too, but it's definitely on the sweeter side. The cologne is awesome, with average performance and sillage, but at its price point, can be re-applied whenever needed. One of Jaguar's best offerings.

The dry down is fire, but the opening sucks bison dick. If I didn’t give this 20-25 minutes to dry down I would’ve shot the bottle. Patchouli is the main note I’m getting here. Perfect for spring time and cool summer nights. $17 what I paid, don’t pay more than $20 for it.

The opening is truly horrible. Nothing “refreshing” about it, contra Jaguar marketing's description of it. Immediately you'll be tortured with the aroma of nude alcohol before it transitions into a screechy and overwhelming citrus smell. The dry down, where the cedar woodiness takes over, is quite nice actually. The scent profile reminded me of Terre d’Hermes, maybe a bit heavier on the patchouli giving it a more fresh feeling overall. (I don’t have TDH on me to do a direct comparison between the two, but obviously this won't last as long and is more synthetic smelling). I'm giving this a 3/5, which is maybe a bit harsh especially given the price but I had to deduct a point for the opening from hell.

I bought this on sale this weekend form fragrancebuy.ca for nearly $18.00 and all I can say is wow! This is a great classy scent. Starts off very citrusy then comes some light woods and it dries down a bit powdery but don;t be fooled this smells like it's worth 3 times the price.I honestly got about 7 hours longevity and another 2 as a skin scent.For under $20 you just could not go wrong got compliments too!

I got this cologne as a gift as had recently got a new Jaguar SUV. It's surprisingly very good. Citrusy. Very summery. I like it.

opening smells like rosemary even though there is no rosemany listed this is too green, and spicy for me SUPER HELL NO!!!
