Jaguar Pace

I was really excited to get this fragrance, since it was a blind buy. I've never really tried any of the Jaguar fragrances, but found it in Jeremy's review (so Jeremy if you're reading this- well done sir and of course, thank you, Lara). Saw it at Notino for 11 EUR, so it was a no brainer.. I hope this review will help get some love for this fragrance, cause for the price.. just buy this thing dammit! So it opens up very generic but very similar to some ''heavy hitters'' like Blue de chanel and fragrances from Kenzo. It's really more casual fragrance i would say suitable for work, sport and casual hanging out. I wouldn't try to push this on a formal event, but at the right time you could even pull this one off. The magic of this fragrance is the dry down after 15 minutes.. to me it smells like some expensive fragrance from top ''power houses'' and reminds me very much of Versace Dylan Blue and Kenzo pour homme. The scent itself isn't very unique, but i can definetely see why the ladies like it. It's fresh, very sporty, very confident like Jaguar and the scent itself isn't owepowering, so it doesn't give you any headache if you smell it to closely. Overall it's a realy good scent to have it your collection, especially for the price, it's just amazing. Caution: the bottle itself is also very cool, so your girl could try to steal it, just to remind herself of you ;) Scent: 8/10 (on account it's not that unique) Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7/10 Versatility: 9/10 Just think guys.. you get a imitator of a known powerhouses for about 11 EUR (60ml). What else do i need to say? I'm not even sorry i blind bought it :)

EDIT: Months on from this review and I still love this fragrance. Not the best ever obviously, but to smell this good at such a low price, I don't think I'll ever stop buying it. Perfect to spray on for lounging around the house or for the gym. If all you wanted was to smell nice and fresh to those around you, you need not spend more than £20 on a big bottle of Jaguar Pace. Absolutely fantastic value for money, and whilst generic, one of the most pleasant scents out there. It essentially smells like fresh shower gel, with added pepper and florals. The pepper gives it a masculine feel, which contrasts nicely with the light, floral touch. The sillage isn't amazing, but the scent lingers in the air to create a fresh, clean scent bubble. The longevity is only moderate, even for a fresh fragrance, but it's so affordable and pleasant that it won't harm you or anyone around you to respray throughout the day. There's nothing remotely offensive about it, and I can't see how anyone could dislike it. Granted, there's nothing unique or attention-grabbing about it, which may bore those with big collections of more extravagant scents. But for someone who has no interest in fragrance beyond just smelling clean and pleasant, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Jaguar Pace. For someone with a superficial interest like that, spending any more would be a waste of money, when to the majority of people, this smells more likeable than a heavy, niche oud fragrance, for example. Even those who are into fragrance don't always want to wear something loud and out-there - sometimes, you just want to smell nice and that's it.

I just got this fragrance from Fragrancenet and I have to say that I love it! Yes, it is not the most unique fragrance out there, however; it smells great, modern and very, very, very masculine! The black pepper is very prominent and gives this fragrance a sharp edge. It does smell like a shower gel in the best and sexiest way possible. I can clearly see why women like this fragrance. It smells clean, fresh, spicy and sexy! I am glad I got this gem in my collection! Great value!

Pace is a delightful clean, peppery/marine fresh juice with a touch of florals. It has moderate to good longevity and silage. The silage though is the best part - really lovely. The dry down evolves into a fresh, salty, marine smell. I must admit, Jaguar do put out really great value fragrances. This is definitely one of the nicest in the Jaguar line in my opinion. The silage is really gorgeous and clean. I think this perfume is underrated - this is a fabulous fragrance.

A great deal: got 60ml for under 15$. It's clean, fresh, mass-pleasing and easy to wear. Nothing ground-breaking, but a great fragrance. It will get you through 6-8 hours with low projection, maybe in the first 1-2 hours the projection is better, but after that it sits close to the skin. Edit: It was a cooler day here in Bucharest and I wore this; It's been more than 8h now and I can still smell this; this works best in spring and fall.

One of the best blue shower gels for the gym, it doesnt last too long and you dont need it for that purpose. That spicy peppery kick is welcomed to give the energy boost you need. Its slightly herbal and darker blue vibe still extra fresh. Perfect balance of everything and doesnt reek of any particular note. One of the most inoffensive blue smells out there. For the price its grade A.

Just got this fragrance today and when I sprayed it I said hold up a jaguar fragrance isn't suppose to smell this nice,soon as I walked into work 2 ladies immediately said I smell amazing,if the longevity is 7 plus hours this may be my new dumb grab/signature,9 out of 10 so far

Things I love about this: 1. It smells great - clean and unique 2. It lasts around 8 hours on my skin, projects just right. 3. People dismiss it because an infamous "You-tuber" likes it Enjoy. Edit: I get lots of patchouli and pepper. Awesome. I love it.

Great stuff! Imagine your typical masculine shower gel but with lots of pepper and a creamy iris undertone. That is exactly what you get here. Simple, fresh, but gets the job done. The perfect «i need to go to work but dont know what to wear» scent.

Exremely manly, smells quality and a luxurios fresh out of the shower scent, However it doesnt last that long, myabe 1-3 hrs but it's cheap and you can easily respray this. Great office/school scent if you just want something simple and inoffensive.

I totally understand why cocaine bear suggested this. You can't go wrong with it if you want to smell fresh and clean. For that price, i love it. Of course performance isn't going to be Frederic Malle The Night, but for what it is, it does the job

This may be nothing unique, bit it's a really nice, masculine fragrance with strong performance that you can use everyday. It's inoffensive and perfect for work too. The bottle is also great in my opinion.

Best shower gel fragrance out here it smells like a typical shower gel with some added apple and pepper great blind buy any day were straight out the shower scent 8.5/10

Pace is literally the only cheapie recommended by Jeremy that I ended up liking. Worth a try!

Not a wow performance but, in my opinion, one of the most likeable fresh cheapies out there.

No fragnance ....no trace of smell...just some fragnance water..waste of money..

I test drove one of those F Paces a few months back and was considering getting one as I was suitably impressed, unfortunately it's fragrance namesake is a little short of the mark but only a little mind you. It opens very generic, with an aquatic, somewhat 90's feel but soon shows what it's all about as that herbal Rosemary and lavender start to woody it up. It's soapy and mega clean, almost impossible to hate but hard to love or get excited about in any way. It reminded me of a few scents but thankfully one that comes through stronger as it dries down was Paco XS/Creed Himalaya but sadly not quite as nice as either of those. It has a bit of the Mr Burberry too a scent that I'm sure I'll be slated for actually enjoying on some level, there's shades of other stuff too but it's all very roll on deodorant and forgettable. It's died back considerably after 2 hours but still there and doesn't remind me of XS anymore (frankly I kinda wish I was wearing XS right now and that kinda sums this fragrance up.) I'm not mad at it and as far it goes Jaguar have another perfectly usable and still masculine fragrance here, exactly the kind of thing which appeals to the sort of no nonsense bloke who purchases a fragrance from Jaguar.

Rather boring and non descript.Very generic and this is likely why women like it according to so many here. I know many of my more daring /interesting/unique fragrances are not liked by women so much because they are not GENERIC. The whole panty dropper- women like it thing is so over rated. Pleasant enough and a very very very very safe office scent: like a just showered guy with body spray on. Its like this>> When a woman says your" a nice guy" it means you are average/boring and safe. Many end up with the so called "nice guy" but usually end up wanting/cheating or divorcing and going for the nor to safe guy or "bad boy" so to say. I see this aLL the time and laugh when talking to people and hear the woman say" oh he is such a nice guy". Thats what this fragrance is> :the nice guy. Women seems to want the whole nice guy thing for stability and having kids and support but in the end they grow bored and tired of the nice guy and this is why you see married women who go out with their single friends always drinking alot and acting silly and flirting. I was never seen as "a nice guy" but as a rebel and so called "badass" because i never conformed and went along with the norm. And this is how i like my fragrances.

I had extremely low expectations for this, and I regretted buying this before I had opened the box. I had heard that this is generic, and with a Sauvage-type of twist, which I hate. Also, having bought the Jaguar Classic Gold after hype and it turning out being awful, I wasn't so hyped about Jaguar as a brand. The price was however only a little bit over 10 € / 100 ml, so I gave it a shot. When I first sprayed this on, I realised that it smells actually just like everybody had described it. However, it seems to work very great. It is like mixing less-cucumber-smelling Nautica Voyage with a touch of Sauvage. Also, if you go to the nearest store and grab the cheap non-brand shower gel saying "Sport", this is pretty close to it. This is almost like a modernized version of the "normal" sport smell. The only bad thing I find about this is the especially short lasting. I like to soak myself into this before going to the gym, and I find this to be perfect to it. Would also be a good daily fragrance for those who don't wear fragrances in the first place, but the longetivity should be at least double as good as it is now.

Not a bad scent at all and considering the price of this I’d say this is a winner ! Although, generic as well. Pace opens up smelling like a lot of sporty scents/body sprays that I’ve smelled in the 90s as it’s fresh but also very musky and a little peppery. Once this dries down however that pepper subsides and the apple,iris and patchouli take over making this smell like a pleasant,green smelling body wash. I really like the iris and patchouli in this scent ! Since Pace kind of falls in the scent category of a lot of adidas colognes this will be perfect for casual use for the active guy or just a fresh out of the shower smell for running errands or just to chill around the house when you still want to smell nice but don’t want to waste your more expensive stuff. Performance on this is quite good for a sporty scent as it lasts 4-6 hours and doesn’t project a ton but does leave a nice scent trail. Overall rating-7 out of 10 ! Really kind of boring,sporty, but pleasant scent great for casual use.

People seem to disregard Jaguar frags for some reason in the fragcom but i find they put out consistent frags, meaning they will never release a hype banger but at the same time they will hardly completely disappoint you...i own some of them and i can't say i truly dislike any. This one, reminds me of F by Ferragamo (not the Black version, the regular one) but spicier. While F leans more to the soapy side, Pace goes to the peppery/spice route. The notes they share are very easy to compare between them and pick out. Honestly, i'm not mad at all about grabbing this one specially for the price. It does have that "modern blue" feel but i think it still has enought of a twist to warrant a pick up as a warm weather, dumb reach frag for casual outings. If you go in with the right expectations, this is a solid addition to a small collection.

I may have reviewed this back in the day. I still have two full bottles, one in use and one that I had emptied previously. Used it a lot years back, now not so much. If I ever come across someone that is sorta interested in cologne, but does not wear it regularly this is my suggestion for younger people. Yes, it is definitely the synthetic shower gel vibe the “blue” fragrances go for, but it does it quite well. I could definitely see this being a bit much for some people (performance is softer after the dry down) but it’s no where near as loud as others, like Sauvage. I personally like this one as an easy dumb reach kind of fragrance that won’t break the bank. Certainly nothing special, but a pretty solid offering and great starting point for people just getting into modern perfumery.

This was a blind buy. Super cheap for a 100ml. I wasnt disappointed either. Yes, it is CHEAP smelling, but yes, this does smell good. BONUS!!! It doesn't hop on the Invictus Aqua train....It seems like half of these modern frags today are reminiscent of Invictus or Invictus Aqua. It starts off very herbal, spicy and very fresh. I will agree this has a shower gel vibe, but its the type of the shower gel where you smell it and wonder what the heck it is. It dries down to a very modern, fresh-spicy, almost mature scent. This is not best suited for high schoolers, however they will flourish with it. This is more of a mid-30's youthful, sporty guy. Very fresh and macho. This is cheap/synthetic, but GOOD. Well worth the price.

When Jeremy makes a list of Top 10 usually there are 1-2 choices that are trojan horses, or scents just added randomly. This scent is NOT one of them. This is a great recommendation. The fresh-from-the-shower scent is remarkable from opening to drydown. Longevity may be suspect for a Jaguar brand, because I have Jaguar Classic Black and it ends usually as a skin scent. This is far more better than Jaguar Classic Black though. After a few hours, the drydown has similar spirit with Versace Dylan Blue. Maybe this is the reason it smelled that good. Pepper, woods and patchouli. A less refined “blue” fragrance. Opens spicey sweet. As it quickly dries down, the sweetness fades and the pepper blends with the amber wood and patchouli. Darker fresh fragrance...a bolder “shower gel” fragrance. Certainly masculine. Longevity is average at best as is the projection. Value is above average as this smells OK, could be worn year round and almost every occasion and can be bought for very little. I would say this is an above average cheapie...saying that, it does nothing great.

Honestly, this smells so clean and so good for the price (i paid £8 for 60ml). Think shower gel meets pepper. This is an easy reach when getting out the shower and you wanna feel fresh and clean around the house - literally perfect for this. I love wearing this before I get into bed in fact, smells amazing. Unfortunately the longevity isn't at all impressive but you cannot complain at the price. I would recommend this scent to anyone who wants to smell fresh, clean and super pleasant. Thumbs up from me.

Yep....Its generic. Yep..... It smells like body wash. Unfortunately it sounds like some people were expecting something exotic. For the people that are normal realists..... This stuff is fantastic! If you wanna smell nice and clean....this is perfect! If you plan on going to a black-tie fancy French restaurant.....this is not for that... So to recap, this is great for smelling fresh and clean. This is not for a fancy night out. Its a keeper!! 7.5/10

The first notes are fresh and woody then settles to a old spice body wash scent with a strong pepper note at the end that is quite nice. I personally do not see myself using this fragrance as an everyday scent, but to go to the gym or out with the boys. If you want to smell like you just hopped out the shower and nothing too strong or complex, I highly recommend this fragrance. I personally prefer more complex scents so I would give this a 6/10.

You can't go wrong with this fragrance, I mean we all need some fresh out of the shower fragrance in our collection, And jaguar pace is a no brainer for this price. smells so refreshing and uplifting, it smells like an aftershave but an expensive aftershave and girls do like it. It gave me a good amount of compliments and it also lasts 6 hours on my skin and that's what I all need for this type of scents. Thanks jeremy for this fragrance

Very typical scent... you're not going to impress anyone by wearing this. Having said that, still one of my most sprayed fragrances!!! Why? It smells like you just had a shower and used the best smelling shampoo (for men) ever! So I just use it in home after I get back from work because it smells clean, good and fresh! Soft Soft projection and never offensive! perfect for a day you're home. just to feel fresh and clean

Smells like a clean fresh and masculine shower gel. Easily the best overall scent from Jaguar. I primarily use this as a gym scent, since it is cheap, and wont offend anyone. It is a synthetic scent, nothing super classy about it. But for casual wear this is a winner. Performance is surprisingly good for a cheapy. Average longevity and projection. Pick this up at discounters for a bargain. Great vlaue.

This is priced $20 for a reason. It’s not niche nor trying to be something it’s not. It’s a nice body wash, blue fresh, with some pepper and with hints of herbal notes. It’s non-offensive, easy grab, gym, casual, and office scent. I personally like it and I am wearing it in the office today. It projects well for about an hour and lasts about 4-6 hours, and for the price it is justified.

A clean soap fragrance that won't offend anyone. Good for situations where you might worry about how people will react to a bold fragrance, like job interviews or meetings with clients. I asked my wife what she thought it smelled like and she said "cologne". I get what she was saying. It checks every fragrance box with a "meets expectations", and that's not a bad thing sometimes.

It smells somewhat similar to Sauvage on my skin, anyone noticed this? I pick up black pepper, lavender, patchouli a lot I guess...which are also present in Sauvage..probably that's why! I'm a Sauvage DNA lover and it seems to be a pretty good cheap alternative for everyday use incase you love the peppery freshness from Sauvage and want to save your Sauvage for main events only.

For the money, this is a great clean scent. As most have said, doesn't last super long and is a bit synthetic but its great to keep in the office drawer to refresh yourself after a long day and you want to grab a quick bite or drink. You won't blow doors off or drop any panties but its great bang for the buck. Doubt you'll get negative comments.

I think this is a great buy for someone who wants a cheap, clean, fresh fragrance. The scent is very suitable for a variety of environments and for warmer weather. Personally I found the performance and projection to be a little weak, however that can change person to person and to be expected on a cheaper scent.

If you want the vibe of Dolce & Gabbana K on the cheap, this is your fragrance. Nothing mind blowing but nice, An easy grab and go type of fragrance non offensive, pleasant overall it’s nice. On my skin Projection is about 1 hour to 1/5, longevity it’s about 5 to 6 hours.

Sorry guys, but to me this smells very cheap, like a 2$ spray deodorant, with under average performance. Even though it is cheap, I would rather go and buy a zara fragrance with that money. I had a 10 ml decant which I used on my clothes in the closet.

If you wanna smell like you just stepped right out of the shower with some exotic pepper appeal and there is nothing wrong with that ;) I recommend getting this for sure, plus you can't go wrong with the price 8/10 for me

Great Gym scent. Smells good but performance is suuuuuuper weak. Lasts on me about 30 minutes and it's gone. And that's spraying about 10 times on skin and clothes. Can't get this shit to stick. But it does smell nice.

Mossy-peppery-herbal and a bit dark. Not the usual blue frag and performance is 5 hours on my skin. I like it and use it sparingly. Best fit for an under 30's guy or a gym frag if you must use one.

Great cheapie, may be a bit basic for some but it's got that nice manly deodorant feel to it. Performance is just ok but if a girl smells this on you she will definitely compliment it.

This one is so close to boss bottled night, the same lavender and iris/violet combo, I wonder how no one mention this similarity which is so obvious.

It smells like you just left the shower. Nothing fancy or attractive. Still I love it for that, I use it for gym or whenever I wan't to smell clean.

Versatile affordable and nice scent. Nothing special but also not a single negative thing to say about it. I like it.

This reminds me of the rosemary heart of L'eau Bleue d'Issey with the iris/lavender floral semi-powderiness of a designer GIT clone, but with an extra hit of lavender. Which would be just fine were it not for something a bit hot and muddled at its heart -- an out of place amber(amberwood?)/almost canned pineapple-ish note that really doesn't bring much to the game. Sillage is definitely better smelling than up close, but it does balance out over time into something that is fairly clean and pleasant. Performance? Who cares? It's a cheapish blue-green type freshie, and as such, it's best to moderate expectations and simply enjoy the scent if that's your jam. You can do worse for smelling good on a budget.

It's just ok. I keep it in the bathroom and reach for it sometimes in the fall/winter after a shower. I don't hate it but I don't love it either... it's kinda forgettable. However, my wife did compliment me on it once but she quickly added "just don't use too much". It's mostly a peppery shower gel kind of smell but there is something that I find odd about it (I seem to notice it more in hot, more humid weather)... on drydown, there is a faint smell that reminds me of fish food (those multicolored flakes) you sprinkle into an aquarium. When I fixate on it, I think of giving the bottle away. However, in winter and cold weather, it smells much fresher.
