Bubblegum Chic

Blast of intense SWEET tuberose coupled with the sweet tropical Pikake flower or Jasmine Sambac! I LOVE LOVE IT! Will be needing a full bottle of this pricey business. my review from the forum: BubbleGum Chic - Love the name btw. Really sweet tuberose and pikake (jasmine sambac). To me, it does not quite meet the bubble gum note. It is more floral. It is really amazing. It kind of reminds be of a sweet bubblegum, but its totally tuberose. There is a review below that says a floral bubblegum - ok yes. BubbleGum Chic - while sweet it is very floral. Good strong projection. Not too heady, really wearable and a yummy tuberose. Dry down is even more a sweet bubblegum like scent. Beyond Love - It is a bit similar, especially the opening, however BL is creamier, more fleshy, greener, the main accords last a wee bit longer. a lovely but muted coconut comes out in the dry down. (I happened to have Beyond Love - so added it as a reference) It also reminds me of TerraNova Pikake and other purely sweet pikake scents. However, Bubblegum Chic has none of the heady cloying parts of tuberose or the pikake - just the candy like sweetness. I think BubbleGum Chic is really amazing. Especially if you like sweeter tuberose scents. Not really a childish candy scent, yet it is sweet and does kind of have a bubblegum like scent to it - name is totally apropos.

The pink bubblegum note is immediate, strong and sadly, very fleeting. The tuberose and jasmine take over for quite some time with occasional whiffs of that yummy sweet bubblegum note, but it is such a tease as it never projects or returns as it did in the initial maybe 5-10 minutes. The warmer notes of dried fruit and musk join the party last and yet the musk/fruit blend still isn't as strong or distinctive as I'd like. Overall, the scent is lovely and delicious, and if I'm complaining about anything here it's that I want it to project more, and last longer so I can really sink into and prolong all day that delicious pink bubblegum-floral-jammy fruit-musk journey. I don't know if 'chic' means very light and barely there and very expensive but that is the end result. Not a buy for me which is too bad as I generally love this scent. + Edit; I found a friend who owned a bottle and sprayed it. The sample I had was tiny, and from Lucky Scent. It didn't have a spray nozzle on it so I had to kind of 'drip' it onto my skin. After getting a couple of full sprays of this perfume the longevity and sillage is a lot bigger/stronger than I realized. I've now bought and started wearing this perfume and it is easily in my top 3 favorites.

This isn't an ambiguously sweet vanilla-bomb that many people mistake for calling "bubblegum" scented. This also isn't an overly sugary teenage type scent that people might call "bubblegum." It's a very realistic and complex floral despite having such a short list of notes. This is literally the softly spiced and mentholated sweetness of pink bubblegum in the opening and smooth, creamy yellow chewing gum in the drydown. I've been searching high and low for something that resembles classic pink bubblegum and this is it! Vintage bubblegum flavor was commonly made with Wintergreen, orange oil, cinnamon, cassis and vanilla. Somehow the super realistic Sambac Jasmine in the opening resembles this sweetly spiced melange. I suspect it is the Tuberose giving it the mintiness and creaminess in the drydown. The mentholated characteristic reminds me of Serge Lutens Tubereuse Criminelle but without the rubbery band-aid. This has strong sillage on me and makes me very happy. :)

It’s your birthday, you’re rich and you're sitting in a black shiny Jaguar E type car, waiting on your husband. You dig into your unorganized patent croc Birkin. You find a pink unwrapped bubble gum at the bottom stuck to a hundred dollar bill. It’s slightly stiff and who knows how long it’s been there soaking up the aromas from the plethora of items you carry. You pop it in your mouth and recognized the taste of your uncapped Serge Luten’s lipstick, cash, the plastic of the car key remote, American Express cards and a slight taste of the Le Labo Lys 41 from the travel size bottle. You smile as you husband returns with a Cartier gift box for you. Delusional thoughts: I’m not rich but this perfume makes me feel like I am. 😂 Love the bottle. There’s a burnt rubber tinge in there that will scare basic girls away and that’s how I like it; so if you can’t handle that rubber note, you can try Sears. Huele rico y a rico.

Amazing!!!! It's a huge tuberose fragrance but somehow it really does manage to smell like bubblegum! Imagine chewing on a giant, juicy wad of Bazooka Joe, yet it's all floral at the same time. It's such an interesting perfume because if you think about flowers, it smells like tuberose and jasmine, but if you think about pink bubblegum, it's definitely there. I am a gourmand lover and I don't tend to go for overly floral perfumes, but the fruitiness and yumminess of this delicious extrait just can't be overlooked and I find it to be such a unique scent that it must be appreciated! I also love how concentrated it is. One drop and you're good to go! It's quite expensive, but I think my sample will last a LONG time. If you like bubblegum, or another take on tuberose, please at least give it a try! And for the posters looking for it, Surrender to Chance has samples, and I believe Lucky Scent might as well.

Bubblegum Chic is my favorite from Heeley. Creamy tuberose is blended with the subtle scent of fruity pink bubblegum. I am not a big fan of tuberose, but luckily for me it dries down into a sweet and intoxicating white jasmine. In my mind, this perfume completely represents LA and Orange County. It's glitzy, girly, fun, gilded, expensive, and somehow has a superficial aura about it. The pink bubblegum and loud white florals seem obnoxious, yet they are addictive at the exact same time. This could have been Malibu Barbie's perfume or could be the signature of any one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Bubblegum Chic is not a wallflower. It begs to be noticed. Edit 5/27/15: Now that I have the full bottle and can spray, the bubblegum is even more prominent. I am obsessed with this girly gem! Dabbed from the vial, I did not get the atomic sillage and longevity, so I am very pleased to own it.

I was on the search for jasmine but what i got here was Fracas without its green part. In the opening there is strong metallic note which either comes from jasmine or musks, but i could not feel jasmine until few hours into it :) there is so much of tuberose, and i like it because for me this is improved version of Fracas :) very long lasting. this must be the best tuberose scent out there next to Chinatown (which is more refined ), but i was looking for jasmine :)..it was here all the time but masked by bannana lol. basically it is mistake to focus on tuberose, its banana and jasmine...its amazing but also not that strong longlasting as i initially thought, but on fabrics its lasts 2 days. the best from this house:) P.S. the package and the bottle is outsanding. i love this house! and i love the scent every day more and more..it smells fantastic on fabric!! got compliments

This is the epitome of my personality, or at least what I want to be perceived like .) Feminine but not sweet, expensive taste with a tendency towards tacky shizzle now and then: because fun has to be good at the end. And this is all good, my Bubblegum Chic. Always mix between a parisian chic and american chick pronouncation because that's exactly how this scent works: classy jasmine from a high end extract heats up from time to time to a weird plastic bubblegum balloon, jeff koons grin. It warms my personality and stays till the next day. Around the neck it chokes me bad, there it shows its sticky character. But that's alright this savage lady is really enjoyable from a little distance. My Signature!

This is nuclear white florals, an atomic bomb of tuberose that goes off with such a loud explosion that it leaves your nose ringing like the nasal equivalent of tinnitus. This perfume demands "LOOK AT ME!!!" whilst on your skin and acting like an spoilt, rich, bratty girl who's desperate for attention. She's repeatedly blowing bubblegum bubbles right in your face and laughing every time they expand then burst. you get a hit of that sweet synthetic bubblegum aroma each time they pop and it's so enjoyable that you forgive the obnoxiousness and think, actually, this is O so chic! A classy, trashy, floral, synthetic, sweet joy. I feel amazing wearing this when I'm in the right mood.

You know this a beautiful tuberose centric fragrance . It is sweet , natural smelling, and rich. An intoxicating white floral. From my point of view I trust this Ja,es Heeley to understand his palettes probably there are several blow your socks off tuberose centric fumes out there; and what do you do when you are directing, risking, a passionate lover of perfume and balls to the wall. This is a stunning sweet, lolly nuanced heady and rich fume. There is a gorgeous and somewhat unexpected rich vanillin drydown . Oh gosh no... I cannot add another delirious tropical floral to my ridiculous collection nonono...there is nothing 'chic' about this, it is sex on steroids...

Find me a more perfectly conceived fragrance, I dare you! My love for tuberose is no secret, and this one is so brash, good humoured and loud, it makes Fracas look restrained! The mentholy, fruity aspects are dialled up to 11, and behind the cacophony lies a distinguished, expensive white floral smirking at the marasma of Hubba Bubba, banana peel, metal shavings and Vicks Vaporub. A rare instance of a worthwhile price tag, since this thing maintains its uproarious composure for a looong time and radiates to the moon. A new favourite along with Florabotanica in the category of weird, dadaist and, indeed, chic florals.

When I read "bubblegum chic", I recon pink, bubbles and bubblegum flavor. It doesn't really correspond to a black flacon and White florals perfume Group :) The first time I sampled it, I felt that Bubblegum chic was a bubblegum scent for grown-ups. Something like a more adult version of Aquolinas pink sugar. But then I realized the Beauty of tuberose in Bubblegum Chic. If you are a tuberose lover, you will definitely need to at least try this on. Yes, it is a massive Heavy tuberose/jasmin combination, but hell, so unique. I also get this "juicy fruit" vibe, and I don't mind. Average longevity, 5h. Nice projection.

To me this is an absolutely wearable Jasmine and Tuberose fragrance. I have a very hard time with the likes of Fracas and FM Carnal Flower, they are too much, to loud, to animalic. There is sort of a twist to this one that takes out the animalic aspect a bit. In a weird but addictive sort of way I do get a little hint of bubblegum, so the name Bubblegum Chic is not weird at all. I think if you are scared of big screaming Tuberose and Jasmine scents this one maybe the answer for you. Easy spritz finger on this one will help you appreciate the scent even more. Less is more.....just saying.

Ohhh, I love this, such a fun scent. Pretty loud and synthetic, but that’s what it was intended to be I think. A very sweet, sticky banana tuberose, rounded and creamy. I think it can be a pleaser both for lovers of white florals and sweet fragrances and it’s a tuberose that doesn’t intimidate, so perhaps it’s a good one to approach by who is just getting acquainted to this beautiful and versatile flower. Sillage is on the stronger side, but not a beast, and longevity is around 5-6 hours on my skin.

Perfect! I love it! Oh it is so much fun - tuberose bubblegum. My goodness. It's so gorgeous. I love it! I love it!! And I'm the same as you mrsg34; I find tuberose sometimes a bit difficult, but not in Bubblegum Chic. It's beautiful. I love the name too, it's so sweet. I love the fabulous bottle! So macho looking: solid, heavy, black. I love all the contradictions of this gem. I love that it's so strong, and lasts so long. I love that it's just gorgeous. It's absolutely fabulous!!!

I totally LOVE this perfume! Its a chewy, bubblegum, creamy tuberose that has that lovely wintergreen kind of smell to it. Its strong but not overpowering, its moreish and fun to wear. The longevity is fantastic and as long as you dont overspray this is a dream to wear. I enjoy other tuberose dominant scents such as carnal flower and narcotic venus but struggled with the likes of fracas or truth or dare, but this is beautiful.

I wish this leaned every so slightly more towards bubblegum, more into the banana/vanilla/fruit/citrus. It would be magical. It is lovely and feminine but leaves me wanting something more. Its big tuberose and loses me on the dry down. Ok im back to update this because ive fallen in love and ordered a full bottle. Cant stop smelling my wrist this is just delightful.

I really like this. It smells sort of trashy but expensive in a good way. It does indeed have a bubble gum vibe about it. It's very heavy on the tuberose, backed up by jasmine and it's the fruity notes which give it the candy note, almost like artificial banana sweets. It has good longevity and silage. I like to wear it on summer evenings out.

I find this to be all about the jasmine, heady, loud, white flowers sweetened with banana and sweet red strawberries. It's a fun and frivolous thing, a happy fragrance for sipping cocktails in, partying in and playing in. It lingers well and leaves a good trail, radiating well but not stifling. It smells chic and modern and fun.

This fragrance made me laugh. This is just 100% pure orange county bimbo trophy wife. As a native Californian, this is just great. The tuberose bubblegum is completely bold, unashamed, a little plastic with musk and completely ridiculous over the top fabulous fun! I think I need it for a spray of cheer.

I am usually an oriental and gourmand can, but I bought a sample and I am hooked. It starts off very floral and fades to a yummy sweet classic bubblegum scent. Of course, the fragrance I would like the most lately would be expensive... Just my luck.

Unironically a diva scent, super nice fruity bubblegum texture mixed with jasmine, musk etc. I love this scent and even as I feel it’s feminine in nature; I still am in dire need for a bottle.

Bubblegum Chic is so much fun to wear. Non indolic jasmine sambac and tuberose. I love this. Nothing artificial smelling,, very uplifting.

Nope, sorry, not for me. The idea of this fragrance excited me and I was looking forward to testing it out. I will admit, some of the reviews had me apprehensive that I wouldn't like it. Unfortunately, they were right. I can see how some would love this scent. It is a work of art, for sure. I didn't find that the notes blended together well. I am guessing that juxtaposition was intentional. I absolutely adore the bubblegum note in this. It is heavenly! I didn't want this to be a sweet fluffy bubblegum and it is not, but I was hoping for something that I would enjoy wearing. I can't get past the plastic chemical smell. It was jarring to my nose and interrupted the pleasure of smelling the bubblegum note each and every time. I think this fragrance definitely deserves a flanker or two that create different interpretations of bubblegum in a sophisticated presentation. This was my first test from the Heeley house and I'm going to try a few more because I respect the artistry that went into this and hope that they expand this fragrance. UPDATE: I tried this again- on my skin this time. What a difference! That chemical note is much more subdued on my skin and that's when the bubblegum starts to sing. I love this so much more! It's always good to give fragrances a second chance...

First this was called Bubblegum Chic, now it's called Jasmine OD. My recently aquired sample still says Bubblegum Chic. I find the first name more fitting. It does smell like a chic version of bubble gum, just not a literal interpretation like for example a bubble gum flavored lip balm would be. Tuberose and jasmine are both overdosed, tuberose even more so though, so it's funny they decided to call it Jasmine OD. This fragrance showcases the fruitiest, sweetest, bubbliest facets of the flowers, but also a little of their sharpness. Weirdly I get undertones of cloves and multi fruit juice. It's not a naturalistic flower scent. There is also no powder in this, no greens, nothing musty, no buttery note, and only a very understated creamy oiliness. But it's still more multifaceted than expected in its floral sweetness. I think I would have loved this more if I tried it a few years ago. Nowadays I have smelled many bubblegummy florals and don't need another super-sweet tuberose in my life. But if you do, try this, it's smells just like it should.

This for sure is bubble gum meets grape cough syrups, with jasmine florals in the back. At first it smelled really bad, as I hate anything grape like smelling or flavored and it def gave that vibe, mixed with the heady bubblegum I could see me spraying too much and feeling nauseous if I hadn’t eaten that day. After an hour it started to fade into a much more pleasant scent and wearable frag. It’s unique for sure, and will need to try it a few more times to see if it’s for me. I don’t know much by heeley, this one and the coconut one are the only two that are on my try before buy, but haven’t ordered a sample of the coconut one yet. I didn’t like that this faded so quick, for the high price point, I would expect better longevity. I didn’t put on too much though, so the outcome another day will hopefully be different. The jasmine smells beautiful and luxe, but unfortunately is overpowered by the grape juice/ grape bubble gum notes that cling to it, and isn’t appreciated until the other scents fade.

Amusing, fast-evolving perfume that goes from bubblegum to chic in the blink of an eye. Opens with massive tuberose, a will it/won't it sweet to rubbery tuberose that that smells like flowers and hard sauce, the kind with alcohol in it, not the kids' table kind. It's buttery and silky despite the chemical edge. When the flambe edge wears off and the fruitiness comes out, son of a gun, it actually does smell like bubblegum, a girl with cats' eye makeup snapping her gum at you as she texts at warp speed, on her way to a party you'll never get into. Then the fruit changes to something more like gardenia and BC ends up as a very nice and refined tuberose/gardenia perfume. Very short-lived but so entertaining it's entirely worth sampling.

This is crazy stuff a concentrated effort in perfumery to evoke quite a sickly and (I suspect) acquired taste of a smell. It really does smell like bubblegum folks...the opening is quite the sweet shop explosion! It'll have you wondering 'where does the Chic come into this equation?' Well I'll tell you.... the synthetic smelling candy sweetness then becomes positively identifiable as tuberose and jasmine in a strong concentration which at first comes across undilute and chemical but then changes to naturally floral. This balance is maintained but flip flops back n forth. I like this kind of white floral but there's no chance I'd ever wear it.

A very powerful bright jasmine/tuberose bubblegum fragrance. One spritz will easily do you for the whole day or night. It is pretty piecing so fellow migraine sufferers test with caution. I think 'intoxicating' sums it up very well. My only concern is that the tuberose does smell a bit artificial and a bit like an air freshener so I can only stretch to a like. I'm another who has an issue with the tuberose note. I guess the sweet notes and musk make it more accessible. It's not candy sweet so don't worry. A very feminine fragrance. A big sillage and good longevity.

Bubblegum Chic at first spray is similar to Juicy Fruit gum. I detect notes of bananas, pineapples, and citrus. The heart phase is that of a musky, fleshy, full-bodied tuberose. It's similar to MojoMajique Belle, another lovely white floral. Sillage was moderate on me and it stayed on my skin for around 6 hours before completely fading away. Recommended for those who are looking for a summery, fruity, youthful tuberose that leaves a fresh trail.

I thought I'd revisit this one as I have a few sprays remaining in my sample. It's a beautiful sweet blend of jasmine and tuberose. It smells sweet, narcotic, and mentholated especially in the opening. It's a modern take on gorgeous white florals. I'll never get tired of sampling white floral fragrances. This one is lovely and worth sampling. -

This perfume has been on my "want" list forever. I decided to pull the trigger once I heard of the name change..I'm hoping to get the original bottle for my collection. The name was cute and very fitting. This actually smells like bubblegum, but in a grown-up, classy way.

Oh My Lord! This is very very strong and what an impressive oppening! It smells just like bubblegum and then changes in a few minutes in the most divine and fine jasmin scent! I like it a lot,but it wouldn't be for me to wear! Very very flowery- beautiful scent!

Has the beautiful blooming jasmine of al rehab full but taken a step further. Its camphorus and neon sweet with a thick rubber tuberose underneath it all. I like it but feel like it may bother me after a while of wearing it or even bother others.

Simpatic and very long lasting fragrance for young people. Ideal for summer evenings but not for gala evenings.

Apologies and advance warning for the negative review, but I find this scent to be completely foul. It's not the bubblegum (I purchased based on the notes and reviews), nor is it the florals (I enjoy jasmine and am a big tuberose fan). It's that overpowering naphthalene-like chemical blast in the opening which totally ruins the fragrance for me. It does settle down after a while but never completely dissipates. Generally, I find about 60% of fine fragrances to be ok or better, 5% to be exceptional, and another 35% to be unlikeable or worse. This one, unfortunately, falls into the "worse" category for me (particularly the opening), as I personally find anything even slightly reminiscent of moth-ball odor to be revolting. This was the first time a fragrance had me literally running to the sink to scrub. I will add that the lasting power of Bubblegum Chic seems good, and as I have found strong projection and longevity to be lacking in many of the niche fragrances, I would definitely recommend if the scent were more pleasant. Edit: Montale's Intense Tiare may be a nice alternative (not as bubble-gum-like, but very similar, IMO).

Blind-purchased this at a very expensive price point. I'm forcing myself to move away from the very expensive Amouage "Love Tuberose," which I adore and use in massive quantities. Heeley "Bubblegum Chic" isn't inexpensive. But from all I read, I thought 1) the notes would lean in a different direction from all other tuberose-centric fragrances I've tried and/or own, and 2) based on the notes and reviews, I'd love the perfume. I really DETEST this stuff. I've never rated perfume a "hate" because it's difficult for me to feel hate towards a fragrance. But this stuff comes close. Awful. A synthetic mess of florals and chemicals. The opening is cloying and the perfume is poorly blended. Just going to sell my full bottle (minus a few sprays) at a loss. For me, this is a disastrous blind-buy.

Neon pink candy bubblegum tuberose, I hate it personally and I don’t get why they changed the name to Jasmine OD. Here is the description "The natural scent of Jasmine on a warm summer night is an ephemeral, fleeting scent. The aim here was to try to capture and enhance its intensity and longevity without altering its natural beauty. The result is an over dose of jasmine absolute and tuberose give this scent underlying accents of fruit. Intense, intoxicating and terribly pretty" and it’s the most innacurate description of a fragrance I’ve seen. If you’re looking for a natural jasmine this is not it.

Promising opening ... I was told by the SA there was incense in this one and to me it smelled like it as well (although the notes won't justify that now)...like incense & raspberries. So back then I thought this was edgy but soon the honeymoon was over (about 30-40 mins after putting on) and I ended up wearing a bland and slightly synthetic mess. Too bad. I guess I'm glad here that it did not stay for more than 2 hours (a bit poor for an extrait de parfum)but then I guess that is good when it came to me.

This is everything I don't like about certain tuberose fragrances. It somehow manages to smell camphorus and like blue cheese and urinal cakes all at the same time. I usually can only smell one of those in a tuberose I don't like, but this one has it all. My husband thinks it smells like the sweet smell of a rotting bouquet as well. However, I will say the strong resemblance to pink bubblegum in the first seconds was fun. After this, it's awful!

I had high hopes for this fragrance but was sadly disappointed. For some reason, I can't smell the bubblegum here and it's just too greasy for me.. I can't even get the fruits and I get nausea every time I smell this. Wish I knew what everyone else gets in this scent!

Why why is this called bubblegum as this isn't a bubblegum smell. A dry slightly powdery (floral) sweet smell that doesn't remind me of any bubblegum. There are much more bubblegummy scents out there without the name bubblegum.

Want to smell like a bubblegum-chewing Barbie? This one got you covered. The only reason I know about this fragrance is because a girl I dated wore this. At least she wasn't wearing Lady Gaga perfume.

I can appreciate the perfume even if it is not my style or even if I would never wear it however this creation...I don`t mean to offend anyone - but I don`t think I have previously hated any perfume but this one makes me feel nauseous. Don`t be mislead this has nothing to do with bubble gum (which I like as its playful and fun). This is sickly white flowers in combination that it really hard to "digest".

I rarely go that far to say I hate a perfume, yet this is one of the very few for me that I do wholeheartedly do hate. No offence to those who enjoy this, this just goes to show how differently we all perceive things.

Bubblegum Chic knocked me down. Between the "inspirational words" I read "pink", "extrait de glamour", "passion", "lips", "appetite", "fatale"...I'm loosing my patience. Bubblegum Chic is clearly marketed as feminine and my point is this: how is it possible in 2011 to use such trite commonplaces to describe a feminine fragrance? Please someone tell me. It looks like Mr Heeley committed the writing of the presentation of his new fragrances to the cast of "Sweet Sixteen". Not to talk about the fragrance that is a boring tuberose / jasmine composition with an exasperating fruity-bubbllegum effect. As per Agarwoud you can have plenty of better options at any price if you want a tuberose centered composition (Tubereuse Criminelle, Carnal Flower, Giorgio Beverly Hills, Histoires De Parfums Tubereuse 1 and 3, Fracas, First, Madame Rochas... to name a few).
