Oranges and Lemons Say The Bells of St. Clements

The opening is stunning, full of petitgrain, citruses then when it settles a little the deep dry nature of vetiver and tea with maybe a hint of ginger. All the while at the back of this is a white floral note which is the unmistakably soapy texture of neroli. All these elements to me give this scent has a Mediterranean feel and the drydown becomes dominated by neroli and petitgrain. What I like about this fragrance is the strength and projection in the first couple of hours, if you like things like neroli portofino or Mugler Cologne this is a scent with some considerable power and pretty good longevity worth looking at. I for one am not so fond of neroli and it's dominant here, my summary of the first fragrance I've tried from this house is not bad at all.

This is a masterpiece. I mentioned it on the forum I believe. It's simply, fresh citrus, orange on the start and afterwards it is lovely, give it 20 mins more or less. Is it similar to anything else? Yes, imagine Hermes's d'Terre, but much better, bitter and more masculine. Last but not least, you REALLY need to try other scents from the brit, like; Sel Marine and Cardinal which are masterpieces too. Down side is the price, BUT these Heeley's frags are really "hard to find" and are EDPs too. It's guaranteed that maybe 1 in 10,000 will smell like you, if you live in a big city of course:)

This is such a good orangey citrus fragrance..I kept coming back to my little sample..this is to my nose the most wonderful, deep, woody unique orange citrus I ve ever smelled. The vetiver and the ylang gave it some depth and it has a slightly bitterness to it with is just delicicious. I am not normally a fan of citrus related fragrances but this is love at first, second and 100th sniff:)

It opens with a blast of citrus, like pressing your nose into a freshly peeled tangerine: sharp, bitter, sweet, dry, resinous, all at once. After a while, it softens, becoming sweeter, somewhere between the juicy pulp and the dry, crystallised peel, with a hint of cinnamon stick. It leaves a lightly powdery feel on the skin. Lasts barely any time on me, maybe around two hours.

A fresh, zingy opening of oranges and lemons, this definitely lives up to its name. Perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter, like whole unpeeled fruits tossed in a blender, lying on a bed of soft clean musk with a crisp green backing. Dries down to that clean musky neroli and green, slightly earthy vetiver. Soft projection for 2-3hr, longevity 5-6hr.
