Jane's Garden Early Morning

A very green, citrusy, lily-of-the-valley dominant perfume. Very fresh and perfect for spring. It smells like fresh-cut grass and citrus groves. I pick up a very light rose, not sweet and syrupy but a fresh, realistic rose that accentuates the lily of the valley. I don’t get jasmine at all. The musk is a white musk that blends well with the green, citrus aspects. This is clean and fresh, no sweetness at all; 100% unisex.

This is a soft woody floral scent. At first I smell a green-rose mixed with what seems like fresh cut flowers, the dry down does turn slightly woody but with the fresh flowers subtly in the background. I am not usually one to reach for floral fragrances and I tend to layer all my perfumes with a musk. This is one of the first florals to lure me in - Softly with a whisper....

Blind buy because the price tag was irresistible and green and floral notes sounded promising. Turned out to be sharp sour aromatic green, not the leafy stem green I typically like. A little bit dated smelling perfume on mature-ish side in my opinion. With my body chemistry I keep smelling sour notes all day and it puts me in a sour mood so I do avoid wearing it.
