Eiderantler

This fragrance turned out to be a big surprise to me. When I received the material from January Scent Project and read the descriptions in the attached cards, I confess that I was worried about the "Ivy Fougère" classification given by the creator. Particularly, I like good fougères, especially those with the 80's style. However, judging by the green color of the juice and the description, I thought it could be something I had already felt at some point in the past. To my surprise, Eiderantler proved to be extremely modern, as well as being the most versatile among the three Eaux de Parfum launched by the house. It has notes of lavender, green leaves, moss, pink pepper, lavandin, champa leaf, ivy, elemi resin, fir, hay, oak wood, cashmere, vetiver and musk. So you, who are reading this review, might be imagining various combinations and nuances and I understand you perfectly. After all, a fragrance that has notes of fir, ivy and hay should be at least different. Eiderantler is really different, but not as curious and potent as Selperniku, neither beautiful and smoky as Smolderose. It is green and sweet at the same time it is soft and woody. When sprayed on the skin, it has a strong lavender output, as if the lavender was not yet ready to be harvested. Then, floral nuances begin to appear in an aromatic and balsamic heart. Champa (or champaca) is a rarer type of magnolia with a stronger perfume. Its absolute has being explored by some perfumery houses. On my skin, it was the most ephemeral part of evolution, as if the perfume jumped from the top notes to the base notes. And this base is silky and slightly woody. On my skin, the highlight is the smell that results from the blend of the musk with the cashmeran, which gives a special touch of softness. Eiderantler is a fougère that escapes from standards, because it does not bring bergamot, always explored. Here, the perfumer preferred to highlight the lavender and the moss in a green-colored perfume that behaves like one of those with amber color. At the same time that I consider it the most versatile of the three, it was the one that presented the lower projection. However, like everything that is comfortable, Eiderantler is the one that makes you want to continue wearing it all the time.

I ordered this sample because the name intrigued me; it contained few of my favorite notes. I'm now ending my first week of sampling this (while calculating whether to get the big bottle, or risk the 3-30ml to try others. It lives up to the name, like an elusive deer that is seen then gone on high plain and disappears, only to reappear in the dapple wood, it's a scent with a shifting presence. To me the notes waxed and waned, dancing through several seasons. It wake up with a sharp ozone-green-menthol. The non-scent you get as you step outdoors on an icy cold day with the ground covered with snow and your breath billowing. It's that clean cold air with a hint of woodstove smoke to tickle. The florals of spring begin to appear and it's only after the opening the glorious green, ferns, lavender, rose, violet? I can't quite make them all out, but really, who cares just enjoy it. Early summer with first cut hay and spring violets in rich loam of dark mossy earth. Summery vetiver and amber melds into reminers of autumn. Leaves crunching underfoot and being burnt as the cycle prepares to repeat. It is a scent that seems to be a bit demanding of attention in a subtle way..by alerting your nose it has changed, so sniff again please, and I do like that. I have had a lifetime for wonderful chypres, fougeres, orientals, aquatics -- but something new, interesting, and wearable, is a delight. Eiderantler reminds me of China White in that sense of something always hidden and amorphous. Instead of China's ghostly formal floral dust; Eiderantler plays instead with floral greens and warmer cozy scents. My husband likes this on me slightly better, though he will always prefer me in the Ysatis i wore when we fell in love decades ago. Oh, and as MrMorel noted in his review, it may well have a hidden market -- I am a middle-age aunt. Not ceramics, but spin and weave, living and working in the subtropics and missing the four seasons. It's on my Christmas wish list.

Incredibly in love with this! My favorite fougere! It just took the place of TF BdJ for me (and 1725 is in 3rd place). Straight to full bottle. I actually loved the whole line up, but this is fresh, fougere cloud, herbal, and not too sharp at all. It is almost lightly powdery chocolate (maybe it is anise or licorice?) which I know sounds weird and does not take away from the freshness at all. I want to spray this every morning or could even be a before bed fresh scent as well. This is a very special scent as are the others in the line. Nothing else I've experienced quite like them. Note: I got my full bottle and it smells much sharper than the little sample I had. I believe it may just need time to macerate which has happened a few times for me when jumping from sample to bottle. Will update if it doesn't self correct over time. I guess the most beautiful things in life require patience! Update: Now a full 6 months later, it is finally smelling like it did when I first sampled it. It is still astringent and fresh, but the edges are soft, so no longer jarring, but more cloud like. Happy to say that I definitely see myself using up the 30 ml now! It's great when I need something fresh, but for any season. For me it is a good reset or under the shirt centering fragrance. It wakens the mind without being too sharp. I can see it serving many purposes. Update 2: Currently, recovering from long covid and so I have been spraying this one sometimes under my shirt. It feels like a cool, green wind in my lungs, but not in the way something artificial (air freshener, Vicks, menthol cigarettes). I do not get anything animalic at all, so I am not sure where people are getting that. Maybe the hay is conjuring up animals? Still happy I got this one as I haven't found anything that would come close to replacing it just yet, even if it isn't a daily wear for me.

Just one spritz to the inside of my wrist. Immediately I smell fresh cut lavender over a bed of tropical flowers. Champaca leaf is smelling like honeysuckle in this mix... so beautiful. I wore this yesterday and decided to wear it again today, in the middle of a cold Pacific Northwest December. I’m sure this is better in Spring but I love wearing it now. There’s a lot going on, lots of green and forest notes swimming around me. An immediate mood lifter. I received the discovery kit from the fragrantica giveaway. It’s important for me to be honest and accurate in my descriptions, and this is outstanding, Eiderantler is right up my perfume alley. I appreciate the larger sample size (3.5ml) as this gives me more time to decide if this is my next purchase. And the packaging? Expressive and unique. Love it. Edit: I was only around two people yesterday, and both complimented me on this perfume. So noticeable even after several hours of wearing.

Sometimes you can tell the difference in which the perfumer is rushed to finish a project vs. taking his time to create something 100% unique and invigorating. This falls into the latter category. This is by no mistake a green scent but it has subtle nuances in which puts it in a different category. It has that spring forest element that captures most wearers but dries down with aspects of vetiver,elemi and pepper with a slightly boozy touch from the oak. It's a green/woody/resinous delight that should have gotten more hype than it did. It is very wearable and not strange in which most niche houses fail to due. From my first sampling I got above average sillage and longevity. Priced at $125 for 100 ml is a better deal than Kerosene, Imaginary Authors and more noticeable US Indie/Niche houses.

I love this stuff. Sharp, bracing, confident, and unique. It is extremely green; try to be ready for it. It’s different enough that you don’t have to worry about a big silage (in fact, you might not want that with this one). Longevity is good but I still like to add a refresher spray or two at midday. When to wear: Early spring. The greenness and the life this brings will reinforce those days when you hope winter is passing. Rainy summer days/nights. It has to be low humidity; too high and the scent tends to get a little overbearing. Bright winter days. Yep, I’m serious. Take one of those happy, very cold, very sunny winter days and put this on in place of your winter warmer. The bracing of the green and the bracing of the cold will mix well and heighten your spirits.

Absolutely gorgeous! I ordered a sample set based on a review of Smolderose I read, and from the listed notes I thought that would be the one I liked the most in the set. Smolderose is good, but Eiderantler is simply stunning. I'm not normally a lavender lover, but in this the lavender is summery and fresh. The spice note isn't a sharp or bitter note, it adds a gentle warmth. It's a natural outdoorsy scent. I hate to use the term 'mossy' as that has connotations of damp and dank undergrowth, but this fragrance reminds me of lying on my back in a meadow enjoying the spring sunshine. This is spring, new growth, flowers opening in the warmth and birds tweeting. The drydown is soft and gentle, a little powdery. Definitely full bottle worthy-I'm off shopping!

I was very surprised by how much I love this! I received my sample, my first try in this line of fragrances. And the lavender just jumped up and smacked me across the face, not hard but like the fingers of a leather glove. Smooth, fragrant and green...it smells very rich, for a green scent. Full bodied and cool. As it ages, the greenness fades into the smell of a soft cashmere sweater. On my skin it becomes intimate rather quickly but I still love the smell so much ..I know I will be popping for an FB regardless.. It's probably the lavender, but I find this scent rather comforting. Unlike many of the scents I wear, this one I could wear to bed and feel lulled off to happy dreams.

How have I not reviewed this yet? It is my newest love and I've been wearing a lot of it since I broke my arm and needed some comfy healing lavender. When I ordered the January scent sampler I didn't really have high hopes for this one. I figured fougere would mean muddy blend of fragrances that screams masculinity. That is not this scent. This scent is lavender brightened by hay and made creamy by elemi resting upon greens like ivy and pine. There are scents that are difficult to identify but nothing that could be described as muddy or perfumey. This gets complements and has some silliage. It is wonderful.

I really adore this fragrance. I got samples of the original three JSP fragrances plus the Smolderose oil back when it was ridiculously inexpensive to do so and Eiderantler has definitely become by favorite. Initially it just seemed like a fresher, lavender-based version of a fragrance I already had. Upon more wears and wearing it in springtime instead of winter weather, I fell in love. This, to me, is spring in a bottle. It lasts well without being too loud or too quiet for my tastes. The main four notes I get are elemi, lavender, fir, and a less specific green.

Unique forest magic! Springs from pure perfume imagination and creativity. The balsam fir is very similar to the one used in Baccarat Rouge 540 - a sweet candied resin that weeps from the stems, as opposed to the sap. Combining it with other forest elements like moss and ivy brings out facets of green enchantment. Lavender and elemi are soft touches that add to the brightness. Eiderantler is a spring green, fresh aroma that reminds me of mossy glades dappled with mote filled sunlight. The realm of dryads and nymphs!

Eiderantler is the first bottle of perfume that I have owned and the first bottle of perfume that my wife bought me. A very special fragrance for me and a favorite! The lavender is incredible in this: it is GREEN, foremost, but juicy and powdery too. It is a mysterious scent for being such a familiar accord. This could easily be a daily scent but the longevity is unfortunately weak. Two or three hours is enough to dispel the green magic away. (Fortunately January Scent Project prices its perfumes so generously!)

Eiderantler: what a perfect name. Imagine the texture of the soft warm fuzzy skin growing on springtime antlers. This fragrance lives up to that. It is SO very soft and creamy, a musky, powdery, cashmere-y greenish balsamic floral, with restraint. I find it rather milky too. It's like a fuzzy spring blanket, smooth as rabbit fur, cuddly and slightly green. It reads as feminine to me, almost a turn of the century silky-powdery-lace feminine. So very lovely.

goes on slight citrus, herbal and massive vetiver; as it dries down, you get this ambery champaca and elemi with a musky animalic note. Very interesting. In the final drydown it is amber amber amber.

Green! Like... ULTRA Green. This is probably the most mainstream fragrance from JSP, because at the end of the day this is a green ivy fougère. Granted, it's a super nice, complex, niche quality, and nose piercingly green ivy fougère, but a fougère all the same. The biggest comparison that I can give to this fragrance is something along the lines of a mix between a classical fougère meets "The Soft Lawn" by Imaginary Authors except the longevity and sillage are ramped up x20. It starts out with this really green and pepper-y lavender that in my opinion, is a really refreshing take on lavender that I haven't really smelled before. It's as if John got the aroma chemicals not from just the buds of flowers, but from mostly the stem and only a hint of the flowers. This part of the fragrance is STRONG, and probably the part that I can see people disliking the most. I personally really like it as it is a refreshing take on the exhausted note that is lavender, but I would give it the 20 or so minutes those top notes need to die down to the main notes before deciding to scrub or not if you dislike it. Then as it settles down I get a healthy dose of ivy, moss, and elemi resin. The ivy providing a nice, fresh, and green intro while moss provides it some depth and the elemi resin sweetens it just a tad. The champaca and fir notes are there if you smell for them hard enough, but I think they are here to support those 3 main player listed previously. Then as it finally dries down, it becomes this really smooth and woody base that would be hard for anyone to dislike. Overall? This is a tough contender for my favorite green fragrance, but only time will tell whether or not I get a bottle of the stuff. I have so much I want to buy and such little funds that it might be awhile before I pull the trigger on this one. Do I think you should still try this out if you're at all into green? YES! It's super refreshing and dewy, and probably the easiest scent for someone who's more used to mainstream fragrances to get into if they are at all interested in January Scent Project. Overall another banger by John (who rarely misses besides Selperniku), and probably another buy for my collection after I drain my bottle of the soft lawn.

I laughed out loud at mrmorel's review... because when pondering JSP's target audience he 100% nailed me! I am quite literally the middle aged, non-elegant ceramicist aunt- (professional potter, actually), and I fell for several of JSP's unique offerings. I'll leave the detailed fragrance description to others who have already done such a great job, but if you are looking for some truly unique perfumes go buy the reasonably priced and generously sized discovery set immediately- but be prepared to be hooked by a few! After my sample set I purchased the 3-fer deal he offers on 30mls- I got this one, Burvuvu, and Dinudisit. I go back and forth between a strong like and a love on this one. The other two are strong loves. I am also still intrigued by Selperniku, but not quite ready to pull the trigger on that one. Being a perfume collector on an artist's income, I really appreciate that he offers the smaller sizes.

I really like the ending of this scent, but what doesn’t capture me is the opening. To me, the opening is just notes of artificial grape flavoring that you would smell after opening grape candy. I’m not sure if that’s just the lavender or if it’s my own mind playing tricks on me. Performance is not terrible, but I wish it was better lasting and with a bit more projection. Overall, 6/10

Lavender bomb with strong green notes, supported by a hint of hay, moss and a sweet note (champaca?) in the backgorund. The definition of (aromatic) fougere. What I was expecting Houbigant Fougere Royale to smell like. Still, my favourite in this category remains Penhaligon's Sartorial. Unisex, Spring/Fall days leaning on the warmer side, 25+

Eiderantler (love the name) is mostly a lavender fragrance on my skin. Unfortunately it seems to contain sweet vanilla and a kind of musk which I don't really like. Thus it is not my kind of fragrance. However, try it out for yourself.

An interesting blend of dryness and moisture. It feels like a meadow has been mowed, the cut grass has had time to dry, and then rain comes. Herbal, slightly balsamic

A wonderful perfume which reminds me of one of my favorite house Caron! Thanks John for creating such a wonderful perfume!

The green fragrance that tops all green fragrances. Bravo!

Sampled this on the hunt for a year-round green, fresh aromatic signature scent that feels like being out in the woods. My skin tends to eat up anything green so I was worried that I would be left with only the cashmere, vetiver, and musk. On the test strip, surprisingly very little green freshness and more floral powdery-sweetness, with a distinctly animalic velvety kind of undercurrent, maybe the cashmere. The most fresh green I got was an afterthought of being in a florist shop, but that’s as far as any green went. On my skin, it opened exactly the same, which is rare for me because fragrances on my skin usually smell very different from the strip. Mostly a floral powdery-creamy sweetness from the champa tempered with something more animalic, like an antique velvet dress left in the woods to be rained on with moss and lichens taking it over (or fuzzy antlers, like its name implies). I wouldn’t describe this as fresh or green at all on me, no pink pepper or elemi detected in the open either, and strangely no real lavender note - odd considering it lists both lavender and lavandin but the floral I’m picking up is more of the champa, and a powdery violet. About 10 minutes in and I’m also picking up “rotted leaves,” like when you clean out your gutters after fall and that wet pile of decaying leaves splats to the ground, or when you clear a pile of leaves where the layer at the bottom has gotten wet and started decomposing. Still no green, no pepper, no lavender, nor dryness of the hay for me. I agree with a previous reviewer that it feels very turn-of-the-century lace and feminine creamy florals paired with something animalic, and I’d also add a “dark” or “rotted” undertone that really gives me a Halloween vibe all together. Niche references, but: if you’ve seen Over the Garden Wall, this is the smell of the giant Rococo mansion with the “ghost woman” wandering its halls for sure; or how I would imagine the protagonist girl in the short story The Erl-King, in the Bloody Chamber collection by Angela Carter, would smell. I don’t normally get along with powdery-creamy florals so after about 45 minutes it became too overwhelming for me and I had to try to scrub it off. Overall intriguing, but this is definitely not the “fresh green woods” I was going for and not for me. TLDR: Velvet gown left to the elements in the woods, haunted mansion, rotted leaves, creamy powdery florals, silks and lace, sweetness with an undercurrent of something dark, goth girl wandering a cemetery

There's something in the opening that disagrees with me, which is a shame because the drydown is lovely. I can't put my finger on what I dislike, I think it's some green note that comes off a bit sickly to my nose? The middle and end of this scent on my skin settles into very cool, ivy, violet, powdery sweetness that I love. It almost reminds me of some of what I love in Lolita Lempicka. Alas this stage is very much a skin scent whereas the note I dislike is very prominent. If the parts I liked had more strength and projection I would see myself wearing this constantly.

Oh this is *weird.* It starts off kind of acrid and herbal. Then it transforms into a powdery violet with dry pine and resin accents. I agree with the comment comparing this to Choward's Violet Mints, there's something surprisingly old-fashioned about it. It's like opening an unused drawer that a bunch of dried flowers and herbs used to be kept in. I get no green, but my skin often makes green aspects disappear, so ymmv. Sillage is quite light, though admittedly I applied sparingly. Longevity is moderate.

Sweet green. Reminds me of eating ripe, juicy, drippy honeydew melon in an overgrown garden belonging to some aristocrat. It is certainly nice. The aromatic elements are very vibrant, as it progresses. It transitions to a beautiful field of lavender. Smells like high quality design but doesn’t excite my taste. Leans a cent or two feminine. 7.1/10

I very much liked the green, freshness for a few seconds, but after that first blast, it settled into a skin scent on me. Hopping in the shower right this minute to get it off!

Not very green to me at all. Herbal, sharp, animalic and unpleasant. Superbly similar to Escentric 05 but with a hefty dose of lavender and weird musk, yuck.

No cucumber melon listed as an ingredient? I swear that I smell that after the zesty greens top notes. Not my kinda fresh, woody scent though.

I wonder if I'm just not the target audience for John Biebel's perfumes. Eiderantler, in particular, excited me from its description. And the juice color made me feel like I was in for a cool blast of fir, camphorous lavender, and green leaves. But what I get is powdery, soft, and smooth. Not forest by any means, but something more comfortable, more domestic. It's a bit of a dusty fougère—slightly soapy, just a little pepper—but leans much more feminine than you'd expect. As has been with each of these first four offerings from JSP (Smolderose, Vaporocindro, and Selperniku included), I get the vibe of a middle-aged woman—and not quite an elegant, Bergdorf-shopping, Upper East Side type, but rather your aunt in Maine who's a ceramicist and picks this up and says “wow, this is different!” Because they really are interesting, but I just can't personally click with them. They're almost too friendly, too affable, and I keep looking for some sort of deeper edge. I'm still very interested in what JSP offers next—I think each one of the perfumes so far has a unique perspective and is very well-made. I'm going to keep sniffing them from time to time to see if my opinion changes, but after a few tries of Eiderantler, I'm not quite sold. (6/10)

In the home, there's a master bathroom and then there's the guest bathroom. When you're potty training a 3 yr old boy, he may or may not miss the toilet. Most likely, little Timmy is honing his skills in the guest bathroom. Company sure finds the most inopportune time to show up. Now the guest bathroom has to be cleaned. The result is the opening of Eiderantler. The grimacing green stuff is effervescent, bright and full of fury. Don't you dare expect a plant like realistic outdoors type of frag that will make your skin come alive. The only thing that will be alive is your nose hairs. Believe it or not, but Eiderantlers actually takes a much needed turn and shift towards a sweet powdery stage. This is when this Fougere becomes wearable but what's the point when no one can detect the scent. This is a southpaw lavender only because of it's labyrinthine nature. This is almost a scrubber. Let's just call it a scru leaving the bber off for now. The longevity is worth the ridicule as well as the absence of fan favorite notes such as pink pepper and oak.

one look at the notes, i feel that there is a deep, resinous base missing, either amber or myrrh (or both), and this note interacts with the lavender to create an intriguing accord. the resin quality is very 'ambre loup' by rania j, and the lavender is like the one amouage uses in their post 2013 offering (i sorta kinda stopped paying attention to them around that time). it works quite well, but, it's not as amazing as the other scents in this line. i do find myself sniffing my elbow nook (where i sprayed it) not only to take it all in, but also to try and decipher what else i can detect. there is something else going on here, something familiar, but unfortunately, it's not intriguing enough for me to pry further, to try again, to see if i wanna get past this stage. a solid offering by the house, for sure, but at the moment, it's not quite my cup of tea...

I got this as an extra and immediately it stuck out of a bundle of other scents - firstly because I could smell it from the package and second the dark juice. It reminded me a little of Onde de Linde Baruti, with it's lush green springtime allure, and I was getting ready to love this. In some ways I do, it's very potent, green and fresh, perhaps I sprayed a touch too much because it borders on overwhelming category for me. Something in it is metallic, perhaps the elemi, hay lavender borrows a true earthy field on a farm aura and there is something tropical in there too...(champaca and a tropical pine - beloved notes of mine) very unique and the ingredients feel super high quality. However I think you need to be super careful when applying this. The sample sprayer doesn't help either - I will have to retest.

a powdery ivy fougère, a unique creation from january scent project. combining nuances of dry hay and sweet lavender with all the crisp watery aspects of diptyque's ivy soliflore eau de lierre, eiderantler smells like candy cologne for a dapper forest fawn. the smell of ivy is itself quite rare in perfumery as the rustic leaf bears no natural extracts, so to see this aqueous-natural fantasy accord utilized in the typically masculine fougère structure - taking the place of classical oakmoss - makes this perfume both a distinct conceptual exemplar par excellence and a wearable unisex option for anyone who enjoys the smell of leafy green notes. wear this with a emerald suit to a cottage wedding in the scottish glens, or just to bring a little bit of the storied leaf of fidelity wherever you roam.

I'll need to wear this again. My first impression is that there is some green here, but not nearly as much as the impression this green juice, the listed notes, and it's medieval forest name would indicate. There's a scent that reminds me of a hand lotion my mom used to wear. It makes me feel like this frag has a bit more of a feminine vibe than I tend to care for, BUT...as I mentioned, I need to wear it for another day to get a really good feel for it. The notes I could identify in my first wear were some lavender, cashmeran, some vetiver, and musk. I really love the presentation on this one, and want to love the fragrance as well, but it's been slow to grow on me so far. In the immortal words of Bruce Dickinson, this fragrance needs more Fir Cone...A LOT MORE Fir Cone...or is it cowbell?

At first try, I adored this: It wasn't really powdery so much as powdered woody. First on I got soft wood incense and some spice hints. Middle notes had a urine note I disliked a lot, like Yew hedge, but that passed and it moved on to a Pinon pine incense type wood, with a resin base. Full dry down I got hay and dried flowers. I loved this and nearly bought a bottle, but I wisely retried it and it did become much more powdery, in a slightly mature way that I don't love. (probably because I'm on the mature side myself, and incidentally dislike powder in fragrance.) I will keep trying, but the hay and dried flowers bit was so darn lovely and I adore wood chip incense, so for most of it's life, it was wonderful. It's also not hugely overpriced, which always wins my admiration.

The real "Green Water"! A delicate yet harsh sweet hay and tender lavender. The sweet tender lavender is just overwhelming mixed in with harsh yet soft hay! the dose of sweet in here is just perfect in away that makes you believe that there isn't any sweetness but you just can't neglect the fact of otherwise! The balsamic pepper is adding that green water effect with the help of fern. The musk, and the elemi are mixed incredibly well making the texture of the blend to be a cashmeran! If i'm going to pick an ad to this blend then it's "Mémoire d'une Odeur" by Gucci, the one with Harry Styles in it! It just describes that atmosphere! kind of mysterious yet captivating and charming. It's very thin and you can apply more than 3 sprays to enjoy the mystery ride.

I got the sample set of all 4 scents from January Scent Project, and have tried this and Selperniku so far. To me this smells very floral or if not floral, sweet, I'm assuming from the "hay" or coumarin note. It's very refreshing to see a "green" fragrance that's soft and unisex and doesn't smell like the men's deodorant section at the supermarket. In general I think this is very pleasant and something you could wear to the office without freaking anyone out. Slightly more "user friendly" than Selperniku in my opinion. Update: The drydown for this is really nice. It's kind of like a velvety soft woodsiness.

Received my sample pack two days ago. Beautifully and carefully packaged, including a personal note of thanks from John. Of the three included samples, Smolderose, Selpernika, and Eiderantler, this is by far my favorite. The dry down is a fright though. I can't help smelling my wrist, but each time I just hope time passes quickly. After that it's lovely and different from anything else I own. Other reviewers are better at the specifics, so I won't even try. The $5 sample pack is definitely worth a try.

For a mystical, old-growth forest take on green/ lavender/ hay/ fir, I think Viride by Orto Parisi is a better option. Eiderantler is surprisingly blunt on the nose, and feels like it's missing something to me; the scent doesn't seem to have nearly as much capacity to "expand" as Viride, nor does it seem as balanced. Or possibly I just prefer how the green notes play with the more resinous base of Viride, a contrast/ depth that I'm not picking up on with Eiderantler.

This is a great all around fragrance. I have worn it during the winter and loved it. Now wearing it during the spring I love it even more. You can dress it up but I perfer wearing this fragrance in jeans and a t shirt just chillin enjoying how great I smell. This is a Life is Good fragrance.

Sparkling, light hearted, friendly, and fun. With just the right amount of vetiver and oakmoss to give it strength and resoluteness. A great balance of modern freshness and old school beefiness.

Smells like chowards violet mints in a Russian bathhouse: floral, herbal, constitutional and bracing, Salubrious, invigorating, sanguine and verdant. A little bitter, but good-for-you.

Year round masterpiece. Champaca, lavender, sweet, green, gorgeous.
