An olfactive desire for Traditional & Natural Oud Lovers... If I want to make it precise, Ghala is a real olfactive experience for traditional Oud-Rose lovers who are tired of experiencing regular, synthetic molecules based Oud-Rose combos available in the market. I wouldn't say, it's gonna be a complete departure from what we are used to of, yet it's different enough for me to fall in love at first sniff... Yes, I'm pointing at it's quality of ingredients and high concentration of the pure parfum. To the best of my humble knowledge and inadequate experience, I have been completely in agreement with the Perfumer or the owner of the house that in Ghala, they've poured nothing but all natural ingredients, at least, to my nose. From the very first spray, It screams the legitimacy of the claim of the Perfumer. However, Ghala starts with a beautiful deep, sweet, spicy Kalakasi Oud along with Anatolian Rose which is quite sparking and citrusy, a bit lemony I would say. Which is first difference from the traditional Oud-Rose combos to my nose, this is definitely missing in the regular things in the market. The opening last for may be 20-25mins. After that, it becomes Oud dominating or I may say it's woody facets are unfolded by putting Cedar at work. There's Frankincense is listed but I can't get enough of it, may be suppressed by Oud, but yes, there's a resinous feel in it. Please don't think, Rose is gone here, rather Rose takes the sit just behind the driver (i.e.Oud). From this phase till final drydown I can't pinpoint when Pachouli and Vetiver comes to the game, but suddenly I feel that something adding sweetness and earthiness to this already mesmerizing composition and making it even more enjoyable. I must not forget to add Pure Indian Oud take the wheel of this olfactive shuttle from here! But don't ever expect, it's anything skanky or barnyard like, it's just so thik, sour-sweet goodness of Pure Indian Oud. And the journey of evolving aromatherapy stops here by fading away of Rose at this point and the scent settles down slightly sweet, slightly earthy and mostly woody structure of traditional Indian Oud till it's completely gone leaving a intriguing olfactive trail in the mind... I'm not gonna compare Ghala with anything though, there are some phases in it having similar facets with some Niche or even Artisanal fragnances I have experienced. I'll let it open for others to explore... All in all, Natural Fragrance lovers should at least try it if they want something familiar yet rich and unique...

From the solid metal bottle presentation covered with the most luxurious shimmering gold color stamped with traditional symbol of quality from red wax. The quality continues even more inside by using only the highest quality and rarest ingredients found in perfumery. A true beauty to be appreciated only by connoisseur. On my first experience wearing Ghala all my senses awaken with the bold and loud projection, my brain is amazed by how smooth all the notes coming all together. It feels like wearing a statement to announce my presence to the every room I entered. I can only imagine this to be worn in a very special formal occasion or by a very special people with the highest status like the royal family lives in a palace. GHALA is an oriental rose oud fragrance inspired by ultimate love. For such an expression it's undoubtedly has to be pronounce with only the best of the best. From the start incredibly rare Kalakassi oud with Turkish rose smells vibrant and pungent, yet also heavy and animalic already hitting the olfactory. What makes this fragrance very special to me is the blend of ambergris and frankincense in the hearts so beautifully that give the fragrance extra depth and complexity without overshadowing the rose and oud. They're present yet undistinguished separately. It settled to a beautiful woodsy earthy patchouli with pure Indian oud that's slightly minty and refreshing coming from vetiver. A very unique and interesting olfactory experience because usually the lighter and refreshing notes are found in the opening not the base. Bravo! 👏 This fragrance must be experienced to be appreciated because no words can describe it accurately. And I highly recommend to spray this powerhouse only on skin. If I have to make comparisons with another fragrance I've experienced then this will be like ROJA Aoud mixed with 3 times the smell of MFK Oud Satin Mood Extrait plus a hint of beautiful spiciness from FDB Sahraa combine with the majestic incense from ROJA Sultanate of Oman. As far as Rose Ouds go, this one will not disappoint. The strength of the different rose notes are strong and natural and vie for attention with a deep oud note. It really is a blast at first so be prepared. I would spray this one well before going out unless you want to own the room you enter into. But this immensely powerful intensity does not last that long. The longevity, however, is great. The incense note is significant and adds to its depth and elegance. To me it is unisex, but needs someone confident enough to make a scent statement. Among the huge range of Rose Ouds this one is in the top 10% and maybe even a loftier place than that. I would encourage people to sample before buying, as it is more animalic than some might like, and it is quite expensive too. I do feel special when I wear it at home or out and about.

I originally thought of this as the enhanced version of Thirty Three by Ex Idolo, but the middle stage has a sharp/metallic muskiness that's consistent with many Middle Eastern ouds (but nowhere near Dahn Al Oudh Moattaq's level so don't worry 😅), like a fly that would occasionally fly too close to your ear just to annoy you; moreover, the dry & woody base seems to get hollower (carved from the inside) instead of opening up... For something more understated & natural, try Triad by Bortnikoff 😉 *My 2nd wear was better: I noticed how fresh/citrusy the opening was, making the rose more delicate than rich, and I didn't really notice the sharpness—instead, the smell of authentic oud was easy to detect!

I am surprised about the quality of this perfume, last weak i was wearing it and as soon as i stepped out from my home my neighbors were setting outside the house and suddenly they all turned to me !! They said we are smelling an amazing scent ! They literally were setting more than 20 feet away !! Ghala is just an amazing gem, it opens with a citrusy Rose and amazing vintage oud from india, it is not animalic at all, its more woody, what i really love it in Ghala is that after 12 hours you will still smell the 2 notes ( Oud + Rose ) unlike the other oud rose perfumes Scent : 10/10 Sillage : 10/10 Lasting : 10/10 What else i can say ! I LOVE IT

A beautiful traditional Arabian Rose Oud distinguished by the slight use of the mystical Kalakassi Oud with its citrusy aromatic feel. The perfume opens with a blast of both Taif and Indian rose and moves to a brief heart of cedar, vetiver, incense, patchouli and ambergris before settling into a somewhat creamy aromatic base of Hindi and Kalakassi Ouds and sandalwood. The perfume is well blended and has moderate to strong projection and very good longevity. The perfumes name refers to something unique, priceless and beautiful and it does transition beautifully on skin and has a slight regal feel to it. Enjoy!

Sweet, Rose garnished with Ambergris and hints of mild oud and creamy sandalwood at drydown. There is Oud at the top, hence you maybe lead to believe it is a strong Oud based fragrance but to me it is a Sweet Incense Rose with hints of powdery aromatic Oud at base. Blending and quality is at par with Roja or Bortnikoff but does not perform anywhere close to ADL’s Beauty & The Beast nor is similar. Average performance and very pleasing. Recommended for Fall & Winter wear. The real beauty here is the drydown which is very pleasing and uplifting. Well done! I enjoy wearing it. Shukran Habibi!

The opening on this one is beautiful. The rose is strong and beautiful, and it dominates the concoction. However, for me it doesn't last a long time. It is similar to the rose oud by the house of ASQ.

Very cheap smell No performance skin scent all the way like all perfumes of the brand... Stay away and keep your money for a real deal! Emirati brand with No talent and No creativity

Another beautiful rose oud combo.

I had very high hopes after reading rave reviews, but my expectations were shattered when I used this perfume. It's a total waste of money—no sillage, no projection. It's merely a skin scent, worse than $40-50 perfumes. It smells very mediocre, like Indian attar sold for $2 in old Delhi shops. I strongly recommend sampling this before purchasing a full bottle. YouTubers and reviewers, please do not mislead people with inauthentic reviews. People invest money and time into trying these perfumes, and more often than not, it's a sheer disappointment.

I was given a decant of this 6 months ago and have tried it various times. It’s interesting but has some notes I can’t get on board with. The rose is quieter on my skin and it’s very much dominated by the Oudh. Interestingly I normally have no issue with Oudh. This one presenting my very first experience with barnyard. That I could live with. The killer for me is the note of what feels like super strong geranium and an overdose of citronella. I detest citronella in fragrance, similarly lemongrass. This note rides the oud loudly. The rose / (and even the strong) geranium is a distant participant by comparison. For this reason my skin chemistry and nose just don’t like this fragrance. I know it’s expensive but to me smells unbalanced and cheap. Not the experience I expected. It’s seems fairly polarising. So enjoy it to those who appreciate the scent.

Quite an evolution this scent goes through. Starts with a rich concoction of jammy taif rose, that's in-your-face strong, that could seem screechy, it blends in with stalk like rose absolute, Indian Ruh Gulab, quite potent, with subtle hints of patchouli and frankincense-vetiver coming through fleetingly in between the rose show. Magic. A nice underlying sandalwood note is noticeable too, some dryness of woods, there's a touch of fresh ambergris that shows itself later but stays till the end. After about an hour, the oud creeps in, quality, slightly animalic moldy resinous Hindi Oud, minus the tamarind sharpness, it's slightly sweet a bit barnyard like with lots of warmth, it's a strange mysterious oud taming the rose prominent blend. The oud, ambergris sandalwood stay on skin subduing the rose as the scent dries down, rose slowly gets lighter but is there in the background. Overall the experience begins with the story of rose and is taken over by the depth of oud later, it feels very rich and regal, makes you feel special. Gorgeous blend. High levels of quality and craftsmanship, one of the top Rose Oud scents currently available, that's for sure!

According to the Ali Alzaabi interview available on YouTube (if I'm not mistaken, Prince of Dubai), all Ghala's ingredients are pure, not synthetic. The rare Kalakassi oud with a delicious, strong and woody aroma gives the roses a different tone, nothing feminine. Very different and delicious, very oriental. Here it is the Middle East, it has no connection with the West. Today 22 degrees and windy in the neighborhood I passed and went for a walk on the street, there were people who passed me and turned their faces in my direction to smell it. With every wind that blew, it carried the delicious aroma of this perfume that is full of mystery, delicious roses, wood and incense (which by the way is delicious too!) This perfume is 100 out of 10. Monster projection Horrifying fixation (to get an idea taking a shower and rubbing the soap it still stays) Very striking trail An absurd sense of cleanliness Aroma of the Gods Worth knowing and worth every penny. 3 sprays of it is enough for your neighbor to smell it.

This is rose oud and more. This is a light fragrance but projects beautifully. There is a very mild oily texture to the fragrance. There is something bit salty for a short while but in a good way. Is it Ambergris? Dry down is a rose, gourmand bakhoor. Theres so much going on here right from the beginning and the scent keeps changing. Kalakassi oud is spectacular and well blended. I had a bottle of ASAQ Kalakassi oud oil 150 years old. It was decidedly lemony. But I didn't get that lemony vibe. Probably I missed it here. Overall brilliant Try it

OBSESSED with this. Now THIS is a barnyard oud done in the best way.
