Fleurs d'Ombre/Nymphéa

I always avoid aquatic fragrances and any perfume named Nymphea but my friend wanted to try it and asked my idea.I had to confess that it smells amazing!it's so fresh in a floral way,so feminine and while I could detect water lily(lotus and water lily are two rare florals I dislike) it didn't bother me.it can make a beautiful,easy to wear spring&summer perfume and projection seems to be good too Highly recommended to all fresh-floral lovers,even if you usually hate aquatic ones عطر خنک و باطراوت و فرش گلی..بسیار ملیح و خانومانه توصیه میشه حتما تست کنید حتی اگه شما هم ب اندازه من از روایح آکواتیک و حتی گلهای آکواتیک بیزارید

Very light jasmine scent. Really aquatic, but it smells like floral laundry detergent and very synthetic. But the bottle and the colour is pretty.

The notes, according to Brosseau's site are - Top Notes - Apple, Bergamot, Melon, Pink pepper Heart Notes - Jasmine, Orange blossom, Peach, Waterlily Base Notes - Raspberry, Sandalwood. White musk There is no Wisteria listed in this fragrance, so I don't know why it is listed here on Fragrantica. Was this reformulated at some point? IDK, but what I smell is a clean jasmine and orange blossom fragrance with some fruity notes, made watery and sheer by the waterlily and made synthetic by the use of Calone (melon note). I happen to hate Calone, as it cheapens the overall scent, giving it a generic, artificial feel. The jasmine and orange blossom struggle to shine through this synthetic onslaught losing the battle in the end. It's only when the musk and sandalwood become more prominent that its mitigated somewhat, but by that time the floral notes are mostly gone. I had high hope for this fragrance since I love so much of Fontaine's work, but I sure wish he didn't use Calone. I think this fragrance had the potential to be a beautifully sheer and elegant fragrance without it. But it was, so this is a big no for me.

Fresh and pretty, the bergamot fades after 15 minutes leaving a slightly generic aquatic floral with a minor wisteria tang. This is a pleasant perfume to wear on a hot day, but it's not outstanding. I bought the 30 ml size, which is just enough for me to use up before I am likely to become bored with it.
