This is unique, masculine, sharp, and bone dry. I love it and very happy to have a one- and two-ounce bottle in my collection. These bottles are pressurized, so a light tap and accurate aiming are in order. Highly recommend.

The description of this cologne is accurate, it is a Masculine scented fragrance because of the notes of Fougere, that's what makes it masculine and sexy.. I love this cologne, I just wish they didn't stop making it..

This isn't bad but if you are interested in it you probably already have some similar scents that are better. It's a bit of an unnecessary, inbetween sort of fragrance. Surprisingly fresh for an old 80s-type fragrance. Soapy, slightly leathery, mildly animalic. It does manage to balance fresh/spicy/animalic and some subtle florals quite well. If you took an inferior, less fresh version of Sung Homme and crossed it with a less earthy and less animalic Quorum you'd probably get something a bit like this. Scents usually last very well on me but with my usual 2 sprays it only projects well for 2-3 hours, after which it is close to the skin and then almost gone at 5 hours. I don't think this is likely to add anything to your fragrance collection - if it did it would be because you didn't own any similar scents and in that case you probably wouldn't like this anyway. It sits at the very bottom of my like list - feel very neutral about it - I might use it sometimes but I'll probably never finish the bottle. Can't really recommend this one. Average. Not good. Not bad. Not ugly. Not necessary.

At last, I found a classic aromatic fougère that really showcases geranium. 12 opens with a juicy, green, rosy geranium and a lovely, piquant black pepper note that really harmonizes with the geranium and its supporting lavender. About twenty minutes, that really distinct scent of pelargonium leaves in the sun jumps from my skin and just smells gorgeous. Peppery leaves! Most of us are aware that fern is a fantasy note, but I really do feel like the heart of this fragrance evokes that forest floor vibe, making it a quintessential, if not forgotten, fougère, of its time. It should've become as legendary as it's sibling Jean Couturier Coriandre (which I also adore). It eventually dries down to Hermes-quality leather (no lie) and mildly animalic but enduring musk. A best kept secret, but perhaps the cat's now out of the bag. This is sensational. God, I love my fougères.

It's 5 years since someone wrote Something about this fragrance... It is the tipical late 70's early 80's woodsy autumnish fragrance, in the vein of Balafre Brun, Dior Jules, Hoggar Yves Rocher, You get the point. Not quite unique, but It is perfect If You like those fragrances mentioned above. A very forgotten and overlooked fragrance.
