Lilas Mauve

What a soft, pretty, delicate fragrance! The citrus is definitely there at first, then that fades some and I smell a hint of pink pepper and jasmine. The base of sandalwood and white musk and vetiver is very faint to my nose. In all, it's a very soft,feminine,spring-y/summer-y fragrance that doesn't fade or disappoint.

Lilas Mauve made its way into my collection purely by chance. I did a decant swap many years ago with a member on Parfumo and didn't receive exactly what I had asked for and what was agreed. Amongst the mish-mash of decants was Lilas Mauve. Surprisingly over time I came to enjoy this fragrance, especially as a bed-time scent. It is a very pretty interpretation of lilac with a tinge of soapiness and floral sweetness. Lilas Mauve is not an outstanding fragrance by any means, however it is very pleasant and inoffensive on the skin. I consider it a super easy fragrance to wear and enjoy. I wore it to bed most nights as the scent of lilac in this fragrance put me at ease. I'm not sure as to where this fragrance is sold or whether it is still being sold at all. I can't imagine that it would be a very expensive fragrance, possibly in a similar price range to Coriandre also by the same house. My decant is now finished, and although I may never have this fragrance in my possession again, I am glad that I had the opportunity to wear it.
