Un Jardin a Paris

It’s a beautiful scent, soft yet rich, so feminine but still owns its magical power. Peachy and citrusy in the opening, then the vanilla and amber set up a cozy stage for jasmine and ylangylang. The sandalwood and musk join a bit later, make it more subtle and romantic. Oh, and the peach is always there. Some people would easily recognize Chanel Allure’s DNA in Un Jardin, and i know some cheap perfumes or body-spray that smell identical to them. One of the most feminine and exquisite perfumes that i ever smelled and currently own. SPL are perfect too. I’m usually intrigued by vintage chypre and oriental scents, i didn’t expect this would become my top 10. I’m so in love with this beautiful romantic fragrance, and i can see myself wearing it in any occasions. Don’t expect anything wow or bombastic from Un Jardin a Paris, just enjoy its wisdom.

What a nice perfume. It starts with a light citrus goes into a peachy vanilla floral fragrance with a heavy amber presence. I would actually classify it as an amber floral. Remarkably similar to Chanel Allure and Allure Sensuelle, except this lacks their heavy wood and patchouli presence. I think I like this more because of that. Excellent silage and longevity on the original amber colored formula.

I was really curious about this perfume. I received it today and i couldn't figure out where have i smelled something similar before. It is very very similar to Chanel Allure Sensuelle. As in, incredibly similar, the main notes for sure! Beautiful, unique scent. I love it. I plant o buy more of Couturier's perfumes, i heard they are very good, but underrated for some reason.

Quite lovely, definitely in the same realm as allure sensuelle. Sillage and longevity are moderate. I'm very happy to have it in my collection, I'm gonna use it with my allure, so I don't have to use more than one spray and still get the effect.

I received a decant of this scent from a very generous and knowledgeable Fragrantician. She wanted to know if I thought it similar to Allure EDT. I only have the EDP, and even with the differences between the two, this clearly has the Allure DNA. Of course, I purchased a bottle! I think I might actually prefer it to my Allure EDP, as UJaP is a bit lighter and more crisp, perhaps due to the different citrus notes. I imagine that this will work well layered with various scents - perhaps something woodsy, or to add lightness to a heavy white floral. And of course, I can always layer with my Allure to make the bottle last longer, though I don't think I'll be running out any time soon!! It's a nice fragrance and a solid Like in my book!

I tested this and then bought it for my 32 yr old daughter. The scent made me think of walking on a beach under a dark starry sky on a balmy evening. Its a wonderful romantic scent. I did not find it light but it also was not over powering. I did 2 quick sprays. The bergamot, jasmine and vanilla came to me all at once and then settled together. More woodsy than sweet to me. I think its great for spring and summer.

Tangerine & peach are apparent in the opening notes. Quickly warming to the base notes of amber,musk etc. Could easily be a unisex perfume. Longevity on me,at least 4-5 hours. Sillage...? Well it seems to me it's very linear,I can identify most of the notes straight away. A lovely fragrance,recommended.

This is a very light Summer frag. Nothing spectacular but ok for every day use.

In this Garden in Paris, someone’s drinking a cool peach and sweet citrus ice tea. Flowers are stylized, somewhere, and the noises of the capital are fading away. It’s a quiet and beautiful place to read a book, a french romance, in the afternoon sun. The concept is wise and balanced, feminine and peaceful. The melting peach, the shade of the indistinct flowers, the amber of the mild sun. A little hidden paradise.

What a pretty, feminine scent ! It's just like Ivanka but without the pink pepper. Also extremely similar to but much better and longer lasting than Chanel Allure. Ultra feminine, great for all seasons, anywhere, any time. Moderate to soft projection, lasting easily over 12 hours. Works in office settings, for nights out, and for romantic dates. Crowd pleasing pleasant safe blind buy and perfect for a gift.

A beautiful fragrance that has been very expertly described but other reviews: it really does evoke the feeling of a sitting in a garden in spring, drinking tea. Unfortunately, just like a summer, it really doesnt last. Projection and longevity were really disappointing, but for such a price point it can be forgiven i suppose.

Today’s perfumes don’t compare to perfumes that used to be made with superior ingredients. I’ve stored my precious bottle of “Un Jardin a Paris” in its box for decades and it still smells marvellous. “Un Jardin a Paris” for day and “Coriandre” for night, are two of my favourite scents in the world.
