Ambre Tatouage

A stunning amber and patchouli forward fragrance with subtle sweetness from fig and vanilla. Warm, sensual, and absolutely feels niche. Was gifted this for Father's Day and it's my introduction to the new JPG Les Ateliers Gaultier collection and makes me very excited to explore the others. To my nose it certainly differs from the JPG offerings and I truly cannot compare it to anything else I've ever smelled. Closest thing I can compare it to is Silver Blue by Mancera in the sweetened patchouli aspect of the fragrances. The patchouli in this doesn't come off dirty or earthy but rather honied or candied. I can see this really taking off in the Fall/Winter months as it gives a very cozy like warmth when wearing it. A beauty of a fragrance!

This was the perfume from the Les Ateliers collection I was the most excited to try, and I wasn't disappointed! It is absolutely lovely, a bit soft, and kinda mellow? At least to me! It smells very good, you can definitely get the fig in there, and the amber is super reassuring in a way. It's funny because on my skin there are some walnut notes coming through? I'm not complaining, I love nutty smells so this was an even better surprise honestly. If I had to choose one from the Les Ateliers collection, I would definitely go for this gem.

I don't know what it is about this one , On my skin it reminds me of Helfeti - That's not a bad thing at all, but makes it redundant already having a bottle of Penhaligon/H. Very nice thou and soft as are the rest of this Line. Well done.

I received the sample box ordered from the JPG website on Saturday and currently working my way through testing them - a couple of them I really love so far. I have been wearing the sample of this today and this smells overwhelming like cinnamon blast to me?!
