I don't know why this fragrance gets tremendous hate. I bought it last year because Macy's had it on clearance after a while. When I first bought it it just smelled like a soft orange bath spray. I have let it sit for a year and pulled it out with my summer fragrances. God, it's amazing. It is a soft powdery Citrus with vanilla. The Citrus is so real upon first spray. It makes me want to keep spraying but don't! Because it is going to last all day long. It changes like every 2 hours. I'm so glad that there's so much of this all over the place and I hope that other bottles that smell just as amazing at this one bottle I have. If you were to tell me that I would like powder and citrus in the same perfume, I would think that sounded ghastly until now.

I am usually a gourmand fragrance-lover, but I have to admit that I love this one. The yuzu is so fresh in a good way, and it has depth and something more to it when it evolves on your skin. I think it is in the same ballpark as Dolce Gabbana Light Blue, which also is a freshie with carachter. Leans feminine in my opinion.

Mine is a few years old now and lasts half the day. The citrus is gushing. It's a love and has been since day one. However, in the beginning it was more powdery and vanilla and as the months/u years go by the citrus is more in the forefront.

Great fragrance, people are fucking idiots for rating it so low just because of the bottles message. How low are you in humanity

  • em inglês

Loving this citrusy unisex scent. Love the cool themed bottle too!

  • em inglês

It was made by Quentin Bisch and you want to rate it 0 because of your irrational fear of positive messaging? wheres the loyalty?

  • em inglês

honest review, not my thing, unisex, more female too citrusy some might like it but not me, not a very masculine scent, sold it after wearing for 2 days

I wanted to love this, but it's a no for me. Packaging is beautiful 😍 but don't love the juice. Smells like cat pee on me.

This fragrance straight ass. Smells like when u are in a big city and and that one car which smells like gas just starts smelling all over the place. it reminds me of that. dont even get me started on the longevity and projection and i hate the silver bottle design as well get a different jpg fragrance pls

Really...? Get lost lol Embarrassing propaganda from JPG, I never liked the house anyway. @aesthetic_k - You're so lost, it's almost funny.

In the vast cosmos of olfactory experiences, there exists a fragrance so cataclysmically dreadful, so abhorrently repulsive, that one cannot help but recoil in sheer terror at its mere mention. Behold, the epitome of olfactory catastrophe, the fragrance that defies all logic and reason: "Classique Pride." by Jean Paul Gaultier. From the moment this wretched concoction graces the air with its presence, it unleashes a relentless assault on the senses, akin to a noxious cloud of toxic fumes billowing forth from the depths of the underworld itself. The initial impression is akin to stumbling upon a decaying carcass in the midst of a sweltering summer's day—a sickening blend of putrid decay and rancid despair that clings to the nostrils with unyielding tenacity. But alas, the horror does not end there, for as time wears on, "Classique Pride" reveals its true malevolence, unfurling layers of nauseating notes that assault the senses with the subtlety of a sledgehammer. Imagine, if you will, the acrid stench of burnt rubber mingling with the cloying sweetness of rotting fruit, overlaid with a sickly-sweet musk that evokes the image of a festering wound left unattended for far too long. And yet, even as one recoils in horror at the mere thought of such olfactory torment, "Classique Pride" persists, clinging to the skin like a foul miasma that refuses to dissipate. It is a fragrance devoid of any redeeming qualities, a veritable symphony of discordant notes that conspire to assault the senses in the most egregious manner imaginable. In conclusion, "Classique Pride" stands as a testament to the boundless depths of human folly, a fragrance so egregiously bad that it defies all attempts at comprehension. To don such a scent is to subject oneself to a relentless barrage of olfactory torment, a fate worse than even the darkest depths of Dante's inferno. Beware, dear reader, and steer clear of this abomination at all costs.

@AndyWarholsFavoriteWig: Agreed, what the f is wrong with people. Like, I could imagine 12-year olds sitting and thinking that was hilarious... but I doubt they would be hanging out on fragrantica of all places, so we're talking probably adult men sitting and doing that shit. Like seriously, and I'm an adult cis-gender straight(-ish) man saying this. I think some things that are immature, dark and not seen as "PC" can be very fun to joke about, but the thing with this is that it's just like... not funny. in any way. @hexed: I get what you mean, but nah come on. Fragrances are universal, they're for the women and men, gay people and straight people, cis-gendered and trans (+NB) people, saying that perfumes and fragrances are gay is very reductive and becomes almost as childish as the people doing this shit in the first place.

Ummm... just like a honest review, ignoring all this... other stuff. The blood orange scent is really strong, it gives off a bitter/tarte citrus opening (almost like grapefruit rind), but there not much else to it besides that. Honestly, I purchased thinking it was the original classique juice. Longevity is disappointing, about two-three hours. If you really like tarte bitter citrus this is great, and you should literally get it now, bc it’s discounted and a limited release.

It is actually so funny to read homophobic, narrow minded, and toxic masculine comments from men as it reveals how uneducated and obsessed they are 😍 Then this same group of men moans “Why is the suicidal rate in men so high 😭” SO YOU ARE ASKING WHEN YOU ARE LITERALLY THE CAUSE OF THESE SUICIDES??? Well, if you think being hateful and commenting like it is the 16th century will help decreasing men suicidal rate then go for it 👏👏👏

  • em inglês

I smelled it at a local perfume shop in my town, it doesn’t smell like anything special or nice at all. And I see in the comments a lot of people trying to support it but really, they just want to show that it’s good. I would suggest that you get another Jean Paul Gaultier fragrance.

  • em inglês

man, i sure hope all those hate ratings are because of the scent and not the bottle. not sure why people would assume jpg of all brands to be... straight-coded.

  • em inglês

Same as below, are the straighties here being so defensive simply because they chose a gay ass hobby aka collecting perfume, or....

  • em inglês

it's funny how some men don't realise the majority of their favourite designers/perfumers are gay men

  • em inglês

people are rating this so low just because of the bottle, the smell is like a flowery fruit

  • em inglês

Turn to Jesus Christ and repent before its to late!
