Classique Rock Star

Well to be fair I never smelt it when it first came out but I bought a full bottle recently 2016, so it's a good few years old I believe stored well since 2005 but yuck sorry for jean paul lovers but this is never going to be a favorite of mine, it's old smelling way too vintage mixed with soap........ Nice bottle but me and my hubby who likes most of my perfumes were shocked that classique is sooo popular how ??? Vintage soap but boy does it last so if you like this the edt is more like edp soooo strong , sorry but I'll pass :)

This is my favourite (that I've actually smelled) of all the versions of Classique. It is just so sexy, but not so strong that it is restricted to a certain time of day or season (although I only use it in Winter because I buy the Summer edition every year). it is absolutely one of the best blind buys I've ever made - because I collect the JPG fragrances - PM me if you're selling any! I always forget how great it smells til that first spray and there's something awakening about the scent.

I have to say I like this flanker. To me it smells exactly like the original version of classique With the soapy effect added ( I believe with the amber or ginger?) I don’t think it smells old or vintage at all. It smells really clean and maybe too soapy for people (?) I like the effect that comes with it because it really feels clean. You can definitely smell the original behind, in the DNA... it is a very warm fragrance in the original and the soap effect makes it fresh and summery. The original might be sometimes overwhelming but the rockstar flanker with the new soap smell makes it light and fluffy.. This soap smell goes away after about two hours... The soap smell is the thing that makes the perfume so strong in my opinion and gives it its powerful sillage. But that soap doesn’t have a lot of longevity and that affects the longevity in the perfume itself .. Overall 7/10

I have it never opened it till now coz its a collection but i love the smell its gorgeous for me ... i dont smell soap just a mix of scents not as overpowering as the original classique ... just simpler ... i love it ... i cant stop sniffing my wrist ... i am old soul maybe ... lucky me to have this in my collection ...

For $10 on marketplace I was willing to take a chance on a blind buy (I've spent much more on blind buys 😅) but this isn't for me. It's a strong 80s style yellow floral and although ylang-ylang isn't listed here, I can definitely smell it. This thing will clear a room! The bottle is pretty, but it's going up on Mercari tomorrow.

I LOVE the first hour or so of Classique Rock star. And the bottle-come on! It's Madonna! Fantastic! But over the hours, it does start to smell like older perfumes, like grandma would have worn. Rose, powder, iris. The up side is it will last all day. I will glady swap my mostly full bottle to you just to give it a good home. I prefer sporty or woody scents.
