Gaultier Divine Le Parfum

Another awesome Ross find for $79.99 I had the OG, couldn’t stand the “artificial watermelon” note so I sold it Le parfum version is perfect. I enjoy it from opening to end—it lasts all day and then some. I get a creamy frangipani note - I had a huge tree in the yard of my childhood home. It smells so gorgeous and no it’s not like a carbon copy of the smell of the flower but it invokes the vibration of it. Creamy, pretty, when I think of the colors I imagine while smelling this I think of the swirling colors of a breathtaking sunset . Also not sure what solar notes are at all but I would think it’s kind of like the way in the sun your body heat kind of jumps off of you as the sunlight hits your skin— that kind of sensation where you can very much “smell” the heat radiating away from your body. But with this fragrance it’s a very clean type of smell. . Feels like you’ve deep conditioned your hair with a wonderful conditioner before swimming and now your hair is silky smooth as you come out of the water. You just smell so nice. Of course I am a huge lover of amber and benzoin so I hope those notes are true to the fragrance because we all know fragrantica is notorious for getting the notes wrong either they list an extra note or miss it completely. Yes, this one is a win for me. Very pleased to have it in my rotation it shall be reached for often. To me, it’s like sunshine in a bottle, and I’m on the best vacation ever.

To say that I have become obsessed with this fragrance is an understatement, I am absolutely mesmerized by this bright, solar, strong, and long-lasting materpiece! A couple of yers ago, after blind buying and being utterly disappointed with Quentin's Pure XS flower/popcorn/sharp monstruosity, I put the perfumer and his creations in purchase-jail for a minute, and I was reluctant to even try the og Divine when it came out. However, a couple of months ago, on the evening prior to leaving South America (after a month-long trip), I caved at a department store, and allowed the JPG people to spray me with the og on one wrist and the le parfum on the other, I was gifted both of their testes, and then took off... Ok so the edp I really liked, it was a lovely floral with a marine vibe, nice! But the Le Parfum was an immediate love, one which kept getting stronger, more solar salty ambery as the evening transitioned into night! Of course I caved and bought the big daddy bottle as soon as I could afford it (a couple of weeks ago), and I'm in love! I've finally found a signature fragrance that I can wear year-round and that EVERYONE loves on me too! This is the kind of scent that creates a bubble that you and everyone else can smell and I'm here for it! PS: Spray carefully, because she is STRONG and heady!

I... i don’t even really know what to say. This perfume is heavenly!! I very recently received this one, so I’m getting to know her a bit better as time goes on. But my initial impression is this perfume is as beautiful as all the other positive reviewers made it out to be. The solar note is very strong but done so so beautifully. I’ll edit this as i use it more and more, but my initial reaction is that I’m genuinely blown away by the beauty of this perfume. A little goes a long way. I was testing her out immediately after it was delivered. My husband could smell it as soon as i walked into the room. And I think i maybe used 3 pumps? If you’re on the fence about it, get her!! I really have a hard time thinking she’d disappoint anyone! This is just gorgeous so far. Edit: so I said I’d update my review after a little bit more time with this perfume. I’ve struggled to really know what to say because my thoughts are still the same as when I first got her - aside from a deeper appreciation for this scent. Divine le Parfum is just stunningly gorgeous to me. It’s that perfume that you smell and can’t help but shut your eyes for a second to take in fully (or is that just me?). I know this edit probably isn’t helpful, but I can’t express how wonderful this perfume is!

5 out of 5. It quickly became my #2 favorite perfume out of my nearly 200 bottle collection! It’s sweeter and stronger than the original... thus the “Le Parfum” versus the Eau du Parfum original. This is giving sophisticated (but not too mature) sexy boss woman. It’s all year wear... day time and night time. Stronggggg longevity, bold projection and a beautiful sillage. If you use 2-3 sprays on a dress, it’ll last for over a week until you wash it. THIS perfume is what I’m talking about. When I read the notes to my friends, they have a hard to grasping how it smells by reading the notes. On the website it says a top note is “salt accord”... so I guess that’s the solar note... but I’d say this is a sweet amber with salt and a bit of a flower... but the flower isn’t overpowering it. It’s really a perfect blend to where you can’t put your finger on most of the notes, but it’s amazing nonetheless. This was art. True art. Anyone that isn’t impressed is loco lol.

This perfume is so wonderful to me. I went with a friend to Sephora and we smelt so many perfumes, and were really underwhelmed, but when we tried Divine both of us went "Oh!" and we both left with a travel size to try. Feminine, summery, glowing, I never understood what a solar note meant but I really feel it here, its like I see an aura with this fragrance. This smells like watching a golden sunset after a day of swimming in the ocean, your skin is warm and a bit salty and you have a tropical flower in your hair. Just stunning. I prefer this to the original divine by a mile. Wearing this out/to school work uplifts my mood and makes me feel so pretty, and it has gotten many compliments. Also an amazing date fragrance. Another thing I love is the longevity and the evolution of the fragrance, the middle notes are so addicting, meaning after an hour or two I find it smells even better, which I personally never see in perfume.

I received this sample a month ago. I sprayed it on & at first was quite underwhelmed. But after 10 minutes i was completely in love & immediately ordered a bottle. I don’t have the original EDP as reference but i am a lover of JPG fragrances so i am sure it’s a gorgeous smell. I absolutely love this fragrance. Goodness, i love the slight saltiness it has, the floral hints & the longevity is amazing! The projection is strong on me personally. I am a big sprayer though lol I have gotten a-lot of compliments since wearing it & it’s quickly become one of my favourite fragrances I’ve purchased thus far. The bottle is the same as the OG which i do not mind. I have a weakness for JPG bottles tbh! I love also how its refillable, so efficient & then i wont have difficulty throwing away a perfectly good bottle.

Ladies, I know I've already reviewed this absolutely mesmerizing potion, but I have a suggestion based on COMPLIMENTS. So, if you are a strong woman, who doesn't mind making a statement, leaving a scent trail, and getting ALL of the compliments, here's my advice; After showering and moisturising your body, spray Divine Le Parfum with a heavy hand (about 8 to 10 sprays). Allow it to dry, and then apply Olympea edp over the same Divine lp sprays (with the same heavy hand), and let it dry... Prepare to smell HEAVENLY all day, compliments galore, I guarantee. PS: I don't usually layer my frags, as I believe a perfume should stand on it's own, but this is THE exception that makes it worthwhile, trust me.

I was mislead by people saying this one was « more intense », « stronger » than the original divine that i got to test and adored. So i went for the more expensive version of le divine, supposed to have better performance. Well... It’s absotulety the contrary ; divine original overperforms this one by far. Unfortunately divine le parfum doesn’t project at all, and this buy was useless. It’s immediately a skin scent, there is no projection at all. The only thing useful about this one, is its bottle that i can’t wait to refill with the divine original instead. So if you hesistate between divine and divine le parfum, in hope of it to be more performant, bad idea.

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Parfum is a 10/10. It smells like balcony-hot sex with the love of my life. Complex yet yielding, inviting, bold, and darkly rich in its femininity. It transports you to another world and makes you want to stay there — sealed in a bubble where it’s just you and him. Seductive, joyful, and beautifully layered. It won’t be for everyone, but for those it is for, it will be in a major way. It smells like a blend of every exotic city in the world. This is the scent that introduced me to Quentin Bisch, and I can’t imagine a better discovery. Longevity and projection are 10/10. Perfect date-night scent, with a subtle, addictive dry-down.

After all the hate I saw about this perfume on social media, I was so sure I wouldn’t like it. And when i went into Sephora with zero expectations, the second I tried it I was literally flabbergasted. It’s so feminine and sensual, really creamy, but at the same time it has this tropical, seductive vibe that just makes it stand out. There’s no much sea salt which makes me love it even more lol. This is exactly why I don’t listen to social media reviews, there’s none of that “egg” smell. This fragrance turned out to be absolutely phenomenal. Even the original flanker surprised me so much, it was honestly jaw dropping.

This is such a lovely creation. It smells like a summers day, when the sun hits your face whilst you're lying, slightly sweating, on a exotic beach with a frangipani drink in your hand. It's just pure natural joy and radiation. It projects nicely and lasts a long time without being overpowering. Do be mindful of the amount you put on - it is potent. I have a hard time seeing how this wouldn't be a nice scent for almost anyone, unless you love heavy gourmand scents. I find this to be a slightly more refined than million gold for her by Paco Rabanne, which is also a lovely scent but a tad more synthetic.

Divine le Parfum is just as perfect as Divine edp and yet a little different...I love them both! And I always get so many compliments on both from men and women :-). Divine le Parfum is a bold, sensual, sexy, long-lasting fragrance, an amber-floral fragrant composition with a gourmet note. The saltiness combines with the sweetness of meringue, flowers, benzoin and sensual amber. I also feel a sharper metallic touch (compared to the edp), which gives the fragrance dynamism and depth. The staying power is incredible! The bottle is in symbiosis with the content. Love it!🔥❤️

I got a test of this and I'm positively surprised. First impression is good! It's warm and floral (not too much) spicy almost in a herbal way yet very sparkling and pretty scent. Ones it's dried down it got sweeter and sweeter. This goes on til' the complete dry down where I get a small comfy vanilla scent wich is so so lovely. Only on my collar many hours later can I smell the amber, the more aninalic type of scent, this didnt happen on my skin. A super solar, spicy, floral, sweet fragrance that i would absolutely buy a bottle of! Uniqe yet pleasing.

Wow! This is so beautiful, very feminine and sexy, I love it. It's a sweet, ambery-floral scent, perfectly balanced, very versatile perfume, you can wear it anywhere, anytime. Stays on clothes for days, it's a very unique scent, totally signature worthy. Bottle is absolutely stunning too. This flanker is sweeter, deeper and more ambery than the original Divine, which BTW I love just as much. Original Divine is fresher and salt note is more prominent. If you want to smell like goddess don't hesitate and grab this beauty. I absolutely love it!

Scented 105m above sea level, 19°C , 85% Moisture day = The incredible aquatic sillage comparable to a well preserved Calvin Klein Escape for Women vintage 90's bottle. I had to stop a woman to ask what fragrance she wore. I was so shocked it was this. The sample I tried in a shop had a note of mothballs! But a fresh travel sized bottle I got was fresh, clean and clear. Lesson is: Keep this vigilantly out of heat and light. Also, a tiny partial spray is all that is needed.

This literally smells like how you imagine sniffing the sun would be lol — hard to put into words. It’s sweet and juicy but with a salty twist, same DNA as the EDP but a little sweeter, creamier, spicier and definitely more potent... the longevity and projection are insane! Personally I love it because it’s anything but linear, it performs like crazy, has huge presence, and it doesn’t feel like a “predictable” scent, let alone overhyped. Quentin Bisch did it again!!

I have been testing this for a week now and wow..This is beautiful. The solar notes standout on top. It's sweet but it's for adults. Not juvenile sweet. The dry down is creamy and comforting. I don't pick up much of the salty note but it's definitely a wonderful scent for spring/ summer. It makes me feel like Im at a tropical resort while sitting at my desk at work. The longevity on clothes is 8 hours plus, on my skin about 5 hours. It's wonderful.

not really generic, to me at least when comparing to other recent releases . this has a less heady meringue note, flaky salt, sensuous amber, strong plumeria with lily in the background . better than alien goddess intense which this replaced in my collection, and better than prada la femme as far as performance . the first time i tried in store i sprayed on just my hand and got in an uber, the driver loved the aroma that filled the space .

They can never make me hate a Quentin Bisch creation!! I thought Divine EDP was good, but this is Divine on steroids and I love every second of it! The addition of the amber and benzoin are NEXT LEVEL. It makes the perfume feel more deep and warm, but still fresh enough to wear all year round, day or night. It’s very balanced and smells literally DIVINE. Performance is outstanding too. Lasts and projects like crazy. Absolute LOVE for me!

I got a free sample of this from a pharmacy when I purchased a few things, my mom loves this. Life stories and everything aside, a really simple answer is that this is like a more fruity and "for her" version of the standard Lacoste - L:12:!2 blanc (white) for him. this is beast mode without a doubt meaning it'll easily fill a room and it lasted quite long on her. Hurry up and clone this Afnan! You guys did such a great job with 9PM.

As a man, this perfume on a woman would make me fall head over heels. I can't describe notes on a perfume like that of cologne for men but all I have to say it smells like a confident woman who isn't afraid to be feminine yet this does not smell girly(super sweet) at all. It's sexy, it's clean, it's alluring but also not super mature like Libre, a woman's woman perfume. This here is what all guys want a woman to smell like.

Im a fan of salty, solar scents so when I tried this i really liked it! Its been a while since I tried the OG divine so I cannot compare the two. I will say that Le Parfum is a deliciously warm and sweet floral. The salty solar notes cut perfectly through this. Reminds me of alien goddess supra florale and Olympea.The bottle is stunning. Jean Paul Gaultier scents are always beautifully blended and well presented.

Gladly i learned not to go by people's reviews. Because someone might dislike a perfume, and i smell that perfume and could easily love it, try it and then decide. To me this perfume is beautiful, elegant, classy, i dont have anything on my collection that smells similar, does not smell like the original classique like someone else said on the comments, go test it and wait for the dey down which is amaizing

Another win for me from Quentin! This reads on my skin exactly as advertised. Solar lily at first, then settles to a tropical scent with an undercurrent that reminds me of Clean Skin Reserve. Also gives me the same vibe as my beloved Estée Lauder Oasis Dawn despite not being at all similar. I really love this, and the “tacky” bottle looks great next to the more traditional flacons in my collection.

I smelled it at the airport today. There is a lot of thick amber in that scent. Its richer than the original. There is no airy effect, scent is deep, bit darker than og. Also less salty. I also smell ciggaret note sometimes, dont like that vibe to be honest but it was gone in hour or so. I dont feel like I need it right now. I like divine edp better, but le parfum is not bad at all

This smells amazing. I wasted money on others and this gave me more compliments than Coco brands and so on. This is one of my absolute favorites and it lasts so long. I'm try to use up my Prada Paradoxe and Lancome Iris Absolu. I am willing to sell Lancome Iris Absolu with a picture of how much is in it now. Lancome Iris Absolu is amazing for the winter.

Oh WOW! thats my initial reaction. very very warm vanilla-amber the amber and benzoin is very sweet and balsamic. its a really unique scent more stronger than the orginal and more sweet amber in my opinion. Really strong scent but i wouldnt say it suits the summertime. Would really shine in winter. Not a safe blind buy tbh. 8/10 overall would buy.

Found this on the floor at my favourite cafe/fashion store. Love at first smell, it literally smells divine. Like a summer bouquet, it really turns heads, and not in the typical heavy patchouli way. The toilette version does smell like egg whites, but the parfum really blew my mind and is a sophisticated compliment getter. Get the parfum!

Absolutely beautiful florals with strong amber, even though this leans 100% feminine the amber is too good to ignore and I wouldn't mind wearing this. It's a perfect gift and one of the fragrances that has opened my nose to ambery scents. The longevity and projection is definitely crazy, very much the perfect sunny day fragrance. 9/10

At first I didn't like it (I didn't pay attention to it) because I like the top note, it's very sexy, sweet, gourmet floral water, and the bottle is one of the most beautiful they've ever released. Le Parfum is if you want something more mature, less sweet, and if you liked the top note and want to wear it for the evening, this is it.

Testing my sample; golden sun-cream elixir, very heavy amber, frangipani, and what smells a lot like tuberose alongside the lily, feels thick and waxy. Quite strong, one spray and it's beaming up from my wrist, gets stronger as it mingles with my body heat. Very noticeable. I think you can get away with this all year round.

This is a smooth, feminine, airy, and sweet (but not overly sweet) Spring/Summer fragrance. The solar and frangipani notes are prominent. Which I enjoy. I was disappointed in the original Divine, but Quentin got it right with the Le Parfum edition. The bottle is Chef's Kiss. It's a LOVE for me.

Very smooth scent, great projection, super long-lasting! I always get complimented when I wear this, but I'd recommend a wear-test before buying. This perfume is a very deep, floral, amber scent on me, but a very powdery grandma scent on my bsf lmao so don't blind buy!

This perfume is incredibly beautiful. It's sweet, yes, but it has something animalistic and erotic about it. Simply amazing. It's my new favorite scent. But it's definitely not a perfume for everyone; only for very energetic, sexy women. It's not for boring people.

I couldn't stop thinking about this for weeks after the first time I smelled it. I absolutely love it. It's versatile, deep but not heavy, sweet but not childish. It's my absolute favourite at the moment. I used to not be a fan of florals but this changed my mind.

Beautiful, calming scent. It’s strong enough to last and project but it’s gentle - like a warm beachy day. Not too hot or sweaty, fresh sea air. It’s almost laundry detergent like, but not powdery. Absolutely beautiful smooth fragrance, elegant, feminine. Love it

Got a sample of this today. It’s definitely warmer & less salty than the og. The “solar” accord is there but not in your face rather it sits in the back with the benzoin. I think a man could pull this off even though it’s targeted for women. Not a bad release

This perfume smells like golden hour. Soft, warm, luminous. You must like deep ambery scents, Initially, I felt like it was too boring, as it doesn’t have any stand out notes or sparkle, but this is what I’d reach for when I want to smell glowing and warm.

I'm in love. To my surprise, because I hate the original Divine. This is creamy, ambery, sweet and luminous. The aquatic note is very well balanced. The original smells like rotten seaweed on me, with sugar and heavy lilys on top.

Got this as a 2 ml. Actually really strong and potent. Love it. Scent is really rich and reminds me of when you walk by a woman on the airport who clearly has a more expensive luggage

i love this, the solar notes are lovely, it has this air of clean through the scent, rounded, floral, ambery, i thought apricot but..

This one is potent! My mom tried it at the mall and it lasted all day, projecting far. I love the smell, it's warm and exuberant.

I would love bottle to be lil different than the original one. Darker juice is not enough 🥹. Better that juice be great
