Le Male Collector's Snow Globe

Surprised musk isn't listed as an ingredient with this or the OG Le Male, because I pick up lots of musk in this. It's a clean musk, but even clean musk gives up a sort of animalic vibe, sort of like even after you shower and you put deodorant on and you smell really fresh and clean, people can still get this underlying natural human "musk" once your blood starts flowing and your body heats up and you start to sweat. It won't smell nasty or anything if you're using good deodorant, but people still pick up on it, and it's sexy. That's what Le Male has, it's like if you cleaned up the classic 80s powerhouse scent and added a bit of sweet tonka bean, fresh mint and spicy cinnamon. Great fragrance, it's so simple yet so classic and something that everyone should have. Performance is a bit to be desired, I think if you layered this with something like Ambroxan it would last for ages. Gonna have to pick up some Molecule 2 and test this theory out.

I get it. "This doesn't perform like it use to." That's fine, because I'm reviewing what you can buy now... well... 2019. lol It's still available at discounters. Anyway, I love this scent. It's got a throwback smell that still, I believe, totally works today. The vanilla scent that I get from this, mixed with the old school lavender, just works. It's not a projection beast, but I notice the scent bubble for 6 hours easy. I know it use to be considered a "club scent". It's definitely not that now. Instead I think it's completely versatile. It would work dressed up or dressed down. And the bottle in this version is pretty cool.

really love the package, would be great for next bottles as a stand. the scent of the fragrance is also great.

The initial opening is much more spicy and very cinnamon heavy, but after five minutes that tones down and starts smelling a little more pleasant and closer to the OG. The mint is more like peppermint than actual mint, like the color of the bottle suggests. Unfortunately can't see myself wearing this in the spring like I could with the base flanker. Probably need to wait a few months for it to macerate to give a full opinion on this, since the opening is harsh and the longevity is poor. Totally worth having the bottle in my collection though 😋

Nice I finally found a good alternative to Prada Luna Rossa Black...this may be the closest so far i've found to an alternative to that fragrance. Not a clone, but it's pretty close Edit- okay after smelling this again it's also like a mix between 1 million, Jaguar excellence & Amouage Reflection Man

Soapy, musky, powdery....something sweet in here maybe star anise or something like that. But can definitely smell the vanilla and tonka. You can smell the mint in the opening but mainly the cardamom in this fragrance stands out it smells really soapy

I never knew this was a thing until I saw this magnificent package on a discounter page! Is this identical to the classic Le Male? I'm buying it regardless, it's so cool!!!
