Le Male Eau de Toilette Airlines

I don't own the original Le Male or the Aviator edition which this one is being compared to. So my thoughts are solely based on what I get from this fragrance, without comparison to the others of the line. I was actually surprised by this one, because in stores, I never liked the original Le Male that much and I always ignored it and all of its flankers because of that. But a good price on this one made me buy it (together with some others to save on the shipping), so it introduced me to the Le Male line, and I reach for thise one without thinking about it a lot since I got it. I guess it's because I am a sucker for cardamom and vanilla and I love the touch of sweetness that Le Male Airlines has. This is a fragrance that somehow seems to work for me any day, any season and almost any occasion. It feels so versatile while being somewhat different to all the superversatile "blue" scents.

to me, this smells like La Nuit de L'homme but tweaked for use during daytime, it is a sexy office sent if that makes sense.smells very nice though, projection is average, and duration is just a cuple hours. only a summer hit. EDIT: after some months I sampled Airlines and Aviator side by side. Airlines is Aviator but they replaced the main note of Violet with Cardamom. Airlines smells a tad better for people that obviously like cardamom, it makes it more sexy, while Aviator is more office safe. Cardamom makes it a tad heavy, so this is mostly a spring hit or not that hot summer night for close range on a date.

Hi all, First time wearing JPG Airlines and I'm very pleasant with the scent, I smell mostly lavender, vanilla and some cardamom, but a very sweet lavender any way I enjoy the scent was a very good price also for 75ml,it does smells like something I smelled before but I cannot put my finger on it.

A very good scent, sweet in the opening and kinda spicey in the dry downs, kinda smells like comme des garcons floriental in the dry downs. Longevity in this is decent, I get around 6 or 7 hours on this with projection still at arms length at the 6 hours mark.

Adding some Le Male to my collection (honestly not a fan of the original) and was going to pick up Aviator...but this was substantially cheaper? They are the exact same, bottom of the bottle actually says “Aviator” as stated below.

women love this, no idea if it is the cardamom, the lavender or the mint. This is an average of Aviator+Superman it is like they mixed the best notes of each. If you like those JPG fragrances mentioned, you ́ll love this one.

If Le Male "Le Parfum" is the nighttime fragrance, "Aviator" would be the the daytime version of that. Nice mooth cardamom here. I was initially underwhelmed, but only after a second wearing, I'm in love. Super versatile.

Very happy for the cheap price got at tax free for 40 dollars around, at the start not the most pleasant smell but after 10-15 minutes on the skin it’s very nice and sexy smell. Highly recommend for the price

Really nice fragrance. Super fresh, and not powdery like most Le Male flankers. Only problem I got is it doesn’t last quite as long as I like. Overall 8.5, super solid

A lovely fresh spicy scent with good longevity and sillage. A worthy edition to the Le Male line.

Ok, so I got a 12-2019 bottle of JPG Airlines. Yes, its the earliest one. The first thing that hits my nose is the nuclear Cardamom. Boom! Now, I know; It's Azzaro Wanted by Night. Almost a dead ringer for it, except that this fragrance has a zingy berry effervescence right after the opening. I do get the cardamom, mint and especially the vanilla. But, the cardamom is way, way too much. Too bad. If the mint and berry effervescence were increased; then this would rock again the entire fragrance community because it's very hard to get an effervescence quality into a scent in my opinion. Know of many that have an effervescence quality that hits your nose like champagne??? I do not. What we need here is for JP to tell PUIG to get out of the way, stop cookie cutting and make some dang killer, long-lasting power houses like the old Le Male 1995. Then, sit back and watch the $$$$$ roll in as happy customers spend like drunken congressman.

I was pleasently suprised when I first sprayed this, yes it was a blind buy. Its a very nice smell, kind of powdery and aquatic sweet. This is not the original le male in a different bottle thankfully. As I inspected the bottom of the the bottle it says le male Aviator EDT. Aviator is the new 2020 release in a green bottle, so with what I've figured out this is a limited travel edition of le male aviator not the original le male. Hopefully this helps people out so they are not confused of what it is. I give it a 8/10 because I really like the smell.

Chaos fragrances says this is a little more warm spicey than aviator while aviator is a little more fresh. I’ll take his word for it since he actually has both in hand. Kind of like how everyone says popeye and Superman are the same except those who actually have both in hand UPDATE: Montblanc Emblem Intense with a little added something in the beginning

Gaultier Airlines and Aviator is the same fragrance. My bottle has AVIATOR engraving on the bottom and Gaultier Airlines circle at the front of the bottel as pictured. A box also has two names

The notes listed here are completely wrong, this is just Aviator but in a different packaging, it was originally designed to be sold at airports' duty frees.

This is JPG Aviator. It took me some time to get to know this fragrance. It is an alternate version CH Men minus the leather. Amazing drydown.

Le Male Airlines by Jean Paul Gaultier surprised me when I got this because I'm not too fond of the Le Male collection by JPG but when I saw this on a discount I decided to give it a shot. This fragrance once applied has a strong mint note which isn't amazing but definitely gets the job done what surprised me the most was an incredibly strong cinnamon note which smells really powerful and definitely is not for the faint of heart but still smells amazing but not mass appealing in my opinion. After the strong cinnamon note comes a very soft vanilla which is hard to smell but still interesting as the change from strong cinnamon to that may put some people off but overall it smells nice and definitely the best I've smelled from the Le Male line. Now I can't find a retail price for this fragrance but I was to get this for $68 which I think is a fair price for any Le Male fragrance as their retail price is overpriced in my opinion and this one is definitely worth that price tag but anything more than $150 is a scam for this as it's still not something amazing. Now I was surprised that this fragrance has good longevity as the Le Male line usually doesn't last long on my skin with Le Male Le Parfum only lasting around 30 minutes on my skin example but this fragrance actually lasts longer at around 4-6 hours which is way better than any of the JPG's you can find at your local stores. The sillage is also way better than the average JPG fragrance and can leave a strong trail of cinnamon for a couple hours so definitely better than average. Scent: 7/10 Performance: 6/10 Longevity: 5/10 Sillage: 5/10 Price: 8/10 Blind Buy Safe: 4/10 Overall: 6/10

I don't know why they put the same notes breakdown as the original one. This smells different from the begging till the end. Crazy opening. It just pop up out from the skin and then goes closer and completely change its smell. The dry down its exactly like Tommy Hilfiger Impact edt. It took me few minutes to figure it, but yeah, pretty much the same - 80% similarity. I think it's long lasting, but it doesn't project much. What is going on with le male line? The original one last 5 hours, the parfum isn't versitile, only night time. They stopped the best flanker (in my opinion) essence de Parfum (10+ hours), le beau is also kind of weak and not versitile.... So if I need one versitile from this line I don't have a proper choice. This is what is really lacking in this line. They got the rest but when we talk about every day scent... Not good enough.

Just so everyone knows, this is just a limited edition release of Aviator. The notes listed are wrong, those are OG Le Male, not related to Airlines at all. The bottom even says Aviator. So don't buy this thinking it'll be something crazy different. Its green & got the CH men vibe. It was supposedly a limited edition release to be sold at Airports frees.

Interesting idea but it last 4-5 hours max. So not very satisfied. Will probably sell it 7/10

I love this fragrance, but boy! does it disappoint. It smells great with the spicy cardamom opening and the dry down is just splendid with vanilla, cinnamon, sandalwood and cardamom, All being in the mix projection is also good and cool and mild weather. The real issue is the longevity. I couldn’t get three hours of good projection, and after five the fragrance was gone. Thankfully it’s only about $40 so harm done. 7/10

Modern, generic, too much violet leaf, different from Le Male Original but still JPG style. Scent 6,5/10 Performance 6/10 Versatility 7,5/10

My nose only detects spicy and bitter cardamon from this one. Does not last very long, 2/5 from me.

Just received this as a gift for Christmas. I believe it’s discomfited now but still easy to get hold of. I’m rather impressed with this one. It’s unusual, but as it dries down it becomes very pleasing. It projects for a good few hours on my skin. It actually reminds me of the smell of when you first board a plane. The smell of aviation upholstery and the smokiness of aviation fuel in the air combined with the freshness of when you step into another country as to when the air just smells different. It’s sweet, creamy and it has some lovely green notes. This one is probably better to wear in milder climates. I am a big fan of this so far

This scent is absolutely amazing!! Best jpg I have smelled so far and I own about 9 of them now. It smells nothing like the other many flankers maybe just the vanilla. I think it’s good enough to be worn all year. 10/10 for me. Cardamom is noticeable here. A little touch of la nuit but not much. Reminds more like la nuit de l’homme Frozen Cologne and Bentley momentum intense Performance seems to be above average. Loud for the first 2 hours and then a good scent bubble for the next 5 hours. Not sure why this one doesn’t have a lot of buzz.

This is one of my favorite Le Male versions out there. It is a well-balanced version of many of the Le Male. It is spicy and sweet without going over the top in either direction. I was able to pick this up in the low $40's which is very respectable for the brand and I think any age group can wear this. It is better suited for a cooler summer night or the colder months.

So the note breakdown is the same breakdown as the OG Le Male? Yet it's compared to Aviator, which is the worst fragrance in the Le Male line cuz it has nothing to do with Le Male. Some people say this is the same as Popeye & Superman. It makes no sense. What is this fragrance??

Whoaaaaaaa i need to buy this one to my boyfriend just for the bottle. His favourite perfume is Ralph Lauren Poli Blue. Anyone hears knows if this edition of Le mal is in the same vibe? Cannot find the fragrence in our shops yet. Please, send PM

This is Le Male in a collector's bottle that you can only get at the airport. That's it. The notes and everything are the same as Le Male. You are buying this just for the bottle!

Ah, I remember the good old days, when government allowed me to leave my house, and take an occasional holiday. I guess I'll have to order this one online.
