Le Mâle Eau Fraîche Gaultier Airlines

Somehow this fragrance gets reviewed by people who sprayed it once in the store years ago. I wonder why? :) I bought a bottle and am almost done with it. Here is my $0.02 to you. IMO, this is a summer and slightly modernized version of the original Le Male. It will smell familiar to you, if you actually own Le Male bottle as well, not just spray in the store :) A few notes are dimmed and some are amped up but over all this is a summer version of the original thing. That's it. I like the original Le Male but it could be cloying in the summer. This one does not have that, well not to the same degree (as this is not a high heat fragrance). I actually prefer this one to the original during the warm 6 months and the rest I wear Le Male simply because on a cold day this one does not perform that well. Shame it is discontinued and hard to find but grab it if you can get it for the same price as the original (don't pay crazy money for it as for that price there are better options).

This is very good - extremely fresh and uplifting with a blast of mint in the open that settles into a comforting, clean dry-down. I can see where the comparisons with Chanel Allure Extreme come in - although this one stays a bit more linear throughout. A great warm weather fragrance - if you can find it. Although this has flown more under the radar compared to the Popeye and Superman versions, it seems like the secret is out on this one. Becoming harder to find. Update - July 2025: recently pulled this out of storage and wow - can’t believe I slept on it for so long! The fresh mint-vanilla combo is absolutely perfect for casual summer days! Light, sweet, green, breezy, and just makes me feel good wearing it. 5/5

First impression is it smells like le male + dryer sheets. Super bubble gummy. Smells exactly like the 25 cent gum balls out of a machine. Love the scent. Heard performance could be better. Was gone after about 6 hours. Hits hard the first 1 or 2.

This is the go to scent for summer nights out in a summer resort. Long-lasting and aromatic, definitely noticeable and one of my most personal favourites. People seem to recognise it everywhere too. A safe bet.

From the bottle to the scent, this one is sexy as f*ck!
