Le Male In Blue

I don't want to be a hoarder but I need 10 more of these. Spraying first ten seconds feels like anis alcohol, wait 10 min for the dry down. Oh. Jesus fearing sugar gliders. IT'S HEAVENLY. La Male trying to be Armani trying to be a player in the niche world. So pleasant, so satisfying. Cold euphoric juicy bitter sex appeal elegance. I have it for three days and it's my biggest compliment monster. Women love it, two female friends asked me wow what smells so good? Than get embarrassed when I say it's a men's cologne, (I'll never understand why) and a man at a counter in the cassba actually asked me to wait so he can get a pen so I can write it down for him. The smell is a lot like the ad, 90's, sensual, smooth, euphoric The base feels like lavender anis on what feels to me like unlisted sandalwood + OG Le Male vanilla and candy DNA. It's NOT aquatic and that's where it actually differs from the ad. But in this case the ad art director kinda nailed it. Comforting and sexy. New and cold bitter. Nothing cloying. Oh my heart gonna break even they take this off assembly line. Don't be disappointed: You should know, it's not spicy or poignant it's smooth You should know, It's not extremely mature I'd say age 20 to 45 was probably what JPG were aiming for plus anyone who likes to feel young and elegant. If you like leather tobacco and spice that's not it. You should know, it's bitter icy rather than very sweet, tho it has tad tinny bitty sweetness it's no Le Beau You should know, It's more Armani Code/ Mania family than Le Male family, or sort of the love child of both 😻 I'd make it hot fuchsia stripes on black instead of teal and call it "After Me" instead of "In Blue". I do think it's what I call "Heterosexual boys wanting to smell good for their girlfriends" genre but it's in the upper intellectual level of those. Not a dumb reach. Sex appeal without smelling dated. Unisex Black Opium with more joy and without the heavy library note. Yummy. Yumm. Yummy. I'm happy. Never discontinue this. Le Male In Blue is not only a welcome edition to the longstanding house, but also to the "blue" genre of fragrances. This could easily be a contender for my best purchase this year. When it comes to the Le Male line of fragrances I only have but a handful ( Superman Eau Fraiche, Le Parfum, On Board, Ultra Male, and the OG) but it rivals them quite well in many ways. To my surprise, there are only three notes listed in this perfume and the opening greets me with an anise accord freshened up by the lavender. This can easily be overwhelming for some as its potency easily rivals Ultra Male. It has soft spicy undertones and remains sweet to the senses throughout its lifespan. Speaking of which, it easily lasts 12 hours on my skin even after a shower which is an impressive feat to say the least! I find that it resembles Superman Eau Fraiche most, especially in the opening, though it has the performance of Ultra Male as previously mentioned. It does have a slight resemblance to the OG and Le Parfum in the dry down. Also, it is quite different from what most people would consider a "blue" scent as it is quite sweet as previously mentioned. This can easily be worn all year and can be quite versatile in many situations, though I'd avoid formal settings. It can easily be a perfect night out and date fragrance. Just be mindful of the sprays as four sprays nearly choked me out! The only detriment to the perfume is that it is a limited edition which is a shame. I could see this being a big seller for the line if it were given a proper distribution to major retail outlets. Hopefully, those at JPG will reconsider it limited exclusivity window. I'm very pleased with Le Male In Blue and look forward to many more experiences with it. I can see this as being the Le Male of a new generation, though the OG is quite able to hold its own in the modern day. Hopefully, this review will be a blessing to you!

This smells like what I would expect blonde root beer to smell like. This sits somewhere in between Le Male and LMLP. Still has the classic powder and lavender Le Male base, with a touch of LMLP's enchanting vanilla/benzoin sweetness and the iris note swapped for an intriguing anise note. The anise comes across way more like root beer than licorice to my nose. For those unfamiliar with the note, it is a bit dark and earthy, but it also has this sparkly fresh spicy aroma that doesn't make the DNA feel too Christmassy. While this is pretty versatile and would work virtually anytime besides being outside in extremely hot and humid conditions, I still wouldn't exactly call this a "blue" fragrance. Either way, its interesting and if you tend to enjoy JPG DNA more often than not, you would probably enjoy this. This was the perfect addition to my collection as someone who absolutely adores LMLP but couldn't justify buying it due to already having Le Male Elixir and living in a nearly year round hot climate. Even if you own LMLP I wouldn't call this particularly redundant though. Solid performance, can smell on skin for 10ish hours and has impressive projection for almost half of it. Compared to Armani Code Parfum, I can definitely see the similiarities, but Code at its core is a rich iris and vanilla date night/formal scent, which comes across quite different than Le Male in Blue. Meanwhile, this would absolutely be redundant with the Prada Carbon EDP, only difference between these two is the Prada being more intense, thus less appropriate in warmer weather. Unlike LMLP, Elixir, or LBLP, I wouldn't swear this is good or groundbreaking enough to buy at full retail, but I'm quite happy with my purchase after finding this for $80.

This juice is very good. Don’t be fooled by the name: in blue, this is not a blue fragrance like Dior sauvage or blue de Chanel. In fact, this is a lighter (but not weaker), brighter and fresher version of le male Le parfum. They removed the vanilla and iris notes and replaced them with benzoin and anice. It opens with a blast of lavender, followed by the anice. After a few minutes the anice note takes the top spot, and stays there for the rest of the duration of the fragrance. The anice note never gets overpowering or agressive. It just sits there, providing freshness. Le male in blue is sweet and powdery, but not too sweet. It is very well blended and the freshness of anice creates a beautyful contrast with the powdery sweetnes of the Le parfum dna. In the deep drydown i smelled a little hint of Le male edt. Performance is very good. It projects for 3-4 hours, and It stays on my skin for 8-9 hours. I think you can wear this all year round, except very hot and humid days. You can wear this day and night, dressed up and dressed down. People who like the Armani code line will like this too. The downside of Le male in blue is the price. I paid 100 euro for 75 ml on the Jean Paul Gaultier website. However, I like Le Male in blue so much, that I am gonna get the 125 ml when It hits the discounters. Conclusion: Le Male in blue surprised me positively. I expected a blue fragrance, but got a fresher version of Le Male Le parfum. This in blue is currently my favorite in the line of Le male’s (and I have a lot) followed by Le parfum. It’s a Shame that this is a limited edition. This is the best fresh interpertation of the Le male dna in years. Ten times better than the hot mess that Le male lover was last year. 10/10!

★★★★ My relationship with Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances has been quite frozen since Fleur Du Male. I remember how that fragrance bridged an old school herbality with modern sweet floral accords modern at the time. An intriguing concept to say the least. I also remember how the original Le Male was a very charming minty herbal powdery character that unfortunately lost its soul somewhere in the 2010s. The current formula does not really speak to me. In the sea of Le Male Elixirs, Absolus and whatever else they have created drenched in sweet headache inducing chemicals, Le Male is a breath of fresh air. Its winning points for me are the following: - This one has a hint of the herbal character that was lurking in the original formulation -This composition relies on freshness through the use of a spice: star anise. The overall result is a timeless version of Le Male, one that can all generations can enjoy. Nostalgic enough for the boomers, Gen X and millennials, sweet and charming for the Gen Z. It's so good to be able to smell lavender and spice again in this legendary product line. The intention and vibes the original Le male was conveying in the 90s are all here, only tweaked and in lighter form. Maybe it's time for me to purchase my first JPG bottle in years.

Original Le Male EDT has matured and works in a pharmacy now, I absolutely love it! The only weak spot of Le Male In Blue is the initial opening; it starts with lavender packed in slightly wet cardboard, but that lasts only for a few seconds and then the magic happens. Anise is unexpected, but it's so well combined with the base notes that its medicinal character blends perfectly with the lavender, vanilla, and fougere accord. I'm a pharmacist, and it reminds me of a warm, old (in a good way) pharmacy with wooden cabinets and jars filled with natural ingredients. It's much more refined than the original Le Male and suits more occasions. After the opening, it gets warmer and sweeter; it starts to remind me of chocolates with a herbal filling, as the anise loses its potency and becomes more woody, almost like absinthe. How the perfumer got this blend to smell so seductive and intoxicating is a true wonder. The drydown is still a warm, chocolate-like, woody vanilla, and it projects well the whole time. Although it's a warm scent, it's cooled down by the anise-absinthe accord and is suitable for a variety of uses, except for hot weather. I think it's my favourite designer release of this year, what a gorgeous one! Scent: 9/10 Lengevity: 8/10 Projecrion: 7.5/10

I love this fragrance from someone who have all the Le male and scandal line. This hit different, it really does. I was skeptical of getting this fragrance due to the people down talking it but now I’m glad that bought it. It start out strong but the dry down which does not take long to a semi musk beautiful scent. The spice is very mild. It is different but it’s ok to be different right. Pick up a sample, it’s different in a good way in my opinion. You can’t compare them with any other lineup, I have Le male the OG, ultra male, I don’t have JPG Le parfum in the Black bottle bcz to me if you have the OG that one is just a bit sweeter to me and last a bit longer nothing much more impressive to me. I love the Le Male in Blue, I even have the Narcisse that just came out and they are two different scents that are very good and different. 1 day later; Ok so after wearing this fragrance at work I will say you only going to get a 4-5 hr projection and after skin scent for me you go back and put some more on it will last you for another 4-5 hrs projection but like I say it sell a great fragrance it smells good...

There seems to be a lot of hate or dislike for this which confuses me. It's a flanker of Le male, so if it's a flanker you have to expect it to have the DNA of the Le Male range. Le beau on the other hand doesn't seem to follow that which for me is also fine, example, flower edition and the new narcisse are nothing like le beau EDT or EDP, which is fine. But sooo much hate that goes something like it smells like the original so what's the point...., or it's like the original mixed with the EDP version.... or it's like the original but a with something that I don't like etc etc.... it's a flanker, and it's a lovely one too, it's kind of fresh in a more warm summer night kinda way. If you are a fan of Le male EDP then this is a new alternative to it, the anise is prominent but is mingled with the lavender nicely. For me it's a banger. JPG make great fragrances, look at Bleu de chanel, the definition of a cash grab or even sauvage, that feels like same ole same ole. At least JPG are trying to do something, whilst sticking to what makes them great. Recommended 👌

This might be the best Le Male yet. Le Male Le Parfum, Elixir, Elixir absolu, OG Le Male - I have and love those; They are super sweet though. Kind of a younger mans scent. Le Male Elixir & Elixir absolu are also very loud. Im starting to really love this one. Its more manly, less sweet and changes during the wear. Very enjoyable. Its the Le Male DNA in the background. I find it similar to the original Le Male. You can definitely see the lineage and its connection to the line. To me it's also close to Armani Code Parfum. If Code Parfum and OG Le Male had a baby. Imagine Armani Code Parfum with the lavender turned down a bit and Anise added. Where Armani Code is pretty linear. This JPG really changes throughout the wearing experience - giving you Anise 'Arak' boozyness in the drydown. The performance is not at the same level as Le Male Elixir or Elixir absolu. Its more and average projector with good lasting ability. This is a 10/10 for me and bottle worthy.

They've really tried something new, stepping outside of Le Male's usual style, but I'm very undecided whether it's good or bad. The anise is ridiculously overpowering, and the fact that there are only three notes makes me feel like something is missing. You want more from the fragrance, but it stays the same: metallic spices and a bit of freshness; I can't tell if there's lavender or not. Edit -I've been using it for two days and what I liked most were the opening and the middle part as it dries. The opening has a citrusy, bubbly, gassy feel, with a hint of blue and metallic notes. This opening is captivating, just like Ultra Male, but it's too short to fully appreciate it. After that, it transforms into a clean, refreshing, spicy, creamy scent, and lovely aromas waft through the air. It's definitely a nice and unique addition to the Flanker series, especially the longevity; it lasts over 15 hours on me.

After using it for a long time, I can say that it's definitely not as bad as people say. The opening, though brief, creates a lemony, metallic blue burst. After that, a dry but fresh, invigorating lavender and a metallic anise base emerge, and I absolutely loved it. It leaves such a beautiful trail in the air, I can't even describe it. My girlfriend loves it too. When it dries, it transforms into a sweet, relaxing scent; I really can't stop smelling it. As for performance, for my skin, the sillage is satisfying for the first few hours, then it becomes a scent that someone sitting next to you might detect when the air blows. On my skin, it's quite long-lasting, definitely 10 hours. It shouldn't be bought without trying it, but those who like it will really love it. It's an everyday perfume suitable for any occasion.

Wow, quite the bashing with the reviews. While I respect everyone's opinion - I really like this. Gave it a "Love". It definitely has that Le Male Le Parfum vibe. Consider that the base scent and then add a touch of Armani Code AND a touch of YSL Y EDP. Awesome combo to me! Been wearing it all day and the dry down goes the way of Le Male Le Parfum, which I do love. My opinion differs greatly from the Fragrantica rating and neg reviews, I would give it a 4.5 Fragrantica Score and a 9.25! It has good longevity, still going strong after 8 hours and most important - my wife loves it on me! (and remember - Just because it does not live up to a high expectation does not mean it is bad.)

I liked this scent , it smells like the original version, but with a anise twist and it also has one of my favorite notas , lavender but a little bit past the beginning the similarity fades a little bit and star anise appears with a little touch of benzoin, I thought it would be worse. It is better than the original. And one of my favorites ( le male le Parfum and le beau paradise garden) I don't know why people hate this. A solid 7,5/10 I will test the performance, but I think it will be great, right now the projection is incredible If you don't have the original buy this if you can because right now it's like 100$ at discounters.

This is a really nice addition to the line. Nice lavender opening then, after only about 5-10 minutes, the anise comes in and, to my taste, it is really pleasant. The anise comes across very similar to a bright liquorice, which I enjoy and, in that respect, it is in the same wheelhouse at Prada Carbon EDP, although it doesn't smell the same. I'd say it has bits of the original Le Male, bits of Prada Carbon EDP, but it also does its own thing. Longevity is pretty good too, not a projection monster, but that's not what I want so it's ideal for me. All in all, don't listen to negative reviews without at least trying it..

people who hate it would probably jump off a building if FBfragrances , FragranceFlan , Noel thomas or any other influencer said so. beacuse this is an absolutely beautiful fragrance that takes the le male dna and makes it smoother , with added anice that makes it versatile and have a sweet metallic scent that leaves a very good trail , bought it in dubai and i dont regret it , it is my fragrance of the vacation even though i bought it on the way home. i kinda get sauvage vibes , i would say it smells like 40% le male , 40% le male le parfum and 20% dior sauvage

I finally got to smell it today, and I quite like it. I really can’t understand all the hate. Yes, it smells like the OG EDT, but it’s a fresher and younger version. I own the whole Le Male collection, and they’re all so good, but they can be very strong. Sometimes they’re a bit too beast mode for certain occasions. Le Male in Blue is the most balanced one for me. I bought one after testing it on my skin for 2–3 hours. It’s just so nice to me.

I just got it today and it is beyond worth it. The opening is similar to the original Le Male but as it dries down it gets a bit sweeter but still smooth and slightly fresh due to the lavender. Also if you buy it on the JPG website you can enter “ICONICLEMALE” and get a free splash bottle of Le male elixir absolu (not good in my opinion), and a Le Male shower gel and travel spray. 10/10 fragrance overall, would highly recommend.

This is nicer than what people make it out to be. Tested this today, got a compliment at a cafe asking what I was wearing. It’s simple, inoffensive, smells great. Easy dumb reach for daily wear. The only downside for me, is the drydown is too sweet and basic tonka/benzoin. Wish Bisch had been a bit more playful in the base notes - I want more violet leaf, and I think patchouli or sandalwood and less of tonka.

Best Le Male in quite a while. Brings me back to the OG Black Code, but a lighter, more metallic interpretation. It figures that it would have a low rating, since it is actually good. That’s how this site works. Never ever write off a fragrance just because influencers, reviews, and comments are negative. Some of my lifelong favorites are scents that the ‘influencers’ and reviewers dislike.....

Reminds me of Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin, which I absolutely adore! Au Masculin smells more complex, but it's also discontinued & expensive as shit to get hold of. This is straight up anise, but the sharpness of it is leveled out by supporting lavender & benzoin. Soft & creamy anise. Didn't know that Anise / Liquorice was such a polarizing note. It's a bit of a shock, to be honest! 🤯

I really dont understand all the hate, feels like people bash it just because its similar to other jpgs (duh its their dna). It smells like le male with sweet and spicy aniselicorice and maybe less of the shower gel vibe. If you dont like the smell of anise dont buy it, but its a good sweet candylicorice take on a blue fragrance. I think its a really good every day signature scent.

As a woman, this is one of the best male releases I have smelt as of late. The DNA of the original Le Male is clearly recognizable, but this edition has its own charm and character. Besides a slight aromatic sweetness, I also get aquatic notes in the background, making me think that this could be a nice fragrance to wear on a summer evening at the seaside.

A new take on the iconic line an aromatic spicy fragrance that feels fresh yet warm at the same time it opens with refreshing blue lavender followed by a noticeable metallic anise note the dry down is smooth benzoin with a subtle hint of salt and bright marine touches fresh with a marine twist balanced by a warm spicy edge I loved it

This scent is a great example of why you shouldn't listen to influencers. I love this scent and to me, doesn't really smell like the OG. So alluring! In addition, people not only said it smells good but have asked "what do you have on?". Crazy to me how wrong the influencers got it though it is just thier opinion as this is mine.

The fragrance smell very good, honestly speaking if you have La Male parfum in the Black bodied bottle u have this one to my nose on my skin, so if any hate on this one would be why come out with something with the same or almost 95% same DNA. To me this was a waste of time and effort with the brand....

Second review to this perfume that I finally got my hands on, it's smells very different, not like every jpg, but it has it's own uniqueness, clean, spicy, and if you sniff it more, you can feel the coolness (icy, almost like a mint maybe) too. Another 10/10 of Gautierillics.

This is a really good release different from the newer flankers...This is how i always have imagined a more intense version of the original le male would smells like and they did it so well. Love the metallic anise and clean lavender benzoin combo. This is a 9.0/10 for me.

Dispel the disappointment you heard about this latest release. If you like the original Le Male, this is a fresher more modern take on it. It's really quite nice and lasts throughout the day. There will be plenty more Le Male flakers to come, like them or hate them.😁

A great hommage to early 2000’s oriental fougères. Reminds me of Pi, Le Male, Dreamer, Au Masculin... Dry, hay-like lavender, anise on a bed of almond and tonka. This is not super sweet or loaded with nuclear molecules, this explains such low ratings, but it’s great

The anise adds a nice spicy freshness to the Le Male DNA. Performance is also good with 8+ hours. I think it's a solid release. I also have Le Male Lover and I don't think this is redundant if you like the DNA and want something with a "zingy pop".

I fucking love this fragrance im a sucker for anything anise. I’m a really big fan of the original le male but I’m tired of getting told I smell like a dad or a grandpa lol this fragrance amps up the le male dna and I’m in love 40/10

having owned a lot of the JPG collection over the years, I feel This one will be another flash in the pan flanker deviating too much from the core profile that makes Le Male, Le Male! It's safe to say this should have stayed in the blind test groups and not reached public sale and that This will go the same way that the more recent "Le Male Lover" did. There will be a small group who like if not love it (situation-ally) , but the majority of people will not like this edition and that will cause it to be forgotten within the typical 2 year cycle - sooner if JPG release another Le Male in that time. This is not a "blue" fragrance despite its name, its not a daily wear, not a "no brainier", dumb reach. No Sir! Now, On to the Fragrance --- Highly advise to TEST this one out on SKIN, its not true scent profile on tester strip or clothes. I would suggest spray generously on your elbows so that you give it a fair chance of not overwhelming you from the wrists or neck. If it doesn't completely throw you off, try your wrists a day or two later. Once you know what to expect - It might change your initial reaction rather than going full on from the first spray., and you might like it a bit more. It is not Mass Appealing, but that's OK, I don't honestly think JPG were looking to keep this one around long term, it's more of a toe in the water, a departure from the trademark vanilla-amber sweetness - to see the market's reaction. Not a wasted scent but Perhaps a wasted name on this one and also released in the wrong line... It should have been called "Le beau male fresh", to keep in line with the experimental, out of context 2013 line, that way no one would have cared as much for the release and they could have saved "Le Male in Blue"or a more mass appealing banger. What I'm saying here is that its the anticipation and naming of this fragrance from a well known house like PUIG, seems to be driving the fragrance rather than the nose behind the fragrance from the designer. i.e .. this is released by the marketing dept at PUIG, not a perfumer at JPG. I can say it 100 other ways too but you get it. That's my 2 cents, thanks for reading. Peace out!

A beautiful scent, but no projection. Today I finally tried the new JPG Le male In Blue and I was looking forward to finally smell. At first i recieved it on a sticker, i felt a nice dose of that classic Le male lavender with its sweet touch. I liked the scent quite a lot. It was about time for JPG making a lighter perfume for the Le Male since they have made two strong and dark elixirs. I feel like this takes the Le male Le Parfum and the original scents into a different way. It is a beautiful scent, no complaining about that but the performance on this?? I don't know if the store that had this one didn't recieve a good tester, maybe something was wrong with it, but not feeling the scent without sniffing very close to your hand is a big warning sign. I could not smell this from the short distance from my hand to my nose as i walking, i had to move my hand close to my nose to only then get a whiff of it. My sister who i was walking around with it, couldnt sense it just after 5 minutes of me wearing it. So what went wrong? Did they go too light with the notes and made this a more of a lowk scent? Or was the batch just horrible? I mean for a new fragrance i highly doubt it has been made in the wrong way. For a JPG longevity and projection has never been the problem. For a designer they always tend to make strong and durable fragrances, but this one didnt feel like it was their own. I even thought if it was an EDT, but on package it says EDP. Now i do know the oil percentages doesnt have that much of a differences because at the end of the day it is about the notes and the quality of them. But JPG could have figured something out with this. I would love to have this in my collection but damn it, the projection is worse than a 1 euro fragrance that you find in a dollarstore. Scent 8/10 Projection 2/10 Longevity 8/10 solid 7 hours

I don’t dislike this fragrance, but it feels very redundant to have it and the original. The staying power and projection and very good, the dry down is great, but as others have said, it’s just Le Male EDT with some anise. That’s it. And that is also why this is only “OK” for me. There’s nothing fresh or metallic or wave or blue or any of the buzzwords from the advertising. This might have been a good time to take a page from the SWY book and just called it Le Male Licorice. If you don’t have the original, or if you miss the staying power of the original from 15+ years ago, then I absolutely recommend this. But, if like me, you have no issue with the longevity of the current EDT batches then this is unnecessary. Bottle looks good though!

It smells like the original only with added liquorice... not overpowering liquorice just slightly spicy. You can tell it’s still a Le Male. All year round scent. If you like OG Le Male you’ll like this. Good performance. Has a HINT of SAUVAGE ELIXIR about it... just a pinch. This isn’t the DISASTER everyone has been saying it is. It’s perfectly wearable and pleasant... a spicy Le Male. Black stripes on the bottle are actually clear/see through when held up to the light. Performance is good but this is not a beast mode scent. Age 16+. Good for holidays or clubbing. 7.75/10.

So my gateway to fragrance was L'Occitane's men's line of the early 2000s. My first bottle from them was the anis heavy Eau Du Badian. My signature for years has been their beloved lavender fragrance L'Occitan. This smells exactly like someone layered the anis and lavender. It's a perfect match. I do wish it had something like the pepper or cedar from L'Occitan to cut it. Without that it reads a little powdery but stll masculine. And the hate is not deserved - it's perfectly pleasant if you like those notes. If you don't why would you wear it at all?

The lavender reminds me of armani code line I sniffed throughout my life in sephora but not sure which one exactly. I have le male le parfum and find this similar on the dry down. I got this as a gift from my mom she liked on paper and bought but the next day on my skin she didn’t like much, probably the anise note. If you’re willing to buy, should first test on skin. Good performance and nice smelling for me, but can me redundant because of le parfum. I’m not an expert but I liked it

bought a sample of this. a nice fragrance, that's all I have to say. it reminds me of Rayhaan Elixir (even if that is a dupe of Le Male Elixir, if you remove the Vanilla more or less it's the same scent) as I own it, except that the lavender and benzoin (that both fragrances share) are made much much better in the jpg. on my skin it lasts about 6 hours before becoming barely noticeable. I feel like this can be worn at any time except when it's especially hot.

got a tester. I happen to like the scent of Anise, and so I enjoy this JPG. I read the reviews and it gets a lot of flack, I understand it, as I know many folks who does not like licorice, anise etc. But for those who do, it is really pleasent. Its simplistic and that is also fine. The silage is not great, but that could also be an advantage if you like body close scent profiles. Great for office wear, Most beautiful bottle around,

I have owned the perfume since today. It is not at all what I expected. Anyone expecting a fresh take on Dior Sauvage or Bleu de Chanel will be disappointed. At the opening, the anise note is very strong, but once the fragrance settles, it becomes sweet and closely resembles JPG Le Parfum. For that reason, some may find it too similar to Le Parfum. It is not bad—certainly not—but it is different from what I had anticipated.

The scent opens very much like Armani Code, and as it dries down it starts to resemble Le Male Le Parfum, but not exactly. It sits somewhere between Armani Code and Le Male Le Parfum. I think it turned out pretty nice, but I’m not sure if it’s really worth buying. Honestly, I don’t think it can be compared to either Le Male Le Parfum, Le Male Elixir, or Ultra Male. 7/10

I don't get the hate for this. Is it the all hail arabian dupes fan club voting it down or maybe that love / hate relationship for licorice? Well who knows lol. It's not groundbreaking in any way. It's still that trusty JPG smell lingering in basically all their releases but I still find it pretty good with that added anis note to it. Not a 5/5 but easily a 4/5.

Really over hated fragrance and a solid release from JPG. Takes the OG Le Male DNA and mixes it with some facets from the Le Parfum. Spicy and sweet, the anise is noticeable but not overbearingly spicy. Great flanker, highly recommend it.

i don't understand the hate about this fragrance, i mean it is a little underwhelming but it doesn't mean its a bad fragrance, this is still a great fragrance. People now are just hating on something purely due to the fact its new :(

Unfortunately the opening is really bad, however once Le Male in Blue dries down, it becomes pretty nice. It’s somewhat like Le Male Le Parfum, but fresh. It’s the kind of fragrance you can wear at any time.
