Le Male On Board

I initially thought this fragrance was nice, if a little weak. It turned out I was just going nose blind to it. People were commenting on this fragrance several hours after I applied it and I was picking up the scent after being outside in the breeze, where I wasn't constantly smelling it. When I realized that it was performing well, it quickly turned into one of my go-to fragrances for spring and summer days. Now that I'm wearing it more frequently, I regularly receive compliments (some of them very enthusiastic) when wearing it to go out during the day, including from a couple of people I know, who typically dislike perfumes in general. This fragrance smells surprisingly complex for such a simple note breakdown. It's slightly sweet and fruity, has a hint of a rosy floral, a touch of a green note and a mild spiciness. The way it all blends together, makes the fragrance smell cozy, smooth and refreshing. It projects well in the heat and lasts for 7-8 hours on my skin. I'd consider this to be a mass-appealing, fresh fragrance, great for casual daytime outings, on warm days. This was a blind-buy win for me. I ended up buying 3 bottles as backups, since it was a limited release. I should be set for spring and summer for the next couple of years. I hope that by the time I run out, JPG does another release of this, or something very similar.

A little bit CH men but not as green or sweet and with no leather, a bit JPG Aviator but not as 'harsh' (because of the violet leaf zing, it's not a bad thing). The fragrance feels clean from the start with 10 to 15 minutes of bergamot and has a light bubblegum undertone that you can pick from time to time along with the green note and something that feels almost like cinnamon but light and just the powdery part of it. The citrusy part of the fragrance carries well 1:30 into the drydown. I don't think I can pick up any woods but the tonka tricks me a bit and it's linear, I'd say it just keeps getting rounder and rounder for 6-7 hours until it is just a tonka skin scent and it's definitely a sweet freshie. It does remind me of mint bubble gum sometimes and it's totally on the crowd pleaser side of things while being a fragrance for warm weather so yeah. It's lovely.

This is a nice scent, opening has a blast of bergamot+geranium, half and half, bergamot is not a fresh Dior bergamot, is just nice bergamot that is not a fresh bomb and a tad dark, and geranium is more like cardamom style geranium if that makes sense (a tad heavier geranium). EDIT: I used it many times in summer, turns into a "fresh" scent even in hot summer days, this smells similar to Airlines, but On Board replaces the Cardamom that is in Airlines with Geranium to make it fresh. On Board is for summer and Airlines is for spring or not that hot summer nights, a slight difference that is important. Also, I have used this in very hot days and got compliments, this thing lasts 10hrs easily, proyect the firt 2-3 hrs then it progressively turns into a skin scent.

Unpopolar opinion, it's underrated as f*ck! I read bad reviews about it so i esitated a lot before buying this and i regret it, i should have bought this a lot of time ago. It's totally a banger for summer, has some similarities with Ch Men but it's a lot fresher and better smelling for me. It has a simple note breakdown but it smell complex as other said, i surely smell geranium here and it's blended heavenly with the tonka. I get 8 hours with average sillage, really satisfied about this fragrance and i wasn't expecting that, recommended! 8,5/10

Very Underrated Fragrance, IMO. This to me smells like a Mix of JPG Le Male Eau Fraiche 70% and CH Men 30%. The Opening has that CH men leather with Sweetness on top + Added freshness that makes it more versatile and as it dries down it starts to lean more towards Eau Fraiche while still having Small Hints of CH Men in the background and this thing Projects Pretty darn good and Longevity on skin is easily 9+ hours for me. Absolutely bottle worthy, I wouldn’t hesitate on buying this one if you like both CH men and JPG Le Male Eau Fraiche 👍🏻.

My all time highest complimented fragrance, out of every cologne I’ve ever worn this has got the most attention in-fact by complete strangers. Although not as fresh as jpg ultra male it’s still very sporty. I have colognes that resonate with my taste much more and am biased on however this is by far my best performing fragrance. I recommend using it on an under layer like an undershirt and it will last all day. You can’t go wrong with this one simply by the compliment factor.

Sometimes you don't want any falderal with a fragrance. You just want to spray it for certain occasions and know it ticks the box. Le Male On Board is a flanker that hits that nail right on the head. It's an uncomplicated, fresh, sweet, clean, well performing and pleasant smelling fragrance that doesn't cost too much. For casual/regular Spring/Summer use it's great. CONCLUSION | ★★★★ Although it's not earth shattering, I'm digging it! ;)

This is my favorite from the Le Male line... I know it’s not a popular opinion, and it’s not like I’m a fan of the others, but this is the one I like the most by far. There are fewer notes involved, and they’re more balanced, smelling less synthetic and/or less sweet than the others. Geranium, tonka bean, amber, voilá. It’s not mindblowing, but it’s pleasant.

Best one from this Le Male line. This has became my favourite one of my collection. I have about 30 fragrances to choose from but i've been wearing mainly this one for weeks now. Very easy to wear and i think this is all year around scent. Works great in the office too. Not too powerful. Just beautiful.

Wonderful summer scent, not a typical le male, this is an explicitly unique delicacy. It's a great pity that it was available limitedly. Somehow they always do this with the best scents. I wonder why. In Gautier scent such delicious Bergamot has not featured yet. Fantastic! Who has a bottle for sale?

One of the easiest to wear perfumes in any seasons. Lovable, sweet and fresh and light, but performs well with adorable sillage. This is the one we need when we just want to smell good and well put together, no worry of offending anybody around us.

I can see this one will get much hate in the frag com just because. But don't be fooled! Just got it today and I can say the scent is lovely. Its a crowd pleaser for sure but it also pleases my senses. So far its a love from me.

Very simple fragrance, but still very good. I don't really care much for the opening as much as I care for the dry-down. Nice fresh and sweet in the dry-down which I absolutely love and it makes it very worth it for me.

Another fresh flanker with the core original DNA deep down in there. I enjoy it. Nice and clean and the drydown lasts quite a while. Surprisingly works well in winter and cooler weather 💙❄️😁

Ι like this one! Light, fresh, sweet with ok projection and longevity and very good price. No marine note (finally a new fresh sweet fragrance without the sea/rock/fish smell that i hate).

Poor Le Male, the OG is still probably my favorite. Le Parfum is a close second of the flankers that are still in production. In my opinion this line has been more disappointing than successful. I like this. I bought it simply because it's a mass appealing everyday wear. Le Male On Board is about as mass appealing as it gets. It balances fresh and sweet in the most easy going way. Opening is bergamot. The bergamot is in no way special, just an average bergamot note. The Geranium is alittle watery. The amber and tonka are probably the most simplistic average designer types you'll come across. It's also noticeably synthetic. This flanker perfectly summarizes the Le Male line. Nice, mass appealing, but nothing special. This line is quite overhyped by the "fragrance influencers". I'm always rooting for JPG since I adore the OG Le Male. This one is nice especially since it's still available on discounters sometimes, plus all of the summer flankers are gone. These fresher summer Le Males never seem to stay on the market to long. I enjoy this simply because it's impossible to hate this smell. Nice spring, summer and even fall scent. Loads of versatility and mass appeal. I've come to expect this from the line and not anything game changing like the OG. If you can find it on discounters it's worth a grab for dumb reach everyday wear. I got a tester for like $60, pretty good deal.

JPG came out swinging these last few years with the Le Male line. Flankers abound, enticing fans with that candy sweet clubbing formula and in this instance with Le Male on Board something summery and pleasant. To be perfectly honest this is a slam dunk with just one caveat; performance. Where with the original as well as the other flankers perform like nuclear reactors. Le Male on Board strangely underwhelms in the performance department. It is a damn shame too because the composition is truly bright and fresh. Now I am not trying to wear perfumes to please others, however I would like to be able to smell it on myself. The simple notes work perfectly together and they shimmer all the way through to the amber base. Le Male on Board is not overly sweet, packs some decent citrus and is not too cloying with the tonka. The addition of the geranium is brilliant and truly maintains the freshness of this scent. With Le Male on Board think summer, spring and days out on the town. Heat definitely will help the notes to pop and some extra applying is definitely necessary to help in the longevity and performance department. This fragrance is definitely office safe and perfect for the 20 and up crowd. Give Le Male on Board a few sprays when you want to feel as bright as the sun that greets you on that beach you always imagine yourself laying on.

This is a very pleasant and even alluring scent that you shouldn't judge by the opening. It's mostly a sweet tonka with some freshness that gives this a casual/playful and easy going vibe. The Le Male DNA is detectable in the drydown and I gotta say it is very mass appealing even if it's not breaking any new ground, and also has a subtle sexiness about it. Now I must say that the presentation gives off the impression that this flanker is a summer scent, and to be honest it's not, in fact this is really geared for mild weather. It's not quite fresh enough for summer, but it would be a fantastic choice for a mild autumn/spring day or a cool summer night. Performance is very solid, I get around 5-6 hours with constant wafts. Absolutely one of the best looking Le Male bottles, too, and being a fan of the line I just had to have it. If you want a current Le Male for hot weather, look at the Pride editions 2022/2023, same juice for both years, and just amazing for summer. But On Board holds its own as a solid transitional season and mild weather dumb reach that you can just spray, not have to think about, and have you smelling really, really good.

Great addition to the line. I’ve held off with my review until I’ve had enough experience with this one. Open bright w/bergamot already playing around with the sweet hay note of the tonka with the sweet floral of geranium. It’s pretty well blended...so although fresh at the opening, it’s hinting to what you’re going to get for most of its longevity. Amber is here to add depth w/additional powdery sweetness. Overall, one get a very fresh sweet combo of tonka and geranium. It really is a great take for a new warm weather fragrance...although I think, like Aviator, one can wear this one year round. Longevity is above average. I get pretty close to a full work day, especially if I spray on clothes. Warm weather certainly brings this one to life (as it does any sweeter fragrance). Pretty good for any occasion...I would just spray less for business or more formal wear. Overall, it’s really nice. Happy to have it. I will happily work this and Aviator into my spring/summer rotation for next few years.
