Best Le Male Fragrance for Summer! Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Pride 2023 So, I tried this fragrance a few days back, and things got interesting. Used to get nods for my old scents, especially from guys who looked a bit worried, like they saw me as a romance rival. There was this vibe, like they thought I might be ruining their relationship. But now, with this new perfume, it's like a whole different story. The compliments I'm getting have this relieved tone, like they finally figured out I'm not in the love competition anymore. In short global marriages went from unsafe to safe really quick. It's like my scent went from rival to "safe zone." Love it! i love this fragrance so much, i have purchase 4 x125ml bottles as a backup , i know this is limited edition and will be discontinued. My Rating for this beautiful fragrance 10/10 stars .

guys, JEAN PAUL IS GAY, like SUPER gay, gayer than you can even imagine. What difference is le male elixir, le male, ultra male, when it's all in the vision of HIM. This is a GORGEOUS orange smell, if it wasn't for these tunnel vision reviews, this is an easy 4.0 fragrance. It is truly a shame, what people allow their opinions to be influenced by, it does not hurt to be open minded, much less about a fragrance. With all due respect in the world, please, I know you're capable of handling this with more maturity. Yes you, to the one reading this review, this fragrance might just leave you wondering if you really stand for what you hate.

Its smells fresh, on the bitter side because of the blood orange and yuzu. But I also get the kinda creamier/sweet part from the white flowers. Like the white flowers are wrapping the citrus notes. It has good longevity (5 or 6 hours). I never smelled anything like it so i cant compare it to something else. And I like it but it also smells like a typical male deodorant? I dont know how to describe it. Not the aerosol part of a deodorant or an antitranspirant, but the actual perfume. I would recommend it for spring and summer (here in Argentina its pretty hot already). I really like the bottle also. Its my first JPG perfume. 3/5 stars

This is the 2022 Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male and Classique Pride release. It does not smell like any fragrance listed other than the 2022 Le Male Pride and both Classique Pride releases. It is a pleasant citrus neroli fragrance. As stated in my review for the previous Le Male Pride, it is a great fragrance for warmer spring and summer days. It is Neroli-centric fragrance like Neroli Portifino, Ferrari Bright Neroli, etc. That said, it is a smoother one with good projection and performance. I am not LGBTQIA+ so maybe just maybe I would remove the sweater. I like the 2022 one not the one for this. That is a minor thing though...

Someone really needs to moderate these reviews... Anyway, yes, this leans especially feminine. If you're not cool with that, don't wear it. It smells just like Spree candy to me, not sure how else to describe it beyond the notes already mentioned on this page. Which I enjoy, and so does my female companion ("I don't hate it" were her words, which for most of the scents I wear is saying a lot). Luckily all the hate has driven the cost down and full size can be had for less than $80!

2025 and people are bashing a perfume because is made by a gay guy and supposedly is for gays??? I mean, wtf??? Who the f....ck actually cares if it is made by a gay and is for gays?! Why are people so worried about a perfume with "pride" written on it? Again, i am not gay, this perfume smells great and has amazing performance. Great for summer. GROW THE F.... UP AND LIVE AND LET LIVE.

Don’t believe the ratings. This is probably the longest lasting freshie in my collection, I easily get 12 hours and it’s eternal on fabric, literal days. Opens with a sharp/tart citrus with an almost vanilla woody base. Dries down to more neroli and woods then finally a musky fabric softener vibe at around 8-10 hour mark. Makes my clothes smell like fresh laundry for a week+.

Yep, i ́ve tried several times and is ... GREAT, JUST GREAT. So fresh, so light, so strong, so summer, so good. It ́s floral, citrus, fruity, happy, innocent, so clean, so... good. I love strong, monster, nuclear scents like the king Kouros, Aramis, Aramis 900, Le Male or Anteaus, but is just fucking spectacular!!! Great longevity and monster projection.

Wow, first JPG I've found to be full bottle worthy. Amazing citrus opening - that yuzu really comes through. Settles into a bright, uplifting, slightly-soapy neroli scent with a light woody undertone. I'm really loving this one. UPDATE: Not since Sauvage first came out have I had a fragrance that's garnered as many compliments as JPG Pride has.

I really don ́t understand the hate speach. This fragrance smells amazing, it ́s citrus, fresh, floral and fruity. It ́s really strange some remarks about this scent, but well. Good longevity and still trying to figure out the sillage, but seems great. If you like fruity, lemony and fresh scents this is for you. Don ́t mind the hatemongers.

Me personally i don't think it deserves the hate it lasts like around 7 hours on skin which is not that bad but alright but the floral type of smell gets good compliments and the citrus is what makes it sweet so its good so i don't understand the hate plus this is a good everyday wear and a lot of people love it including me.

does somebody have information about the perfumer? yesterday 2 people said to me "I like your perfume". And I was surprised because I was not expecting compliments from this particular scent.

BEAUTIFUL fragrance. I never smelled something like this. The silver coloring makes sense because it does smell how silver surfer would smell. 10/10

I love the smell on a girl. Would buy for a girlfriend of gay friend. Would never wear on myself though. Not my vibe, too fruity.

Starting off i want to address the review bombing, if you are a man who is comfortable with himself there is no reason this should bother you, fun fact, most of the well known jpg frags people adore like le male were once upon a time considered too feminine, almost as if it were made by a gay man for gay men, yet when it is outright said or shown people go crazy, we love to take what we like from marginalized groups and give nothing in return but hate, evaluate yourself if you hate someone for simply being. Now, with that out of the way i gave this a chance after seeing it for 30 bucks since it was used as a tester at a local pharmacy and i thought well shoot why not, and i must say i am quite impressed the musky, fruity sweetness this gives off is well blended and nuanced the blood orange is a note i am very familiar with since its a common food amongst my family, this is refined and playful at the same time, its masculine in a very odd way, it makes me think of a guy that doesn’t care what you think and is confident in his own skin definitely a great freshie for summer and spring maybe even early fall, this stuff is great, good longevity and projection too for an edt. Absolutely a great buy for even 80$ and if you can find it for cheap its a no brainer if you like the scent profile, not too sure about it being blind buy worthy because it might not be for everyone but its great. Overall rating 8.5/10

As a gay male, I love this! I normally don’t like citrus scents, but this combo works! This is actually a dupe for Tom Ford’s Neroli perfume. The safe, citrus floral scent is perfect for the vibrant LGBT community. It’s a very bright and fruity scent, definitely unisex. This is a go to reach for me when I want to feel confident and get through the day feeling proud of myself! Longevity on this is actually solid for an Eau De Toilette! I actually have gotten many compliments with this and it lasts around 4-6 hours. If you own Pride 2022, this is the exact same scent! Just new packaging and bottle, (I definitely prefer this design!).

Got this a little over a month ago. I bought it thinking it would smell somewhat like MYSLF since it's a citrus-floral, however, it did not. The Yuzu note in this is very strong, it was the only thing I could smell honestly. It is a pretty clean fragrance, not like shower-clean but aftershave-clean. (It deadass smells like a barbershop). I'll update once it is macerated, as typical of all JPGs.

Kinda surprised with the reviews here, for me there is nothing bad about it, it is fresh and citrusy with hints of white flowers, but maybe a bit pricey for what it offers

Very bright, there are multiple notes but it is kinda overpowering at first. It feels happy though, like I wouldn't be mad to smell this or smell like this. I like it!

Just got this in and would say that this is an ok fragrance. It’s nothing spectacular or outstanding, but overall, it smells pleasant enough and is easy to wear. It’s fresh and citrusy, which I usually like, but the fruity and floral notes do seem to dominate the scent profile a little too much at times for me. Still, it’s not as bad as that horrendous Le Male In Blue monstrosity JPG released this year. I give this a 7.5/10.

ok so i solely bought this because i love le beau (despite knowing this would smell diff) and i think this bottle is so cute, much better than the previous pride one. i've seen ppl saying the bottle is tacky but i love it?? maybe i'm just tacky! i'm at peace w that. as for the scent... i am sadly not a fan 😔 i definitely smell the yuzu, which is fine. outside of that it mostly smells like what i can only describe as laundry you left sitting wet in the washer too long. maybe that's my body chemistry with it or bc i'm a gourmand girlie who likes everything to be sickeningly sweet lmao, but my favorite thing is just the equally tacky/cute fan that came for free when you buy this from macy's. that said, if you like the notes don't be deterred from trying by the bad rating! a lot of the negative ratings are from homophobes who haven't even smelled the fragrance. but if you don't like citrus or soapy cents, it's probably a hard no.

Honestly, i dont mind this. I wouldn't give this an 8/10 or even a 7, not because im homophobic or anything, but this just doesn't smell like le male in any way. This is definitely a synthetic feminine fragrance that they didn't put any effort in. Lemons and white flowers is all i get. If youre a woman then i guess it will work but it shouldn't have been advertised as a Le Male flanker, it has nothing to do with the original DNA. 3.5/10 personally.

Awfull bottle and even worse smell should not wear it but if you do at night(its probably gonna give you nightmares or you cant sleep at all) When i smelled it the first time i felt like vomitting(yes its that bad). One advice:if you see it kn a store dont even smell it you will regret if you do.

I probably shouldn't be surprised by it, but I am genuinely surprised that there are this many people mad about JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER putting out a perfume for pride. It's Jean-Paul Gaultier. He's a gay guy whose fashion house makes perfumes seemingly marketed towards gay men in the first place featuring some of the most homoerotic advertising and packaging in the entire industry, not to mention the fact that the zoomers hyped up about JPG are mostly into JPG because of Jeremy Fragrance, another gay dude who posts videos of himself performing homoerotic acts regularly on Tiktok in between his fragrance reviews.

Got a 125ml for 29€ at a bargain bin. For that price it is a really good fragrance for the summer time. Last around 6-7 hours on my skin with decent projection. Very bitter and airy citrus opening and dries down a slightly powdery clean musky fragrance. Overall the scent is really similar to Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino and at 29€ This is hard to beat. I don’t really support LGBTQ type shit but the shirt is kinda cool so imma keep it on I think.

Smells so good almost Niche and projection is very strong. Got it for my husband the shirt is hideous but if you get past the tacky marketing. It’s a very well blended perfume. Smells clean and bright the neroli is strong in this. But I do think this might be discontinued not sure. But it’s a 10/10

10/10 gaultier. This to me is the classic bold and gutsy vibe that they used to rocked back in 1995-2010. Not for the mainstream button up trend following personalities.

From the notes this is likely a 2023 packaging of the 2022 og release Pride. They could have named it "Le Male Pride 2022 with new 2023 vest design".

Same notes than last year edition. It is one of the most wonderful floral fragrances a man can wear on the ☀️ The bottle is gorgeous though.
