What can I say about Scandal pour Homme? Well, what is scandalous is the number of compliments I receive with this fragrance... As simple as that. I don't know how the hype for this doesn't reach the stars - maybe the famous reviewers don't go out at night anymore - because the results in me are frankly scandalous: Pretty much every woman I meet gives me at least one compliment. It might smell especially good on me, but I don't think that's the case. Let's be clear, I'm not a teenager anymore and I don't go out on that plan. Also, I usually wear a suit (more casual, but I like suits, period) and clearly I don't look like a youngster. So let's demystify prejudices: - Some famous reviewers say it's for teens: FALSE. I'm over 40 and I’ve received very positive attention from women under 30, women in their thirties, and women over 40. - Smells great, but it's generic: FALSE. I’ve tried all the new designer fragrances. None have given me anything remotely similar. The key, and this is the real key, is how it smells in the air... This potion is pure magic. - It’s extremely sweet and dense: FALSE. It’s very sweet, especially if you smell it in a tester, but when it dries on the skin the scent has an effect that is close to animalic without being so; it remains clean, sweet, creamy and inviting. In addition, the tangerine induces a considerable freshness that lasts a long time. Fragrance details: Above-average projection, with a heavy trail and great longevity: The performance doesn’t disappoint. Excellent. ... What else do you want? Do you also pretend it to change your life or revolutionize the world? Age: Well, I already talked about that. Unisex? Although a woman can wear it, it isn’t a scent that I would recommend at all: There’re much better options for them. Occasions? For me, this is a perfume that I see exclusively for cocktail parties, clubbing and date nights. Contrary to what many reviewers say, I see it more striking in well-dressed men, not in adolescents (for them I also think there’re better proposals). So only twilight or night... That’s all. I wouldn’t wear this perfume on any other occasion. Finally: You can already read the notes of the fragrance, there is nothing special about them apparently. But listen, it gets addictive... And in my case, the effect is scandalous (like that inspired song by Prince).

Idk if its cuz mine had time to macerate (somehow) but im picking up less caramel and mandarin than before and being hit more with the clary sage and mandarin on the nose but then it quickly evolves into clary sage side which is this earthy dirty green dull rounded scent which i love , it reminds me of wet forest dirt( not the petrichor , just the dirt) with a few old leaves mixed in ,still lightly citrus but more a dull round citrus not a sharp super clean citrus , caramel comes out with the help of the tonka a few hours or mins later and it gives this dark chocolate caramel scent and i really do mean dark like 85% or more chocolate,can still smell strongly the clary sage strong which honestly amidsts the sniffs of caramel dark chocolate is a good evolution and also makes this perfume unique compared to scandal pour homme absolu (which smells like one of the golden le beaus or one of the one millions)which is more on the spiced woody caramelized side pulling on nutty too which isnt bad and honestly the nut makes it unique compared to the examples i gave but realistically no one is gonna notice unless theyre sniffing u constantly,anyways the caramel feels dirty-musky-green slightly citrus like an orange reduction but really reduced not like a chocolate orange, i dont recall much of the vetiver other than it being a skin scent and rather nice and iirc clary sage a little bit in the middle too lol. -Honestly, this fragrance alongside philosykos edp made me fall back into the world of perfumery , its unique even tho most describe/reduce it to just a caramel scent , its not just that but also aromatic in a way i found unique for the menswear side of fragrances,tho it really reads off as ``im a 20-something year old and i got daddys credit card and a trust fund but im also a little skanky`` but in the good way, its a shame its flankers/ ́ ́ concentrated ``versions``(can we even call them that ?since they barelyb share any notes) fail at being as exotic as this one , they all seem to fall under the playing it safe area for mens fragrances (Woody, spiced wood, aromatic but not strong enough), so yeah this one i give it a 8.5/10, not 10/10 cuz it can come off as a bit too youngish and or headachey if sprayed too much.

I am pretty late to the party when it comes to this newer JPG line, but I am very glad I finally gave it a try! I am old school when it comes to fragrance purchases and always start with the original before diving into the flankers. The opening is an homage to Le Male, you get a blast of green leafy sage that takes a twist to the mint of Le Male (which I still enjoy wearing to this day). Next comes caramel with warm oriental spices that don't leave the party. It is the base that breaks things up by adding leather, which is resinous and adds a burnt sugar note to the sweet caramelized mid notes still lingering. Longevity and sillage are above average for Eau De Toilette. I easily get 8 hours worth of solid longevity even in this cold MI winter weather! The projection is very strong. While it’s not a room filler, it is still reaching out to about 2 arms lengths for the first 2-3 hours and then drops down to about one arm for the remainder of the 8 hours of fragrance life. I'd like to add - You need to love sweet spice scents to appreciate this fragrance. If you like more traditional masculine scents and fougeres, this may not be for you. Fortunately for me, I can appreciate and wear scent profiles from the 80's, 90's, 00's, as well as the modern sweet stuff! The good thing about being 5 years late to the party on this one is the current price. I picked up the 50ml bottle for around $50 on Fragrance Shop online. For the scent profile, longevity, and presentation, you are getting a great value for the money!

I feel a bit basic for liking this and I don’t know why... Maybe it’s the bottle design, it does come across a bit tacky to me but it’s not that bad. I really do love the scent though, its quite familiar but not in a “I’ve smelt this everywhere" way. To me, it’s a yummy orangey sweet caramel with clary sage freshness, its also ever so slightly tropical, there’s slight remnants of coconut, it almost has that same suntan lotion-y vibe like all the Le beaus, specifically like paradise garden. Here’s a take I’m sure a lot of you won’t agree with but I genuinely believe that this is an all year scent, I would totally rock this in summer (not in blistering heat though) because of the orange citrus note and how light and airy this fragrance comes across I think it can work in average summer heat, thats just my opinion though. Overall I give Scandal a good 8.2/10 Its very yummy, light and airy all while being sweet plus it’s the work of Quentin Bisch, a perfumer that I’m really starting to like. PS. I’m aware Quentin isn’t the only perfumer but this just has his fingerprints all over it.

Scandal. A newer fragrance from the house of Jean-Paul Gautier. I was able to pick up a gift set for $81 AUD and for that price it was an absolute steal. Scandal has a beautiful, rich fragrance that while quite dense, doesn't overpower unless over-applied. Caramel and Tonka Bean are the foundation of the scent profile. Mandarin and Vetiver are present but subtle. I could not detect any sage personally, but as we know smell is subjective. It is similar to Le Male Le Parfum but has its own DNA and could be considered a safer fragrance than Le Male Le Parfum. The bottle is very well constructed and unique in its design with a decent atomizer. Sillage is moderate on my skin, and longevity is decent, but not incredible. I would say 3-5 hours at the most, less in warmer weather. All in all Scandal is a versatile sweet fragrance that would be at home in a number of settings such as day to day wear or going out for dinner and drinks. The only thing that stopped me from giving a higher rating is price, but that being said for an JPG fragrance it could be worse. 8/10

While some men prefer to smell like a WWII cannon firing into the dead sea, or an arrow being driven into the heart of a buck in the middle of a burning forest, some women actually enjoy a sweeter, softer scent on their beau. This fragrance and its luxurious notes of caramel and tonka bean seems to polarize its target audience. Those that can appreciate its delicacy and sophistication are proven to be the chivalrous gentlemen of society. Its opposers that complain it is "overly sweet nonsense" are the under-evolved neanderthals that will be wearing drakkar noir for the rest of their lives. It's not their fault, their sinuses are compromised from the hot wheels cars they shoved up their noses as children and lines of white powder they inhaled in the basements of frat houses for colleges they never attended. This fragrance efficiently divides the kings from the jesters for the Scandal Le Parfum queens in search of finding their royal match.

The sillage on this stuff in an absolute nuuuke. I tried one test spray on my arm, ONE spray, and a couple hours later came home from doing groceries. When I was walking in, my neighbour was sitting outside his apartment smoking a cigarette and talking on his phone very loudly as he does daily. What caught my attention was him exclaiming "fuck, someone just walked by on the street must've been wearing half a bottle of aftershave" and "oh my GOD it smells like a skunk just sprayed my fucking lawn" and "oh god, it smells like a burning candy store out here. fuck this shit I'm going inside." Personally, I don't think his nose very well trained because I definitely don't smell any notes of skunk. Maybe a bit of the burning candy store, but I actually quite enjoy it. I should buy a bottle just to piss him off. Update: Bought it. Seethe, neighbour man. Update #2: He moved out.

One of my favourites! It's an amazing scent, proving you don't have to have a complicated and busy pyramid to stand out. It's very fall/winter cosy, but sexy scent that works well in the cool summer nights. The opening is more fresh and citrusy, then it settles down to a warm vanilla-caramel sexy vibe. I just love it, it gives off orange/brown warm vibe as a scent, it's the perfume everyone would like on you and will definetely give you the "You smell so sweet and tasty" compliments. Actually amazing performance, even tried some dupes with amazing longevity and projection. That's how I actually fell in love with it, got into a room with a person wearing this and for the next hour I smelled the caramel. So I asked and we're here. Last on clothes until washed. Overall 9/10; Vibes: fall, caramel latte, sweet, approachable but distant.

i bought this in february in notino for 50€ (a steal) and it has been my signature scent ever since. top2 autumn-winter scent in my opinion. its also good for summer and spring nights. on my skin it can last up to 16 hours (depending on the activity). on a more active day i get abaut 7-9 hours of performance. 4-6 sprays is enough for outdoors and 2-3 for indoors if you dont want to choke people. its a very strong fragrance, you will get noticed and eill get lots of compliments. i wouldnt recommend a blind buy as it is an unique scent and isnt for everyone. its better for formal occasions. if you fund this fragrance for under 80€ (50ml) i can only recommend it. i am looking forward to buying a refiller

As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the best fragrances I've ever smelled. Never something quite as balanced, as refined, as breathable and airy, as all season usable, as this one. Easy, balanced, acceptable orange at the very top carries a middle-base made up of a caramel that floats, rather than sitting. Most cold weather fragrances that have vanilla accord are deep, warm, and sit heavy. The caramel here, mixed with a beautiful sage, make it float. The breathability in the sweetness, the caramel, the sage, and even a slight lingering orange after the top coat, make this one that I have to gatekeep. It's simply too usable, too inviting, and too damn good.

I have receive compliments from ladies on a regular every time i wore this. Long lasting, projecting, gourmandy edible, yummy fragrance that will make someone want to eat you up, literally. This smells like caramel with some tangerine mandarin citrusy and a hint of coconut in the background, this definitely based out on tonka bean along with vetiver and woodsy notes. I actually really like this, this is an alternative for Stronger with you, Givenchy Gentleman, Prada Black and other oriental fragrances. Scent: 9/10 Versatility: 8.5/10 (Great cold weather signature) Price: 9.5/10 (Great value for money) Longevity: 10/10 Overall: 9.25/10, highly recommended.

i absolutely love it, my second favorite after Bad Boy Le Parfum. Best thing about this fragrance is it's longevity and projection. For me it lasts about 10 hours, and projection is excellent. One time my friend told me I leave a huge trail of scent about 2 and a half hours after I put it on skin. Top notes of orange and sage actually last long, about 2 hours and after it comes mainly caramel. It can be daily scent but its best for going out and it can be worn through whole year, but on summer just a little less sprays. It is a compliment getter really. smell: 9/10 performance: 9.5/10 versatility: 8.5/10 absolutely lovely scent

Picked this up a couple of weeks ago, IT'S ADDICTIVE. The opening is really sweet, the Orange note is sublte at first, the caramel is more dominant, but it's a very pleasant smell. The dry down is frankly not my favorite. You still get that caramel, but it loses it's opening sweetness. It's still very good and very pleasant. Some people say it's nauseating. I can see why, the smell lingers in the nose so maybe don't go heavy on the sprays and keep it for cooler environments. Longevity is really good, 8 hours I can still smell it on my arm. At 10 it becomes skin scent. 9/10

One of the Best sweet coconut Perfumes ever, very likeable but extremely kind of sweet. It reminds u really a lot of Axe Excite which i always loved and hoped they will release something which smells like that and yes this does a bit, still not 100 % but enough percentage to match them together. This perfume sticks around a lot on your shirt and u smell this even 3 days later. For some people it might also smell a little to syrupy but i have to say nobody can dislike this perfume. dont buy the other flankers because in the drydown they smell exactly like this again.

I’m 20 years old, and a girlfriend I had around a year ago, made me spray this perfume on whenever we went out and things “got interesting” if you know what i mean. Sexy, sweet and definitely smells similar to other mass appealing perfumes, but the caramel note sets it apart. I gotta say, a lot better smelling than the EDP, but lasts less. Very versatile and you can even wear it during the summer, bad thing is it won’t last at all in the sun. All I have to say is, I have over 20 perfumes in my collection, and I finished the 100ml bottle in 7 months...

My gf is in love with this one. In my opinion this is the best from the scandal-line. It reminds me of the summer nights in the city. It is perfect for winter and warmer times as well (mostly i’d recommend for partying in a summer night or dating) . In the opening for me its a bit coconut, but after that, it turns into sweet caramel. 100% sure that i’ll buy a 200 ml refill soon. Bottle design: 10/9 Scent: 10/8.5 Price: 100$ for 100ml its ok. I do not own this fragrance, so take this with a grain of salt. I was working one time, and I smelled something so incredible I was practically drooling. i’m pretty introverted, but once this customer walked away I had to tell them how good they smelt. I asked him what he was wearing and he said this. Wow. I’ve never been so impressed by a colognes sillage before. It left a cloud of cologne when he walked away. It wasn’t pungent or too strong, it was amazing. I definitely would recommend this cologne.

I have had Scandal Absolu for some time and do enjoy that one. I have wanted Scandal Pour Homme for sometime glad I decided to finally get this and picked it up for a steal £35 from superdrug. I also have Mandarin Sky which made me want to get this even more. Mandarin Sky is very close to this I will say Mandarin Sky is a tiny bit fresher but only a tiny bit it's that close.If your on a budget I would say get the Mandarin Sky also it does make the Scandal redundant to some extent.

this is my favourite fragrance from Jean Paul Gaultier, while I love the Scandal for women, but I love this men's version even more, the fragrance is so intense and rich especially the sweet caramel note. And even though this is marketed towards men, but since it smells so sweet and feminine it's actually a unisex fragrance, so women can wear it too, I wear this myself. And the longevity is very good on my skin

Honestly I think that this one is better than the parfum, it’s got more caramel and sweetness to it and it mixes better with the vainilla. This fragrance while it being better is one of the good designer fragrances when comparing to niche obviously not niche quality but near. The smell is also very nice as it’s sweet caramel, vanilla and also a bit woody. Silliage - 7/10 Longevity - 7.5/10 The scent - 9/10

I had a deodorant with this perfume. I understand that you shouldn't apply it to your armpits, because I ended up with a chemical burn. I think it's unisex, because it's perfect for women who want to feel more powerful in their hands. The sweetness is mixed with tartness and deliciousness with vetiver. It's like an old-school man with Sade playing in the backseat of a luxury limousine.

its a buy for normal people who like simple life, wanna smell good, like to get noticed and compliments and beast mode longevity, this is a win win situation. but nothing in it for niche heads and people who seek pleasure of something artsy or unique, this will be a pass for them easy, as a product it will be successful as majority people are simple people with simple life :) 10/10

I really like this fragance, mi favorite one of all time, is sweet, but not anoying, when its dry, i get that elegant sophisticated scent that I enjoy so much, Other reasons of what I love about this fragance is that is not so masculine, so if you are expecting something masculine, maybe it's not the kinda fragance you will wear but like, it really gets eyes and compliments

a masterpiece in its own right, the scandal line might be the most underrated line in fragrance history, scandal EDT is an amazing concoction of caramel sweetness. sexy, sweet alluring. scandal has everything you need for a winter fragrance, to me it makes me want to eat it! 9/10 smell 7/10 longevity 8/10 projection about 5 compliments from my friends while wearing this

Very sweet and similar to Le parfum. I own Le parfum and this one is better imo. Less up in your face and aggressive as I find the Le parfum to be. Only difference between this and Le parfum is the strength and also that this one has an orange zinginess to it at the start which I like. Makes it more of a spring fragrance as well but still too strong for summer. 9/10

The initial vibe is interesting, sweet, salty, aromatic, fresh, zingy... but the drydown is magic. One of the best drydowns i’ve ever smelled and this is not my favourite perfume, I don’t wanna smell like this. It’s too young and horny for me, fuckboy vibes.. not mature fuckboy.. 18yo alpha male bully nonchalant car crash while drunk stealing his mom’s audi vibes.

I've been rocking this as my signature for about a year now. I've gone through two 200ml refills already, and I've to say that it takes a particular type of guy to rock this, as it can smell very zesty and unisex. Nevertheless, this flanker from JPG is not as hyped as the rest of the house, making it a less popular choice, meaning you don't smell it often.

I REALLY like this one. Its actually my favorite of the Scandal lineup and my favorite JPG in general. The caramel note is a winter staple for me. Just smelling the sprayer whenever I walk by the bottle makes me go aaaah. Nice performance too. Probably my favorite fragrance alongside Ultrared by Paco Rabanne and Nitro White.

Just opened the box. Right of the rip it's a heavy hitter. Very sweet, very nice. Can't wait to see what it turns into this fall while it sits and macerates. It's strong enough that you could probably wear it right away and not have to let it sit. But it's too sweet for a summer scent. At $16.99 it's a steal

I just love the way this perfume smells. The caramel and mandarin really fits well with me. The performance is also really good, its long lasting. This is a more serious, more sophisticated summer fragrance. Its more mature than the le male line. Its a bit pricey, but it smells really good.

I layered this with Phantom Intense yesterday and WOW! they compliment each other, the orange from both makes this nuclear. If you have both and find Scandle isn’t doing it for you or visa versa give it a go. I find them both great on their own but this just makes them pop.

Jean Paul always gets something right and has hit another daily wearer with this in my opinion, this could take the shelf of le male as best all rounder sweet caramel, woody and very slight mandarin top just cooling it off. Holds okay good all rounder or daily

As I'm wearing Scandal EDT right now, I got a compliment, she said it smells in the air like Pineapplely, well that's interesting, what nose get is Creamy Caramel Orange Candy and a hint of coconut, I use it in all 4 seasons, I feel like a King wearing this!!

If you love sweet fragrances and especially caramel in real life, you'll love it. 10/10 if you are seeking for a caramel smelling fragrance. Great longevity and great sillage. This should definitely have the hype le male le parfum and elixir have, even more.

I like it as it is sweet and perfect for going out at night but a bit pricey in my opinion. If you are prepared to spend a bit more than the average fragrance I would recommend, but if you are a beginner then would not recommend. 8.5/10

I tested this few days ago. It does last and projects perfectly. I personally don’t understand why some people are complaining about the fragrance. It’s not overpriced, great bottle, also refillable, long lasting power, projection.

Sweet. Starts off with the slightest hint of citrus, immediately taken over by the caramel which is basically the “main” note here. Overall i like it, not cloying at all thanks to the EDT conc. Safe wear

Faaaaantastic caramel goodie. I'm quite basic, when it comes to my taste in fragrances (sweet and safe gourmands) and this just ticks every bell. So pleasant and quite strong, so it's a love from me.

This is absolutely delicious. It smells very similar to Le Parfum (which I prefer) but the dry down is very different. Le Parfum os more masculine and woody, EDT is softer amd aromatic.

Really good stuff, jpg knows whats up when it comes to sweet fragrances, this is no letdown, similar to 1 million lucky in some ways, but is not a redundant purchase, cool bottle too

This fragrance is a very sweet and citrus fragrance for date night and maybe school. Summer is a no go as cloying is possible. I would do 4-2 sprays this lasts 12+ hours on my skin

Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Pour Homme is great for winter. Sweet, warm and very unique with strong projection. Smells confident and stands out from basic fresh fragrances.

I love the combo between caramel and clary sage its nice smooth relaxing smell , try it on a spring day walking on a grass field , you will get high cz of smelling ..

Something about this fragrance just ends up in your mouth in the back of your throat... No diddy. You can literally taste this fragrance and it's delicious

This is exactly what you’d expect. Caramel and vanilla and a slight sweet-citrusy opening. It’s kinda unisex imo but guys can wear it as well
