This is exactly what you will expect from such a big house. A perfect smart fragrance that is like none. Warm but not really sug sweet. Freshly aromatic with a caracterful sillage & drydown. Absolutely perfect lasting power when used as what it is yet an eau de toilette. I can wear it every day except maybe for those very hot days I'd rather look for something 100% sea fresh. This fragrance not having had the success it deserves is the best proof fragrance shop will not sell quality & nice stuff no more but what is brand new & what they have the most benefits & gifts from!

To me this could easily be a male flanker to Addict (kind of an Addict pour Homme) with the vanilla toned down and the lavender and woody notes added. It can be worn all year round and for day and night. It projects and lasts about 5-6 hs on my skin. Signature scent worthy.

I love this fragrance, the cardamom and vanilla blended beautifully, fresh and mouth watering at the same time. The dry down is little like Pure Lavande by Azzaro.

Yes, It's Lavender and vanilla...Not strong at all but comforting and non offensive. I love the sweetness and it goes well after showering and on a warm summer's day when you don't want to smell of citrus or a typical summer fragrance. One has to apply plenty which is no problem for the price pointand can't say it projects well but you can smell it on yourself or if someone gives you a hug. I don't often use this word to describe a fragrance but all I can say is..'Nice'!!

A beautiful aroma from a luxury brand. S de Scherrer smells niche. It's powdery sweet. Like somebody wrote it's like Dior Homme but with lavender, floral and vanilla instead of iris. Subtle protection of sweet powder. Elegance in a bottle.

Very disappointed. I feel robbed on this one, which I do not write flippantly. It is so light I can barely smell it and is gone within a few minutes. My bottle is new and marked SA Designer Parfums Ltd. Reminds me of the thin modern Coty releases, specifically Stetson Fresh. The fragrance itself is forgettable, whereas Scherrer EdT by Jean-Louis Scherrer (1979) is an amazing perfume with strength.

S de Scherrer Homme is now packaged in a different bottle far less interesting than the one pictured here. And well, now it actually matches the fragrance which is unfortunately less interesting than a brand like Scherrer deserves. Maybe (and hopefully) their scents for women are better, but the one for Men has nothing with to do with the bold opulence and aristocratic extravagance Scherrer is renowned for. But it still better than having no Scherrers at all, and i'm happy his fragrance line has been relaunched. S de Scherrer is a nice woody-spicy scent with a touch of lavender to ensure it's still french. Surprisingly strong, it is a fragrance that is quite pleasing and should be more popular. ***(**)

Fresh light mild woody spicy lovely perfume for daily life. Not extravagant, but elegant. Good longevity... Good choise for those who dont like strong very expressive dark bold perfumes.
