Amore Mio I Love You

I don't know Jeanne Arthes perfumes very well and they're not normally easily found here in the UK. However, I came across this on a website, it was cheap, the notes sounded good and I couldn't resist making a blind buy. It's a good thing I did - this perfume is very nice and an absolute bargain at the knockdown price I got my bottle for! At first, I have to admit I wasn't too sure; it smelled peppery, a little bit musty (I thought maybe I'd got an old bottle and the perfume was slightly off!) but I used one spritz on my wrist only and gave it a chance as it wasn't nauseating (thank god) so I didn't feel a desperate need to wash/scrub it off as I do with some perfumes! I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The musty smell faded quickly, the pepperiness was still there a little but the perfume became a lot softer, a bit more fluffy smelling, slightly honey'ish and a little like a baby scent, which is never a bad thing! I really liked it!! After not too long (maybe 3 hours or so) I could barely smell it on myself until I sniffed my wrist but I could smell it then easily so others could probably still smell it on me. I've had, and tested, much more expensive perfumes that cost many times more than this perfume that seem to virtually evaporate after an hour, even less (i.e. Blooming Bouquet by Dior which I love but it evaporates as if it's perfumed water and my skin normally holds perfumes very well, and Creed perfumes too, that are stupidly expensive, again seem more like perfumed water / body splashes to me than expensive perfumes that should have very good longevity!). It's skin scent'ish though so no doubt won't leave a big trail but I'm okay with that as I hate heavy, stinky, overpowering perfumes that some women seem to love and I much prefer cleaner, fresher, more subtle perfumes overall. This perfume is a definite winner for me given that I paid only about £5 (about $7) for a 100ml bottle! Also, the packaging of the perfume is lovely. The box is black with silvery little birds and flowers, along with bright pink flowers too, and a big pink heart on the front. The bottle itself is really lovely too and looks far from cheap! It's heavyweight frosted glass, a half apple shape with, again, a little bird on it, a birdcage and flowers, all in black, and the neck has a little silver serpent wrapped around it So pretty! It's the kind of bottle that's nice to have on display as it's too good to keep tucked away (but, of course, perfumes do need to be kept out of direct sunlight still and kept in a shady spot, etc). Also, this perfume would make a great gift for a young girl because of the lovely packaging, the bottle and the soft, fluffy scent but I'm not into categorizing perfumes in general as being only good for specific age groups - anyone should be able to wear whatever perfumes they like, no matter their age (as long as they don't go overboard with heavy, stinky ones and use those with a light hand when wearing them around other people!). I'm certainly way past my teens but I love this perfume now, and have a youthful personality, so it will probably become a staple for me as long as I can still find it to buy more bottles when necessary! So, all-in-all Amore Mio I Love You is a big win for me (thank god not a stinker of a blind buy!!) and I'm going to get at least one back-up bottle in case it disappears from the website I got it from at such a great price! I wish my blind buy bottle of Christina Aguilera's Red Sin had been such a successful buy but, sadly, it's not and I can't bring myself to wear it despite it also being a fairly youthful scent (fruity'ish with the red apple in it) but it smells far more artificial than this perfume so it doesn't compare!!

This was a sniff-less/blind buy for me. I didn't know how it smelled when I bought it, but I wanted something affordable with Rose notes in it and will smell powdery and sweet. Besides, the bottle is really cool! It's basically Precious!!! Brilliant story telling. Bottle shaped like the forbidden apple and the snake guarding it, tempting us to take a bite/spray. Sinfully delicious! Lol Besides, my grandma passed away a week before I bought this, and I kept seeing hummingbirds. My sign that she is ok and doing well. The cage in the other hand signifies freedom. My grandma is finally free from suffering. When I saw this perfume on sale on my fav on9 perfume shop, it was perfect! I had to buy this in memory of her. At first spray, it opened with a full blast of pink pepper mix with rose and Peony. It really reminded me of Marc Jacob's Lola. The both smelled exactly the same to me at first spray. As it dried down, I can smell more of the vanilla, pear and musk. Now it smelled completely different from Lola and I LOVE IT!!!! The pepper made it soft spicy, the rose was beautiful and not too overpowering and it blended well with the other notes, the vanilla was warm and sweet, and the grapefruit really made it refreshing. For me, this perfume is best to be used for relaxing. Like you just came out of shower after hard day of working or a workout session. Spray this on, and just enjoy the rest of the day relaxing with loved ones or just with a good book. In summary, I'm in love with this scent. It's warm, floral sweet, relaxing and fresh. Furthermore, the scent radiates within arm length making it work best as a personal scent. Lasting power is not bad. I could still smell it on my skin or cloths even after 6 hours. I feel happy, relax and rejuvenated every time I spray this on after a good shower till I am using it every single day. I just can't put it down. For me, I am definitely in love and knowing my fragrance loves me back. IT'S PERFECT!!! Amor Mio, I Love You... I really LOVE YOU!!!

The bottle is adorable and so is the smell. Its incredibly tender and gentle as it stays upon the skin for a whole day without trouble. It does lay itself around your environment as no matter where I went many would say how sweet I smelt. So the perfume in itself isn't secretive but then again who buys perfume to not be smelt? I can agree with other comments that its a delicate smell not overwhelming but soothing. The pear and rose a delicious blend and the musk arrives as a brilliant finish and stays there on the skin the longest.

The bottle is gorgeous. A frosted half apple with a serpent wound around the top. Sometimes for me the bottle is worth the buy regardless of the juice. Jeanne Arthes has such beautiful bottles, I have been collecting as many as I can get my hands on. Fortunately there hasn't been one fragrance yet that I didn't like from Jeanne Arthes. Started out obnoxiously, quite peppery and sour grapefruit. I could not find any other notes listed, I was beginning to think I had received a bad bottle. As the fragrance started to warm up with my skin, the magic happened, wafting up came a heavenly combination of Rose/Peony, sweet Pear blossoms, Musk and a hint of Geranium. I much prefer a musky floral to the sharp green variety. This is just the right balance of Rose and Musk with some extra surprise notes to make it totally different to any other perfume you may have. Another very wearable fragrance from Jeanne Arthes.

A blind buy based on the notes, I am really happy with the results. Amore Mio I Love You is bright and cheerful. Sweet but not syrupy. The pepper, combined with the musk makes this warm and intriguing, and rose, peony and vanilla add smoothness and a sweetness. This is not a rose scent - rather it is more peppery and floral with grapefruit and pear giving it a bit of sparkle. Sillage is not strong, so this may be safe for the office. Amore Mio I Love You is flirty and feminine without being too girly. A definite "like" from the house of Jeanne Arthes.

I find Amore Mio I Love You to be the younger sister of Jeanne Arthes Private Room. They both engulf you like a soft cloud, but instead of Private Rooms' winterey caramel-vanilla notes, Amore Mio I Love You bears summer-appropriate fruity and floral notes, while acheiving the exact same comforting effect. It's a lovely round and smooth scent, and has some good sillage - for about four hours. For the price, I encourage its' purchase, as with all the Jeanne Arthes fragrances I have encountered so far.

I discovered Jeanne Arthes perfumes by mistake and i am so happy i did it. Till now i have 4 on my collection and i like them all.Quality perfumes on excellent prices ! Amore Mio I love you reminds me of Private room of Jeanne Arthes but less vanilla and more powdery... I really like it....and the bottle is simply gorgeous!!!!!

to me this is like a lola body spray. I bought a 100ml bottle for £10.90 using an ebay voucher so it was free. I love lola and this has the same top notes but lacks any depth so I shall use it as a body spray with lola perfume oil

💲I paid only $10 for the 3.3oz EDP during my recent perfume binge on Fragrance net. 👃 Hmmm, I want to give this one a better chance. I’ve only worn it a couple of times and though it’s “nice,” I didn’t love it. I couldn’t figure out exactly why until I read someone’s comment that there is a mustiness to it -that’s exactly it. It’s like the rose petals wilted a little bit and fell into the water inside the vase; Now that I am hyper aware of the musty hint, I have noticed that thankfully, it starts to fade and you are left with more of a dewy pink rose smell along with what I’ll describe as a whipped cream scented lotion smell. I want to give this perfume a better chance and plan to try and bring out the peony in it by layering it with sweet pea or peony body mist. Maybe I’ll try a dab of my go to marshmallow perfume oil too.. I think that should do the trick..

There is a soft rose, extremely timid pear, but in the end it smells like soap more than anything. Very clean and affordable scent if you're into soapy fragrances.

Pear drops, pink pepper then an extremely delicate pink rose drydown. The tonka bean comes through after about ten minutes and that when it’s at its best. Deep dry down has a slight baby powder vibe, at which point it becomes cloying to me. You’d want to overspray this one as it’s very light!

i don't know if i bought a bad bottle, judging from the reviews here (it was a blind buy because of them!), but this one stinks. it's harsh, chemical and has that generic old woman smell. i'm returning it.

Blind buy based on reviews here, but this stuff didn't smell good on me 'spicy' actually. I do like heavier scents but this so awful' .. Sorry it's just not for me. - Sillage is good at least through the first 30 minutes, then the scent gets quite close to skin and subtle.. - Longevity is low/average ( for an EDP it is not impressive ..) .

Tout d'abord j'adore le flacon jardin d'Eden en forme de pomme avec le bouchon serpent de cette gamme Amore mio, et les couleurs rose et noir, tant du flacon que de la boîte, sont très jolies. On sent d'abord la rose, propre et légèrement épicée, le poivre sans doute. Les autres fleurs sont assez discrètes. Fond agréable. A le grand mérite de ne pas être sucré. Une bonne idée pour un petit cadeau, avec son nom message et son mignon design, sans compter son prix très modique. Toujours des trouvailles à faire dans cette marque. Amore mio : I love the bottle garden of Eden with the apple and the snake, pink and black very cute. I smell rose with light pepper and spice, clean. Other flowers are discrete. I don't smell sweet ou sugar, and it's a good thing for me. This perfumes are very unexpensive, it's a good idea for a little present : the name is nice and the design cute. Always little treasures by Jeanne Arthes. Sorry for my language.

Pretty Pink Powder puff. It's powdery, soft, sweet, freshened by light citrus. It's really gorgeous. Jeanne Arthes makes a lot of really great inexpensive fragrances that don't smell that way. I love trying new ones. Can't wait to try more!! I do see similarities with Powder room, which I also have, but that is sweeter. It also reminds me of Lola

My mother bought it for me. First time I don't like it because it's too sweet for me. But now I'm in love. The base note is very warming and smooth in my skin. I use it when I go to sleep, and I feel so fresh and charming when I wake up :D

Same exact notes as Lola by Mark Jacobs! Hmmm do they smell the same? Anyone?
