Amore Mio Passion

Really good for a bargain brand, as are most of the perfumes I’ve tried from this house. If you closed your eyes and someone sprayed this on you, you wouldn’t think it was around £10 a bottle. I think it’s because the sharp eye-watering alcohol smell that usually presents itself in cheap perfumes is missing, thankfully. It’s fruity juicy orange on its first blast, staying pretty linear, just softening with time (orange liqueur was a lovely description below), becoming a skin scent within a couple of hours. Stronger on clothes. I would have thought it was a spring/summer perfume but I actually have fond memories of wearing this in the autumn/winter - one year I sprayed it on a scarf and it stuck to it for the entire season. It was so comforting, I used to bury my face in it in the cold. For that reason it just feels wrong to wear it in the warmer months, but don’t let that stop you!

A lovely orange liqueur scent. Smells really sweet and delicious. It's not a complex scent, and not exactly mature, but it's warm and gourmand. Quite seductive, has depth to it. I don't find it cloying, but if you don't love orange, don't blindbuy this, because there's no way around the fruity sweetness from opening to drydown. I also don't find it to smell synthetic or cheap, it's so mouthwatering - it almost reminds me of pralines filled with orange liqueur thanks to the cashmere note. I imagine this as a youthful precursor of Poison Girl by Dior. This has to be one of my favorite fruity scents for the price, and even though it's not listed as a gourmand scent, it easily qualifies as such.

I recently bought 10 more perfumes because this brand is awesome! High quality, luxurious smelling perfume at affordable price. The red box reminds me delicious red apple. It’s a fun perfume. Love if because of the jasmine note. Smells similar to Viva La Juicy Juicy Couture. Love JA perfumes! 😍

very prominent peach blossom. soapy, like fresh out of shower but strong. good silage. some orchid and peony in background. i dont get any patch or vanilla though - this is very soapy fruity fresh bordering on unisex. resembles Eternity Now very much. it was blind bought coz i thought it would be similar to viva la juicy but nope. not at all. so completely different than i expected but not bad, nice actually. very casual fresh-out-of-shower scent. not perfumy or seductive

Bought a gift set containing this perfume on a perfume site sale in January 2016. It was a blind buy but I was pleasantly surprised. It is sweet and seductive and relatively long lasting. It was also a bargain.

I recently blind bought over the internet a bottle of Jeanne Arthes Amore Mio I Love You and like it so much that I then bought a couple of extra 'back-up' bottles as the price was super cheap, the perfume smells very nice (after an initial peppery blast!) & the bottle is adorable! So pretty! Jeanne Arthes perfumes are not easily purchasable here in the UK, except maybe on some sites online, and I then became aware that the online perfume site I'd bought the 3 bottles from had gone out of stock of it. Very disappointing (but I now know where else I can get it from!!). I like Amore Mio I Love You so much that I then looked up flankers of it and came across this one and Amore Mio Forever, also super cheap and the same pretty bottles but with different coloured lettering and the perfumes are different colours. Sadly, of those two perfumes this one (Amore Mio Passion) has underwhelmed me. It smells on me kind of mishy-mash'y fruity'ish at first, a bit face powder'ish, slightly sweet, a bit musty and quickly morphed more into sugariness more than anything else. It reminded me a bit of Pink Sugar, which I'd blind bought online a few years ago and didn't like as it was too sugary for my liking, even though I do like some sweet'ish perfumes but that was way too sweet! Also, it's not unlike (in its cosmetic type of smell, certainly initially, Red Sin by Christina Aguilera. despite it seeming to only share one note - musk). Now, about 8 hours after first trying Amore Mio Passion this morning it does smell fairly pleasant though it's so soft it's more of a skin scent and leaves little trail (I don't like strong, heavy perfumes anyway so thar's okay with me!) but it still smells more sugary than anything else and I can't even really pinpoint specific notes in it. So, it's a kind of so-so perfume for me - definitely not a huge love but a kind of 'sort of like it & I may grow to like it more' kind of perfume. I definitely prefer Amore Mio I Love You and Amore Mio Forever though. I may layer Passion with other perfumes though to take away some of the sugariness and give it a bit more oomph and interest! Oh, btw.I see some reviews liken Amore Mio Passion to Euphoria and Nina Ricci perfume (the red apple bottle - presumably the original one). I don't think this smells at all like either of those perfumes - on me it's far from patchouli heavy (thank god - I hate that note!), so very unlike Euphoria in my opinion, and neither does it remind me in the slightest of the original Nina perfume, which I adore. I'd be over the moon if it smelled similar to that! The only similarity to that, to me, is that both have very pretty bottles!

Expected something more seductive as it is called amore mio passion. Worth to buy? No only if you want to try. Not more than 50 ml. It could be easy light smell for summer or spring days but its not fresh. Too souery for me.

Tout d'abord j'adore le flacon jardin d'Eden en forme de pomme avec le bouchon serpent de cette gamme Amore mio, jus de couleur ambrée. Les fruits des notes de tête sont jolis et pas trop sucrés, le côté floral est également présent. Fond ambré. Un agréable petit parfum sans prétention, très mignon sur une jeune fille. Toujours des trouvailles à faire chez Jeanne Arthes. Amore mio : I love the bottle garden of Eden with the apple and the snake. At first it smells fruits, nice and not too sweet, then it smells flowers, they are delicate. Amber at the end. A lovely little perfume, for a young girl for example. Always little treasures by Jeanne Arthes. Sorry for my language.

A lot of patchouli in this one. I don’t particularly get Amour Amour here..... it put me in mind of Euphoria!

Remind me of Nina Ricci the Red Apple Bottle. Budget friendly for youngsters.
