Balade à Paris Promenade à Montmartre

This is such a beautiful perfume! I wish it would last longer than 2 hours, however this is a bargain and you can re-spray during the day. It does smell like a less old-fashion version Coco Mademoiselle, which I really like.

A very nice, classic style scent. There is a pleasant yellow-floral smell, which is quietly lifted by the citrus and musk sitting in the background. On paper the notes are citrus-dominated, yet they are blended in a way that feels well balanced and not distracting from the florals. It has that creamy, opulent floral quality on the dry-down which gives this perfume a mature, classy, feminine feel. As others have noticed, it is similar to Coco Mademoiselle, but a little bit lighter and airier. It does require a heavy initial application/resprays to maintain its projection. That said, the subtle skin scent that it leaves does last for a long time. I'd say this is a great scent for those who love that classic interpretation of femme.

I tried this in-store and decided not to buy. On my skin, the florals didn't come through at all. It seemed too much like a cleaning product - pine gel comes to mind. This is the first time that I felt this way about an Arthes perfume.
