Cassandra Rose Intense

You'd never ever guess that this sells for 5€ by smelling it!! It's a beautiful realistic fresh aquatic rose, straight out of the garden, with dew drops still on its soft petals. If I close my eyes, I can see the bouquet in front of me. It's everything I hoped Miss Dior blooming bouquet would be. Of course its quality can't be compared to a Dior, but you know what? I'm gonna do it anyway. I'd pick this one any day even though the bottle is super tacky and I wish it were changed, because after all, the juice is what really matters, and this one really satisfies the periodic rose-craving p.s. this is an excellent dupe for Chloé as well. It's a modern rose done right (even my boyfriend loves it, and he's never favoured the scent of roses before)

I am a rose enthusiast... so I had to try this one. On me, Cassandra Rose is a powdery rose, with hints of gardenia. I'm obsessed. It's completely different from all of my other rose scents, which are more floral-top noted. The bottle is a baby pink, so cute. Nothing extraordinarily fancy about it, but if you collect pink inspired bottles, this works. At only €9,00 I didn't expect to be so in love, and yet herr I am. 🥰

delightful, airy but not like rose water nor like rose jam either. It smells to me like a rose wine or liquor probably due to the litchi note. Delightful really. pretty fragrance and super affordable. Lasts days on clothes, on skin probably 3 hours.

I really like this scent! It is very cheap bough it for 5€. It doesn't stay too long unfortunately. It is a vintage smell flower. 3/5 V

I'm about to get a backup of this one. I agree, this is a great scent to wear to work, inoffensive and pretty. That is, if you enjoy rose scents, of course. I work with someone who dislikes perfumes in general, and she once said to me while wearing this: "You always smell so good!" So, I have a few drops left of this one and of Boum: Vanille (also by Jeanne Arthes; about to start my third bottle of that one) remaining inside the first bottles I purchased of both fragrances, and it occurred to me: why not layer them? Hey, I don't know if it is just that these two aged well over the last year and a half (is that a thing?), but they complement each other very well. They give one another that depth that one could argue might be missing in any of these fragrances (both lovely for perfumes on the cheaper end) by themselves. A couple of minutes later, I can say that Rose Intense overpowers Boum: Vanille... but I can still smell that warmness that wasn't there in the first place when I had only applied Rose Intense.

Such an underrated fragrance! So glad I discovered this gem. I’m usually not a big fan of the scent of rose at all, but this is honestly so inoffensive and it really grows on you the more you wear it. Silage and longevity is awful on skin but strangely projects and lasts beautifully when sprayed on clothing. It’s such a safe scent to wear for all occasions, especially in the office. For the price you are paying for this, I think it’s an absolute steal! (I do however really dislike the cheap flimsy cap though and the shape of the bottle kinda makes holding it to spray a little hard but hey can’t complain much for the price haha)

Phew... The litchi notes and sweet smells are really strong! It’s a sweet, fruity floral perfume with an emphasis on sweet litchi scents. I think it is quite a generic perfume, I smell this on many ladies out there - my young son thinks so too. I guess it’s a mass appealing perfume. It lasts about 2 hours on me, which is much longer than my pricey MJ Daisy Dream 😅 I would spray on my clothes if I want it to stay longer. Safe to be worn for work and casual. I feel pretty & lovely when I spray this perfume on me 🌸 As usual, Jeanne Arthes perfumes performs they way they should - great quality for the price they are selling ❤️

Gauzy soft rose. Not dewy. Not focused. No off notes. Use it to add soft rose to another fragrance. Doesn't smell like much under the nose but it does project rose about the room. Unimpressed but perhaps the new bottle can improve. Pumping out sprays as room fragrance over a few months of sitting. I've found that so many fragrances today improve after 6 months or so. Also my sense memory often overcomes an initial resistance to new molecules and new blends. It seems to me that it works in the background over time, even between long pauses of wearing. I eventually finally smell the perfumer's creation.

Cassandra Rose reminds me of a rose body lotion I had as a kid. I can't remember the name it was something like rose milk. It was a while bottle with a red rosebud on it. It smells like that. This is much prettier than that horrid Delina by PDM. Synthetic for sure but it is smells familiar and the lychee here isn't overused and sharp. A very lotion like rose. It will smell like you just showed and put lotion on. Easy to wear for the office or just day to day. A nice fragrance.

Vraiment agréable. je ne pensais pas aimer une rose aussi simple. Frais et agréable! Et il tient plutôt bien (contrairement aux autres Jeanne arthes que je possède) J'ai pu sentir le parfum Chloé, et en effet il y a quelque chose... mais du coup avoir un "grand" parfum qui ne sent que ça je ne vois pas l’intérêt (pour moi!)

It's the cleanest rose scent I know - it's a tea rose mixed with bergamot. A WILD ROSE scent to some extent, I dare say! After some time it turns slightly generic on my skin though, but what to expect from a scent at this price... It's a gem in its category. Wow! I was not expecting such beautiful fragrance for this price. It smells just like rosewater, which I absolutely love the scent of. This will be perfect for layering or simply on it's own when I'm in a rosy mood. Out of every Jeanne Arthes fragrance I've tried, this is definitely my favourite!🌸

It's a quiet beautiful clean floral fruity that smells sweet and a little bit soapy. Very feminine, remind me of Chloe. Projection is quite weak and after some minutes it became skin scent. I think it's a safe fragrance if you work in a hospital or an office

It is very similar to Chloe. Very nice perfume.

It's a light, feminine, fresh, mildly juvenile, gourmand, edible rose. Not overwhelming nor suffocating. Linear, the composition stays the same from the beginning to the end. Not offensive in any way and a safe blind buy, unless you really hate rose. The price for what you get is insanely low. It doesn't smell synthetic to me, like some other Jeanne Arthes fragrances, but it does smell like artificial rose flavour used in bakery. I'd say it has a cheap vibe, but actually the 'bubblegumy' scent profile kind of makes you get away with it. At the same time, I'd never wear it for an occasion that requires a more refined taste. I keep my bottle in a car, in case I forget to use perfume when I leave or want to apply something when my morning scent is gone. It is perfect for this job and the scent hasn't changed a bit in different temperatures, between -15 degrees C and +35.

I really think that if you’re after quite a natural rose water style scent then this is an absolute bargain. I like sweeter rose myself (despite the sweet fruits in the notes this remains very crisp and not at all sugary fyi!) but for the price this is a super light and natural rose at such a low price point! Definitely a bit of a skin scent and there’s nothing intense about it! No musky dry down, just roses.

Update: So I sold this. Then I got Chloe EDT which didn't last long. I thought about it and went back to get this again to layer with Chloe EDT. Someone commented that it smelled longer on clothes than skin and it is true! I wish I hadn't sold my Roses Blanches one but oh well... I prefer this to Cute. This smells just like The Body Shop Cassis Rose and La Rive Cuté. The only difference I would say is that Cuté has a green initial whiff, which then disappears and the rose emerges later. For Rose Intense, there is no such contrast. It is a soft, fresh rose that just slowly fades over time. I think Cuté smells stronger and lasts longer, while Rose Intense smells better balanced. Rose Intense has a pretty light pink bottle with a matching pink cap. It looks as it should smell, soft and gentle. I do not smell any fruits or tropical notes nor any creamy vibes in this perfume at all. It could be due to the climate here in Singapore. A great scent for the humid tropics though, light and fresh. Wished it was less similar to Cuté because that is S$11 cheaper than Rose Intense, and smells almost the same. Between Rose Intense and Roses Blanches, Roses Blanches is a much more impressive scent that projects better and lasts much longer. If you like citrus scents that last longer, go for Roses Blanches. If you like rose scents that are light and skin scents, go for Rose Intense.

The name is definitely misleading - hardly that intense! I got it because I wanted a fruity rose that wasn't Delina. Didn't expect PDM quality and performance, obviously, but this did disappoint me a little. I still 'like it', as it was a cheapie (ca £10 for 100 ml), and will layer it with other stuff - but it's not love. It's a lot more simple than I expected from the notes - just a dewy rose water-ish perfume with the softest hint of amber underneath (it doesn't really read as 'amber'; it just reads as 'this rose is slightly creamier than a natural one'). The opening was promising, with a noticeable golden fruity blast (I guessed 'peach' and was right!). It barely develops - if anything, it...devolves, as the opening is better and more complex than the rest. Performance is solid, moderate to above moderate projection and longevity. All in all a nice, simple, slightly creamy (but foodie) rose. Quite feminine and innocent.

I never tried Chloe au de parfum but I used this Cassandra Rose Intense since last year. One day I had a chance to try Chloe and I was surprised it was almost exactly the same scent--that plastic rose. Lol. Anyway, I don't have a plan to buy Chloe to compare it now since I want to use up the Rose Intense and I'm quite happy with it. Maybe in the future I will. This Rose Intense has a scent of when you walk into a flower shop and smell a rose bouquet wrapped in a piece of paper, and sometimes it smells like plastic. Lol.

honestly i hate it in the beginning. too strong, too alcoholic, ugly bottle, smells like literally only roses... but then it settles onto my skin and becomes this beautiful, sensual rosy scent, a little fruity and i get a hint of honey on my skin too. everyone loves it on my skin but on clothes or from the cap of the perfume it’s just not it. i’d say i don’t regret this blind buy, but i won’t perchase it again. i just expected more. i’m not disappointed, but i am definitely not impressed.

I bought this blind-buy along with other perfumes partly because it was extra low price and another part was I love rose fragrance. Tried it and loved it instantly. A light soft rose just like it was picked from your garden and put into a bottle. No musky or other notes that are prominent. Someday it stayed with me for 6-8 hours and some days it lasted only 1-2 hours (depending on the weather I guess). I like to wear it at night when I'm going to bed.

A cheapie that was well worth buying! A 5-er or so.. It is reminiscent of Chloé, a bit sweeter maybe, lasting power isn't too bad, but sillage wouldn't be enormous. Bottle very 80's, packaging also, reminds me a bit of department stores' own brands like M&S. A scent that would please all age groups if one likes roses at least a tiny bit.. Well worth a try and see for yourself.

Smells like Chloe to my nose, just as sharp and headache inducing. It's slightly less soapy, a bit more tangy from the fruit and a bit more watery but I'm not sure I could tell the difference between the two in a blind test. If you like Chloe this is a great affordable dupe.

A very rose, and litchi scent;not overpowering but with a moderate lasting.Great for spring and summer time...so fresh;.It's remind me a lot like the fragrance Chloé.. even heavier.I bought it for 4 euros!.I 'd like to buy Cassandra too!..

So far I rlly like this! It starts smelling like Chloe but when the peach comes out more it smells like iconic by Paris Hilton and I love both those perfumes but I'd say it's closer to how iconic settles.

it smells so nice, so feminine but not so overpowering floral scent. i really like the smell however the smell does not last too long on skin and even on fabric. but worth it for the price.

Smells amazing, sweet jammy rose with a hint of woodiness, lasts well on skin and on clothes! The bottle is gorgeous! It is honestly the best of the line!!!!!!!!!

When one is in the mood for roses, one should try this one. Romantic, simple and neat.

Like many people here it reminds me of Chloe, which I dislike. A blind buy gone wrong.
