Cassandra Rose Jasmin

Fruity Floral Cheapie Gem... I've tested this a few times now, and each time it comes across a little differently. At first I was getting the jasmine tea and rose, but the second test I got the pear & magnolia more, but all the notes are there. Overall, a well blended fruity floral that isn't an exact dupe of anything I've smelt, but I catch reminders of scents like Miracle Lancôme, Eclat d'Arpège Lanvin & Chantilly Eau de Vie Dana. This has quite good performance for a fresh floral, and even cuts through winter air, but I would be most likely to wear this in spring-summer for day or night. You can't beat this for the price; it smells a lot more expensive than it is. It's a love. Enjoy! Update 05/13/25: The tea note is coming through even more clearly now in the opening, with a fruity-floral-powdery overlay of the pear-freesia. The tea note remains grounding everything as it transitions into the white floral heart of jasmine & magnolia with a peach accent. Magnolia here is leaning more to its waxy side and less to its citrus side. As for rose, I agree with LSAUG below that this is a charming jasmine-tea scent where rose is hiding, and plays hide-and-seek throughout the drydown. Rose is more of a supporting element that I don't notice much, but occasionally realize was there all along. Performance-wise, I think this has been underrated and performance is moderate-to-strong for me, with 8+ hours longevity and ~3 feet projection for first hour followed by arms length projection for the next ~4 hours after which it becomes a skin scent. This is on par or better than most designer summer floral/fruity-florals imho. Love it.

Opens with a burst of sweet fruity pear, then a floral jasmine tea, and a touch of orange. Before dry down feels a bit synthetic initially, it settles beautifully especially considering the price point. After a couple minutes, the jasmine gets louder, blended with gentle hints of rose, magnolia, and peach. The musk, woods, and amber serve as a quiet, grounding support rather than competing with the fruits and florals. The overall profile is distinctly sweet and feminine and it avoids being powdery and feels mature enough to wear without smelling juvenile. Overall smells of authentic real jasmine. like drinking jasmine tea. its beautifully elegant. My bottle look is a pearlescent white cap and rosy pink lettering with a clear glass bottle and liquid.

What a charming jasmine tea fragrance. It starts off with a tart and aromatic blast of green tea leaves infused with jasmine oil. As the fragrance goes along I get orange, peach, freesia, jasmine, jasmine tea and lots of magnolia. I cannot find the rose. She is hiding. Maybe she was jealous but she is not here. This is such a lovely fresh floral and I wish I had found it before summer ended. I got this beauty for $6.99. it is far superior to other fresh and green florals I have tried that cost a hell of a lot more. Glad I found this beautiful cheapie. Moderate projection and longevity. I don't understand the complaints about longevity below. I disagree. This is excellent value for money.

I recently bought 10 more perfumes from this brand & this is my fav! OMG the smell is so delicious & juicy. I have an obsession with Jasmine note and this one blends in gorgeously. I love JA so much for the high quality & affordability 🥰

It is soapy fresh to my nose, citron (cédrat) greenness and nice clean white petals, honeysuckle as clean as a florist shower gel. With a drop of rose dew, and of tropical ice tea, to add a bit of sweetness. Classic, think like 5th Avenue or Pleasures are classic’s, this sort of things. Fresh, floral bubbles, squeezed citrus rinds, maybe naïve, or used to be naïve. Would suit a lovely romantic style in summer, liberty dress, capeline, teatime, picnic basket, with fresh fruits for dessert. It dries down like linen over a sweet flower fields, or like this sunny yellow softener on which a colorful field is printed. My 17yo son loves it of me. He’ll always comment about the beautiful smell around.

Wow, I think I'm gonna be addicted to all Cassandra-s.. :-) This chieapie is another pleasant surprise.. To my nose it opens up as bubble gum, and within minutes turns into a very pretty jasmine scent. There's no rose here, at least I find none. When I close my eyes and smell it I'm back in Nice or Barcelona walking next to a night blooming Jasmine bush.. Just like that, this is the scent of my southern European holidays in the summertime - all this for no more than 5 euros. Lasting power isn't bad for a cheapie either, one spritz gives you a couple of hours, but for this price you can douse yourself as much as you like. I'm defo keeping this and will stock up..

For the first minute I was hit with a bouquet of soft flowers, hard to tell apart which ones but the chaos they create is quite nice. It quickly fades to mostly jasmine. Besides the jasmine I can also detect magnolia and peach. Normally the smell of jasmine in perfumes irritates my nose to no end but this one is different. It smells almost like the jasmine tree in my mother's garden. Unfortunately I also encountered this note in combination with the magnolia in a bathroom spray before and that's what I associate with it. I really wish the first impression would stay for a lot longer since this is exactly what I'm looking for right now.

Excellent, cheerful not complex perfume. Rose, jasmin and fruit in even dosage. Sweet nectar impact without being sickly sugar sweet. Doubtful there is real jasmin in this yet it smells indeed like vine flowers - jasmin or especially honeysuckle. With peach. A pretty and innocent scent that might even please 10-15 year olds. Nothing "old lady" here other than the cute throwback bottle. Props for a great value commodity at $5. I will mention that I prefer Jasmin Secret, by a different brand: Jeanne en Provence, and which occasionally can be found for $5 as well.

Esse querido é um eau de toillet pra menos, de forma alguma tem performance de parfum!, já começa por aí... A fragrância é deliciosa sim, essa nota de chá de jasmim é uma DELÍCIA! A laranja também é muito boa pois é amarga, se fosse uma laranja doce, talvez desandaria muito mesmo, sinto a pêra embalando e equilibrando tudo isso. Eu senti mais falta daquele cheirinho de jasmim tipo dama da noite, sabe? Mais indol, mais inebriante, mas infelizmente ele traduz em mim a saída do começo ao fim, apenas!, um perfume floral branco cítrico e aquático, para aquele calorão de rachar. Vi várias resenhas que dizem que ele é IGUAL o Lady Lily e ele tem muito essa pegada mesmo (tanto em fragrância quanto em performance pífia), só não posso afirmar 100% pois não tenho este na coleção, lembro de ter sentido ele na loja antes de ir pro cemitério da Boticário. Enfim, delicioso pra quem gosta dessa vibe, um cheirinho bem ordinário, cabe lindamente no nosso clima e precisamos tomar um banho dele pra ter uma performance ok.

As others are saying, this is a classic, feminine, sweet floral fragrance. Very pleasant and very safe, but unfortunately you can't get away with the cheap and slightly artificial vibe of it. People around you will like it and even complement you, but those of more refined tastes will stay politely silent.

As for most Jeanne Arthes perfumes, almost no sillage and longevity. However, the scent was nice, good as a bed time fragrance.

Aaallll the flowers. This is how I imagine classical perfume. I genuinely believe that for someone who loves florals, this is very affordable and pleasant option, albeit maybe a tiny bit oldfashioned. Sadly, not at all for me. I love tea which makes appearance about an hour in, but the rose + magnolia combo create an imagine of my aging highschool teacher, coming to the morning class after having her third cigarette of the day. Shame, I was determined to like it, freezia + tea + orange sounded interesting.

This smells cheap. I used it up as a room spray.

If out there exist edible jasmine candy it would smell like this. Imagine circle...center would be jasmine tea and around that center (like an aura) would be scent of jasmine flower. Outer circle would be sugar cane with some green sharpness...can't smell any orange, rose or magnolia 🙄 just sweet jasmine. In general it's very good white floral scent for no money (if you like jasmine). But it's not safe blind buy.
