Cobra for Him Version Inedite

Excellent fragrance from France that can be found once in awhile in the discount bin no less! Scored a 3.3oz for 9.99usd. It is a Orange Blossom bomb, along with Vanilla and Tonka, some of the Oakmoss on drydown too. Maybe a touch of Amber? Unique for sure, smells like nothing else in my wardrobe really. Seek this out, even just to sample.

This fragrance is very complex. It starts out very citric and dries down to a vanilla/spicy scent. To bad it does not last at all on my skin. After a 1/2 hour I cannot smell it anymore. I got it for $10.00US. I sprayed it on my shirt and it lasted a long time. I guess it sticks to fabric better than skin.

Sampled this today. At the beginning, I was unsure whether or not I'd like it: it starts out spicy-fresh (not my favorite genre) and then unexpected notes of florals and sweet woods appeared to confuse that first impression... a soapy-lavender heart emerged and then I thought "oh, it is a clean fragrance after all..." but no... after 2 hours this part dies down and leaves a MARVELOUS, warm, musky scent with cool, metallic contrasts and spices lingering in the heart above. This effect is so very sexy and intriguing- similar to the drydown of both Halloween Man and Drakkar Noir. Longevity could be better, but I get 5-6 hours whick is ok; sillage is overall "soft". Overall, a nicely-affordable, reserved fragrance with some complexity and interesting contrasts within its development.

Bought Cobra for my husband. I couldn't resist spritzing some on myself. Not bad at all for a woman. Lots of citrus followed by spices and vanilla. The slight amount of oakmoss gives it a little zing, very little tho. Pleasant, nowhere overpowering. Good for casual and day wear. Rather reserved fragrance but quite affordable.

Jeanne Arthes fragrances is a mystery to me: Cheap, Synthetic, frequently looked down upon, however sometimes almost niche smelling. I first tried some of their fragrances in early 2000s. And I was surprised to see this fragrance and several others lurking on the bottom shelves. It is a lightly intoxicating unisex fragrance which borrows a lot from Le Male, Davidoff Cool water. Alcohol is quite prominent here, however this is wearable. This could be sold as a flanker of Le Male in my opinion. Highly unisex. I am still not sure wether intoxication is an error or feature, but it gets the job done.

It is a mix of several vibes. In the opening, it is lively citrus, going to deeper but clean spice. Better to use on colder climate. It's like having a good chat or ride with your colleagues in the sunset bay.

I dont get the too much similarity with Le Male,Individuel , Joop ...This is very unique , its fresh,aromatic its nice for the price 7€ 100ml.
