Collection Azur Virée en Mer

out of all the lily of the valley scents I've owned, this is the first one that smells JUST like the flower as it's found in the wild. I'm not getting any kind of sunscreen scent from this fragrance, to me this literally smells just like a bouquet of freshly picked lily of the valley flowers covered in dew and rainwater. it's absolutely divine!

Not totally unpleasant, but too tropical for me and smells cheap (may not be surprising for some, but I own a few Jeanne Arthes' fragrances and they do not smell cheap at all). I do not detect too many marine notes, just a lot of lily of the valley turning into solar notes/tiare/coconut. Potentially better after some maturation, I may give it a try in a few months. EDIT: After 3 weeks of maturation it got creamier and less prominent on a synthetic lily of the valley note. Now tiare dominates the whole experience and it got much more pleasant, especially for the price. I can also detect something like lotus/water lily, which makes it a fragrance somewhere between Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited by Lattafa, La Belle Paradise Garden by JPG and Intimate White Flowers by Angel Schlesser. It sits in the middle of this triangle for me. It is a bit creamy and airy at the same time, going in the 'exclusive tropical soap' direction.

First impression with no maceration in cool weather. Spa like. Airily mediterranean. Fresh coconut water and bamboo grass...creamy and dewy-sweet. Hints of sun warmed leaves on sea air. Reminding myself of the notes, I can find the hint of monoi, as if sifted through a waterfall curtain. A few sprays of this on my hand towels and the room was scented for 2 days! Excellent sillage and duration. On skin it would be soothing, making me feel put-together and unruffled as this wafts around me on a hot oppressive day.

Suntan lotion with strong "sea notes" so don't buy if you don't like seaweed fragrance molecules. I'm going to let my bottle breathe until next summer. I paid 6 bucks.

Smells cheap and flat. I don't know what I have expected for the price, however...The only good thing was the picture on the packaging. Do not recommend at all!
