Fuel Power for Women

This is one of my favorite fragrances from Jeanne Arthes, along with Capriceuse and Perpetual Pearl. In fact, I find myself reaching for this one more and more recently despite not typically being a fan of orange or citrusy notes. Maybe it's because it's the perfect antidote to the freezing Midwestern winter that's closing in. After the initial citrusy burst, FP envelopes you in a cuddly, creamy, carmelly drydown that on me lasts well past the six hour mark. (Although I do use an unscented body lotion first to give it something to cling to.) Surprisingly and pleasantly, the orange blossom really remains present throughout. I've never smelled Pour Femme so I can't comment on the similarity, but I've had Pure Poison and I agree with the reviewer that said if you enjoy that one, you'll enjoy this. Jeanne Arthes is really an amazing find; these are legitimate French fragrances that are extremely well blended and high quality for a fraction of the price of a high end designer. Overstock.com currently has a decent selection. If sweet, creamy gourmands are your thing, Fuel Power is exceptional...try it, you won't be disappointed!

Good news! I just discovered Al Rehab Rawan, and it's a dead ringer for Fuel Power! Just a few swipes under a couple generous spritzes of Fuel Power, and I still smelled amazing 12+ hours later. Plus a 6ml perfume roll on can be easily found online (I prefer al-reshad.com) for less than $3. Poor longevity? Not anymore!

LOVE!! Another Jeanne gourmand I am obsessed with! Smells exactly like Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme 2012-- which I love! ^^ First impression. :) I consider this to be in the Holy Three of Jeanne Arthes scents.... Those being my three favorite JA gourmands: Caprisciuse, Private Room, and this: Fuel Power. However, this one is the weakest of the longevity and sillage. (I am in my cold Michigan winter, about 10 degrees F, and I find my perfumes don't last long in the cold/my dry house) I get the impression that JA meant to dupe D&G Pour Femme 2012, but with juicy fruits/citrus instead of the raspberry. The orange blossom and marshmallow are def the same range as PF. I layered the hell out of myself with this, I just got it yesterday and I was sooooo happy because PF is one of my Top 3 scents (I'm a gourmand freak! My top scents are La Vie Est Belle, Jimmy Choo, PF, Fantasy, and Pink Sugar)... upon layered the hell out of my clothes it stayed in the juicy fruit sweet stage. I get NO Patchouli from this, thankfully because patch makes me sick and I can't take it... (Angel has NEVER worked for me-- doesn't matter what the other notes are.) JA are quality scents, this one just seemed to lack longevity and potency right now. I love it tho.... I got a bottle from Overstock.com for $13ish and ordered 2 more. If you love the sweet gourmands like me, get this and Caprisciuse! (and Private Room... haha) And as an added bonus... because I'm a goth/punk at heart... I love love love the bottle and box and the cute skull charm!! however, if you use the perfume-- the skull charm will have to come off. Another AMAZING Jeanne Arthes find... Perpetual Pearl. Right now, I can only find it at Overstock.com It is the PERFECT dupe to La Vie Est Belle.

This is ALMOST identical to Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme and is a quarter of the price! I'm not in love with the fragrance, but it is a strong like for me. I do wish the caramel note was a little more prominent as most of the sweetness of this scent comes from the marshmallow note to my nose. To anyone who likes Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme and doesn't want to spend $40-$60 on a bottle of it...you'll be amazed that this smells basically identical for $10. And Jeanne Arthes really is impressing me with the longevity of their scents considering the price. This is no exception. I get about 7 hours of duration of this scent. Sillage - Not bad at all. About 2-3 feet. Again, the scent itself isn't a love for me, but a strong like and it's AMAZING quality for it's price. I get the same longevity with this that I do with the actual D&G Pour Femme. Outstanding job with this one! Overall Score - 8/10

This smells almost exactly like Armani Code Luna. Upon initial 2 sprays the similarity is exact and the dry down is a scrumptious floral vanilla marshmallow, This past my overnight test going pretty strong 7 hours later. I could easily see this going from day to night , summer to winter, very versatile. This smells like a quality perfume, fruity floral sweet but the patchouli is very light and in the background. If you love the Armani codes and want something way cheaper-got this for 3.50- go for it. The longevity alone is worth it, this is my biggest pet peeve with expensive perfumes, longevity is lacking in many
