Guipure & Silk Crystal

Smells like yummy grapefruit candy, then rosey floral comes up. Good for casual use. The bottle desigh is very kitsch! It reminds me a room fragrance from supermarket but I like it. It doesn't smell expensive but I bought it cheap anyway.

I tested it today in local store. YUK! It smells like package of liquorice with fruit sweets.Afternotes were also some dried fruits. It ́s also too synthetic for me.

I wanted the bottle in my collection more than anything else but I was pleasantly surprised to discover the scent is very nice so this was a good blind buy. This fragrance is fruity, very very fruity. It's got pomegranate, watermelon, strawberry and peach in heavy doses. The opening is a fruity burst of deliciousness. The watermelon note is aquatic and the grapefruit is a bit sour but not bad. The floral note of jasmine is prominent and the base note of sandalwood. The whole thing turns into a soft cloud of scent that smells mainly of a raspberry. I think this is fruity enough for summer and to wear to the beach, to wear here in Florida where I live to go out shopping and have lunch in the day time. Casual sweet and girly.

Discontinued and in demand, which is rare for a Jeanne Arthes fragrance. I didn't like the scent too much, but obviously others love it enough to pay around $30-40 for a full bottle of it.
