Guipure & Silk Rose

This one gets lukewarm reviews on every platform, so I decided to give it a little love. First of, yes, it is kinda mid. Yes, one does expect something more gourmand looking at the notes and might be disappointed with the first sniff. However! As the adage goes, basic things are popular for a reason. I wasn’t impressed with it at all. But then there came a day when I didn’t know what I wanted to wear. To go without any perfume felt like wasting a day of my life, so I gave this mid basic another chance. And then I continued to wear it for a week non-stop. I even think that this might become my signature for this winter. It has my favorite citrus-rose-vanilla-patch, combo with a juicy apple twist. Everything I love, except it’s so toned down, so not bothersome, that it fits every day, even without a specific mission/mood/statement. And yes, it definitely has patchouli in it, although the note isn’t listed here. It comes through after 5-10 minutes and never goes away. Gives a bit of a poisoned apple impression.

A neat rose with a touch of apple. The scent is nothing extraordinary, but really not bad. It's fresh and summery, and not overpowering as florals can be. I got it because I love the original guipure and wanted to collect all seven, and though this is not the best in the collection, it is different from the others and adds another perspective. Unfortunately the performance is what's expected for a budget perfume (even though this one isn't budget anymore since it's discontinued and only resold)

Oh this is yum. I really like this sweet fruity rose concoction. It has only a vague resemblance to Euphoria as there are no woody notes here. Just fruity rosy goodness, and that bottle looks so cute. edited to add: I am changing my love rating to a like, because the lovely scent goes away quickly, more like a body spray would do...maybe it's for the better, because I have no idea where to buy this. I agree with mystica,this bears a striking resemblance to CK Euphoria: Strong fruity top note and flowers on a chypre base. But, be warned : it is very poorly concentrated and, unlike the CK fragrance, has very little sillage and lasting power. Nice fragrance; I enjoy it for about 15 minutes... before I can't smell it anymore !

Fruity rosy bonbon-like scent. Rose and black current mainly. Light at first but intensifies with time. There has to be some amber here but it's not listed. Lastage 2-3 hours. Package design is quite nice. For $15 why not.

I had it long time ago and gave it to ... I forgot who. Blind bought it due to adorable color and bottle. It smelt good on paper also when I sniff the bottle... Sweet rosey scent. At home... This perfume didn't work on my skin. The sweet rosey scent turns icky and makes me dizzy. Along with JA jasmine, rose, and this .... I already disappointed with JA fo three strike. But, I will try Sultane Noir for the last chance. If SN didn't work too, maybe JA formula simply not click with me. And it means I need to hunt cheapie scent from others, such as La Rive or Linn Young.

Smells like a non-drinkable, watered down synthetic apple- and tart berry juice with aldehidic, slightly citrusy roses. I think thats all there is to know about the scent. Its fresh and light, ideal for warmer weather if you don't mind the cheap smell that lingers inside of its cloud. That being said, its the weakest of the line. No regrets buying it though for just the bottle alone. Wish a flanker would come in a blood red colour.

Sprayed this on in the shop today, it smelt really good for five minutes the disapeared, not impressed.

If I have old aunt that travel a lot, to India, Maroko, or middle east region. That really easy going, kinda chatty but still stay classy. Always going to gathering that full of roses and exotic foods with spices. U can find her make new friend with local or sultan in the night of desert festival. Wow ^o^ my imagination travel in this perfume, it is kinda heavy for me, I give this to my aunt.

Just bought this at TJ Maxx for $3.99, And I like it. I normally hate anything with a dominant rose note because they all smell musty on my skin. This one actually works, and it's the body spray so it's light enough for summer. I'm not familiar with this brand, don't know if it's readily available in the U.S.

This is a copy of CK Euphoria. It has a plastic-y note, and at the dry-down I smell some rose in a soft and musky way.

This is straight up rose on me. Not too strong. It's a pleasant day scent that won't offend anybody.

reminds me of the explosive Etienne Aigner, I love it.
