JS Magnetic Power

Vraiment pas mal du tout, surtout pour son prix. J'ai eu l'homme idéal et je n'ai pas aimé. J'ai quand même acheté celui ci qui avait les mêmes notes pour comparer. À ma grande surprise je l'ai adoré. Il y à des notes qui me dérange dans l'homme Idéal que je ne retrouve pas dans celui-ci. Je préfère cette composition qui n'est pas là même malgré quelques similarités. Un départ de bergamote, fruité, (Cerise?) un peu alcoolique qui après le séchage se révèle être très agréable. Je perçois ensuite la cerise légèrement sucrée, acidulée, avec la douceur de l'amande et du jasmin. Les épices sont douces mais quand même perceptibles tout comme le laurier. C'est un parfum fruité, doux et épicé. Je ne dirais pas gourmand, il ne devient en tout cas jamais écoeurant, écrasant, ou trop sucré. Peut se porter facilement lors de belles journées. Sillage : Moyen/Correct Longévité : Moyen/Correct Ma note : 7.8/10 Rapport qualité-prix : 9/10

Can't even start to describe how much I love this fragrance. I first blind bought it on Notino as it was really cheap and I wanted to see what it smelled like. When i first got it I fell in love immediately. Nice smooth smell with almond notes, a touch of rosemary and bay leaves, beautifully rounded with spices. The only drawback is it's longevity and sillage which is close to none. It lasts about 2h max and it doesn't project not one bit. I tried spraying a bit more (8+ sprays) and it doesn't make a difference. My friend has Guerlain L'homme Ideal and i noticed the similiarity on first whiff. For me the almond is an absolute winner. As mentioned, I love this one, I just wish it would have stronger logevity and sillage. P.S.: I would also recommend Jeanne Arthes Magnetic Power Navy Blue. It's almost the same as Versace Eros. Perfect mint-citrus combination.

Quite an understated and surprisingly easy going sweet/spicy fragrance! All my past experiences with sweet-spicy tend to be mixed as I love them to begin with but I get sick of them after about an hour... this though? I can see myself wearing this all day, that almond has a sweetness that's not too cloying, and the aromatics round it out nicely. It's comforting! The packaging was odd, but understandably cheap; all it came in was the seller's box and some cellophane wrap to keep the cap on - with the info and ingredients on it mind you. The cap itself is okay, it's a bit of a weak magnetic cap but nifty nonetheless. Lovely fragrance for such a steal of a price! Performance might be moderate to low as is expected for the price, but you could easily restock on this without worry.

I am glad this fragrance is finally found in fragrantica. I purchased it for que equivalent of US $20 (my country is really expensive). I had to, because the smell really cautivated me; it's warming, sweet and spicy with a hint of woods, very well balanced in my opinion. This is the kind of fragrance I would buy again when I run out of it. Presentation is neat, magnetic cap and very sturdy bottle. It's a glass recipie covered wiht a very hard plastic. Moderate projection and longevity, more towards a weaker side but very pleasant and you can carry a decant to solve any performance issues. 9/10 overall, excellent price/quality relationship

I LOVE this perfume,the smell is soothing and it calms me down,the longevity it pretty good it lasts about 5 6 hours on me,the projection is about an arms length,its an amazing fall fragrance since its warm and soothing and its pretty creamy, I rate it a 8.5/10 I recomend this for guys that like warm soothing fragrances

This is a hidden gem. I am amazed by the quality of this when it’s priced at only USD12-16 where I’m at. I have yet to try Guerlain but this fragrance on its own is very good. My nose picks up the Almond, Amber and some leather. Bang for the buck! Just blind buy like what I did. Nothing to lose.

The opening on this is so good, addictive powdery sweet scent. It doesn't last long unfortunately so I replenish every 2 hours. I prefer to wear for night during fall.

Who ever rated JS as overpriced is smoking something illegal.

Before purchasing this fragrance from a supermarket I tested it out several times, just to be sure I wasn't imagining things. Surely a low budget fragrance (approx 8 Euros/100ml) couldn't smell so good AND last for more than an hour (note I purchased this before the amazing Terre d'Evasion by Inessance)?! The scent was spicy with a warm and inviting amber and reminded me of a cola drink with a splash of amaretto liqueur and hints of vanilla & fruit (cherry?). A lightly smoky leather note becomes apparent on the dry-down but it's not animalic or off putting, just adds a little depth and darkness to a fragrance that starts out rather brightly. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a bottle, the bottle itself is very stylish and incredibly sturdy in the hand, it also feels good to hold cover in a matte black plastic resin with shiny red features and sprayer (which works well), the magnetic cap works well too. Like the other scents in the line (see my review for the Navy Blue version which smells like RL Polo Sport) it's tailor made to take knocks and is ideal for travel or to throw in your gym bag. I knew I had smelled something similar before but couldn't put my finger on it for a time but then it hit me- l'Homme Idéal by Guerlain! My next visit to a local perfumery confirmed my suspicions, this juice is remarkably similar to the well known designer's offering but at a fraction of the price! Of course to me the Guerlain smells superior but the Jeanne Arthes EDT is really quite decent! I've only worn it a few times so far but each time it grows on me and I notice little nuances in the scent. I do intend to buy l'Homme Idéal at some point but this affordable and versatile EDT will do for now! Bravo Jeanne Arthes. Scent: 8 Longevity: 6.5/7 (around 6 hours, but more testing needed) Projection/sillage: 6 Bottle (no box just cellophane wrap): 9 Value for money: 10 (8 Euros/100ml)

Greetings, Joe Sorrento line from Jeanne Arthes is basically their take on "popular fragrances". Some of them are more interesting as the others as is the case with Magnetic Power. As some has mentioned before, the similarity to Germain L'Homme Ideal is uncanny. And this is understandable as there are very few budget fragrances that attempted to recreate this masterpiece. In short it is a well made analogue of LHI Guerlain, with most notes in place. However it is missing the cherry note which is found in the original. The longevity is 1/2 or 1/3 of the original it tries to repeat. In general it is a good buy for everyone who wants to see if Guerlain L'Homme Ideal is a good fit to them, as Guerlain fragrances are quite costy. Another budget analogue of LHI could be: Free Man by New Brand 100ml Edt. However I personally like Joe Sorrento line a bit more, as it has that nostalgic place in my memory, which was one of the few companies that occasionally produced fragrances affordable to people living in poorer countries or unwilling to spend big money on things they might not like later on. It is a well justified bargain, works as a blind purchase. 8/10 as a fragrance in the ultra cheap category. 9/10 for creating a budget take on a legendary fragrances nearly impossible to imitate correctly. Bought this for £3.60 yes that's right haa. a blind buy on a good rating so I wouldn't of lost if I never liked it, smelling it i like it alot sweetish and a warming scent, bought another 2, so 3 for a tenner?!! I don't see it listed but am I getting a little cherry in there? A solid 8.5 from me, longevity will let me down but happy to spray more every few hours.

Wow, I bought it for like 6$ in Poland, for this price it is truely a steal. Very classy and joyful. Not a top-notch quality, but for sure something you would expect to cost at least 4 times more. Nice blend, not groundbreaking but quite good parameters and a veeery fine, solid bottle with magnetic cap. Safe, worth trying!

Another good creation from the House. No it's not competing against 70+EUR frags. No it's not groundbreaking, long lasting or a clone. It is a very solid frag that smells simply good and with moderate longevity. If you can get it for under 20eur is a good deal. I got it for 7eur. And for that price it's a steal.

Somehow it gives a plum cake vibe... i think it's the clove, cinnamon and cardamom. I like it but it's definitely for winter.

I sprayed L’Homme Ideal on one arm, JS Magnetic Power on the other. Here's a comparison. JS Magnetic Power clearly takes inspiration from LHI but ultimately doesn't succeed in being a perfect clone. The almond in LHI is more pungent (in a way I personally love) and noticeable, while in JSMP it blends more with the other notes. In LHI, the citruses and orange blossom are more noticeable, while JSMP gives more weight to the spices, which ultimately make JSMP less suitable for warmer days compared to LHI. Finally, performance on JSMP is very weak, so overspraying is recommended. Ultimately, this is a very cheap fragrance that smells ok, but the poor performance sort of ruins the deal.

This perfume is fresh & energetic, suitable for all-day wear in any occasions. I pick up the bitter almond mixed with bergamot & spicy notes in this perfume. I’d imagine confident, urban men wearing this perfume. The bottle design is absolutely admirable - so sturdy & elegant. Lasts for about 4 hours & then it will become skin scent. Truly Jeanne Arthes = Luxurious fragrances at affordable price ♥️

Similiar to Guerlain Ideal??? Aahahahah yes yes , this is watererd down Guerlain, i paid 7€ and this smells like Guerlain in the drydown but way way weaker. EDIT: The sprayer its the most crap that i seen

Honestly i was surprised by the quality of this one. The almond note on this one makes it similar to Guerlain l'Homme Ideal but obviously lacks performance. Very good for the price tho :)
