Love Generation Blue

saw this in the local department store, it says eau de parfume, 60mL, for less than 10 USD. since i need a light cologne i can double up as linen spray, i just got it without thinking much. i am not dissapointed!it is very light and crisp fruity fragrance. a bit of citrus on the top makes it smell very refreshing, then sweet fruits (IMO, it was litchi, even thou it was not in the notes list). it gets more musky-sheer vanilla towards the end. I agree with onheels thou, that it has a hint of masculine notes in the base. even though it doesnt last very long, i kind of expect it from this type of scent. overall, i agree with joaquimdaniel, this perfume bring about high value to me!

I think this one should win "The Best for the Money". Most of perfume buyers (even experienced ones) just look at bottles and brands. People think that good perfumes will always come from the great brands and will be always very expensive, but Jeanne Arthes proves the inverse. Citric and sweet in the right measure Love Generation Blue is not a state of art, but stills an excellent scent!

I love the top notes in this perfume! It's so fresh, citrusy mixed with with a little bit of powdery notes. It's soft and gentle not super long lasting like I would like. The base turns more to flowery with the powdery note still present. At the end you're left with a soft gentle vanilla aroma.

It isn't masculine, and ridiculous to compare with Axe, sorry. It is a pure youth which usually wear teenager girls when they go to school. When I spray it, I can imagine the blue jeans trousers and a cotton T-shirt which is perfect match with this fragrance. Not spicy, not a fruit bomb, so it is wearable for an average girl because it isn't a pinky-girlish-sugary style. Very lovely bottle, nice fragrance.

The scent gets quite masculine on me. There is something about it that reminds me of Axe. But I like it anyway. I wear it when I want to be casual and chill out :)
