Love Generation Mystic

Well, it would appear that I am the only review for this hidden gem and I truly don't know why. This stuff is STRONG, like, knock your socks off strong, even if longevity on me is only around 4 to 5 hours. I mean seriously, this goes on nuclear, clear a room out job. It goes on to start as mainly orange, the sharp, in your face kind that is ten times stronger than coco mademoiselle, although the use of orange is very similar. But this orange zings like a bastard. This bitter, but juicy, in your face orange stays for the duration of the perfume's life on skin, eventually softening to a nutty, floral, gingery, vanillic lightly peppered (the pink variety) but vaguely clashing array of notes. I don't know, I find it quite nice, but it does clash a little bit to me. I'm not keen on the walnut and ginger, which doesn't sit well somehow with the orange and vanilla. I don't mean to damn it with faint praise, because the actual quality of the ingredients is better than a lot of high-end stuff I've tried, I'm just not sure I like the composition. I reckon it could be quite sickening to some people, and not recommended for the migraine sensitive. But that said, I like it. It's dirt cheap, and I picked up a box set of it a while back. The body moisturizer is a lot better than the perfume, it seems to hang together better and is a little less harsh, more floral, less orange, and creamier. Yes, I like the moisturizer a lot. The perfume can also go a little masculine, I find. For those of you that think coco M goes a little mannish, it's just amateur compared to this stuff. Drydown is a weak vanilla with a trace of walnuts rolled in orange juice. If the notes appeal to you, do try it because quite honestly, you won't find much better for sheer quality of ingredients used, especially at this price-point.

This is the only Jeanne Arthes fragrance that i own, and i kinda like it. It's a little peppery and flowery, and hints of orange come to my nose without being too sweet. I have the feeling that i would like it more in spring and autumn time, cause for me, is strong only in the opening. After a while it becomes a soft, calm , a little fresh scent. On my skin performs more like a skin scent for 3-4 hours. It's a nice easy breezy scent.

To me I get coconut in this which I don't see listed as an ingredient. I love the price, longevity is stronger than a body spray, not as potent as some eau de parfums. A peppery floral w/ a vanilla and salt (to me coconut) drydown, I enjoy this but I don't see replacing it. There is something a little shrieky to it on me, that I worry would be off-putting to others- I think it's the combination of walnut and jasmine.

There's hazelnut in the top notes and not walnut, according to the box. It is very similar to Olympea, but a bit more nutty in my opinion and I actually prefer this one. Sillage is amazing as mentioned below, on my skin it lasts for 8 hours. More than decent for such a cheap price.

This is 100% Olympea, there is no differences at all. For those who love Olympea, but can't afford it try this one.

If Olympea is offensive to your nose because it is so strong and ́salty ́ then you might want to give this one a try, it is not identical by any means, you can feel there is a nutty accent baked into this one and perhaps that is what takes the edge off this being too acquatic/summery. I like this one a lot better than Olympea. Not great lasting power but for the price it is a great alternative

J'aime bien le flacon et la boîte turquoise et dorée même s'ils ne vont pas vraiment avec la fragrance. Un oriental vanillé léger, qui sent aussi les fruits secs et les épices douces, agréable au moment de noël par exemple. Des allures d'Olympea. La tenue est correcte, il ne vous envahit pas mais vous accompagne confortablement. Beaucoup de trouvailles à faire dans cette petite marque.

Strong, salty-sweet vanilla scent - obvious reminder of Olympea, really long-lasting. Good for a start of your adventure with this type of scents - if you can handle this one, you can handle Olympea and the like!
