Perpetual Pearl

This is definately not unisex as advertised, it's way too girlie sweet for men IMHO..... Perpetual Pearl is a beautiful sweet perfume, to my nose it's reminiscent of La Vie Est Belle with that sweet and lovely chocolate note, but with a prettier drydown, the chocolate note in Perpetual Pearl has something else added to it, but I cant make out what it is yet. Sillage and longevity is very good = 10+ hours, and the best bit? it costs £10 for 100ml.... which is why I have 300ml in my cupboard as back ups, because it really IS that beautiful. If you wore LVEB on one arm then JAPP on the other, you couldnt tell a differnce for the first hour, but then the dry downs on both of them are very beautiful, just very slightly different., BOTH winners in my eyes, I quite happily own both and find them different enough to warrant it. The difference in the drydown is not enough to make you think that LVEB is horrible or anything, just a teeny bit different, in a good way.

This perfume is sugary delightful - perfect for any occasion, and absolutely safe for office. My nose picks up the neroli, peach & caramel notes which blends together deliciously (On the box it says one of the top notes is neroli). The dry down is sweetly warm. I am amazed with how the box looks so exclusive, but the bottle can be designed in much better way. I’d imagine a confident, urban woman wearing this perfume. This is one of my successful blind buy & I have no regret (I gambled and bought two!) ♥️

Definitely worth trying but my bottle after a year of maturation still has some weird, very synthetic note of powder and petrol. With this peculiar note, it reminds me a lot of some cheap Arabian fragrances like Entebaa, Inara, Supremacy Pink, Rose 01, which all gave me a similar impression before maturation. It shares some DNA with the Police scents - To Be Goodvibes and To Be The Queen - but Police ones smell like heaven on my skin whereas Perpetual Pearl remains cheap, synthetic and sickly sweet. UPDATE: A year and a half and it finally smells like maturated. Now it’s what the notes suggest, very pleasant easy-reach for autumn and winter. Surprisingly enough, this now enters the Bianco Latte territory - I checked Lattafa’s Eclaire and PP really reminds me of it.

This is another recent blind buy I got during sale. Perpetual Pearl is a fragrance that is sweet, and fruity. First time I sprayed after opening it, all I can really smell is Alcohol and the bottle was warm (straight opened once received from delivery). It was cloying, nothing that I like about it, BUT, again after giving time for a few days for the scent and alcoholic fumes to settle down in the bottle, this EDP smells quite nice, and straight forward. I can sniff the sweetness of the peach, and lactonic smell from the caramel as it comes to a dry down, very bubbly soft end. Not quite a gourmand, more of a lactonic fruity fragrance though? Longevity is around 3-4 hours on me, and it is perfect for people that doesn't like strong, overpowered smelling fragrance.

This perfume is very similar to La Vie Est Belle, which I don't own but tested this against at Ulta. LVEB is a bit brighter and lighter. Perpetual Pearl is more chocolatey, almost like cocoa. I do like them both, but the price on PP is better. I found it on Overstock.com for only $12 thanks to a tip from another Fragrantican :)

The initial rose scent from the bottle almost scared me away with the feeling of regret. But the rose note faints fast and the dry-down is indeed a very intensive chocolate with soft lingering rose (bearable, not too heavy). First there were no fruity notes on me, but then the peach grew stronger.

Reminds me of LVEB, but more subtle and creamy. On skin it is between a milder Pink Sugar and La vie est Belle.

Nauseating peach and caramel. In vein of La vie est belle, just simpler and cheaper.

I like pink liquid in the bottle (on website ) but when it came its orange, idk maybe cause different variation. I live in tropical country, always summer never winter. the scent doesn't come out right, aroma so subtle almost none, maybe cos of heat ?? The least perfume that i pick from dresser. When I move to the cold place (mountain area), scent come out strong, it has warm, unique, and dry down gentle note. in my mind it suitable for a lady in pearl with preppy style, casually walking in cold weather after the rain. it has expensive and unique warm odor, long lasting in fabrique. I have high end brand perfumes but they did not have the uniqueness of perpetual pearl. love it.

The fragrance is reminiscent of LVEB, but definitely quite different. It smells similar in the bottle, but on my skin it's less floral and more chocolatey. As an ardent lover of gourmand fragrances, this is a plus for me. I wouldn't say I love it, but it's definitely a keeper. The sillage and price range are both much lesser than LVEB, making it a good choice for daily use.

It does have a resemblance to La Vie Est Belle but... they are a world apart in terms of richness and longevity. With LVEB I only need a couple of sprays and I will smell it on me all day, but with PP 20 sprays won't do. So it's not as economical as one would imagine. It is what it is and it is good enough for the price.

I don't see how this is unisex. I'm pretty sure they did a formula change because the scent is very sweet and girly, almost like cotton candy.

Sweet white chocolate and pineapple dust. Smell gorgeous little bit flowery but sweet vibe around. If you love pineapples wear it.

You must try perfume. If you love sweet, chocolate and tropical fruits perfume. Cheap and beautiful. Sure for repurchase
