Sur Un Nuage

I'd buy another bottle of this floral gem in a heartbeat, if I could find it. It doesn't smell the least bit cheap to me nor do I perceive any individual fruit scents here; it's so well blended that no individual notes stand out. Sur un Nuage comes across to my nose as the pure floral scent of a plant I've loved nearly my whole life: night-blooming Angel's Trumpet, a member of the brugmansia/datura family. One plant situated in full sun can easily reach 3 feet high and 4 feet across, producing 3-4 dozen buds every night all summer long. The buds open at dusk and become creamy white, 6 inch fluted blossoms that truly glow in the moonlight, fill the air with a fragrant cloud of lemony jasmine and fall to the ground the next morning. The seedpods are like little green hedgehogs, all prickly. This is a very light yet persistent fragrance. Violets soften the sometimes sharp freshness of the lily of the valley in a mixture of lemon and jasmine that comes across as a thin trail of honeyed nectar. Ah, so nice!

This has become a favourite, very fresh and easy to wear. The fruit is not overbearing. Very nice for work, cheers me up.

Bought them occasionally on the flea market today. Lovely. Peaches first, then strong lily-of the-valley (lasts for about an hour). Then they disappear and her comes the base - stable musk as in Cerutti 1881 (lasts for 2-4 hours). Nostalgic scent, significant and stable as I like. Despite of the bottle's age (I mean what I've bought), the scent is still "alive". This scent must be worn carefully, only 1-2 sprays at once, not more, and only in cool or cold weather, or the surrounding people will be choked with your smell.

the best: the very pretty bottle with clouds the bad(for me):the smell i really hope more from this parfum but the the only thing that I perceive is pineapple with lemon and sugar so similar like mademoiselle azzaro leau tres belle bah, i really dont like it, but i admire the people that can feel the other notes i will sell it and waiting for other parfums that really smell much better <3

This was my graduation gift given to me by my best friend's family. For a few months I actually didn't mind the scent but when I started my perfume collecting at the start of last year, I realised how cheap and nasty this smelt. If this smelt a little bit like peach I might have liked it, but all I get from this is a sharp and sour pineapple accord. I can't detect any other notes. I'm not actually sure where my friend bought this, they definitely don't sell it in Australia.

Smells like a very sweet sparkling wine...very fruity but also some sort of alcohol in the background. Not a favourite of mine, and I generally love all of Jeanne Arthes' perfumes. Edit: the bottle is super cool though, with a sun embossed in frosted glass on the bottom.

my sister had this perfume.actually she pays more attention to the shape and beauty of bottle rather than the perfume inside. ok,it's not very provocative,but you can't expect something more for this price and it's good for the price. personally I get some strong "lotus" or other aquatic note.I don't get any other specific note.it's very fresh,but not freezing.it's girlish,but not cheap. unfortunately the long lasting power is not very good. by the way,the name is cool and matches the perfume:"in the top of a cloud"

Purchased this expecting the narcotic scent of Angel's Trumpets, but was instead met with the scent of a late 90s preppy college girl with a penchant for tennis skirts and Tommy Girl. Metallic citrus fruity floral evocative of a cheap-but-pleasant women's deodorant.
