Tea Time à Paris Tartelette Citron

I tested this in a supermarket. I already had used the green one (Macaron Amande) of this line and had been positively surprised of the value for money. Tartelette Citron smells lovely! I sprayed it in the air and did not want to leave that spot! Almost bought it, but only because I had decided not to buy any perfumes, I reluctantly left it on the shelf. I've had Light Blue in my collection for years, used it up, and loved the scent but hated the bad longevity. I don't think Tartelette Citron is a dupe. This has it's own character, there is a sweet note there. Don't let the cheap price tag fool you, this does not smell cheap. It's an easy to wear, fresh and cute spring and summer delight, also a mood-lifter.

Cut a fresh lemon in half. Squeeze it's juice on a cup, and add a spoonful of sugar. Mix it and smell it. Voilà! I simply LOVE this smell. It reminds me of a scent Natura had for a Tododia line when I was younger, Limão com Açúcar (Lime and Sugar), which I couldn't get enough of! Such nostalgia in a scent. Totally worth it for the price, love it. Smells great on my skin, though it doesn't last long. Will use it by the drop as it is so hard to find in Brazil. Precious for me.

To me, not a Light Blue clone. Commonalities? Sure, but I vastly prefer this. The lemon is more natural, the ginger is prominent. Finishes with a cedar with rounded edges. Really gets me ready for sun and warm weather. Great value for money - impressive longevity for a fresh scent. More lemonade than lemon tart.

This is lovely! I’m not a citrus fan but this is such a beautiful lemon scent. It’s not super sweet but it doesn’t smell lika a cleaning product either. And for the price?!? I really like it!

This smells just like a DG Light Blue Intense but on steroids! Ingredients are almost the same. Ginger is boosting lemon scent very powerfully. I'm in love with this one! 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

This one is absolutely incredible! Realistic lemon scent that took me by storm! So, so, good! Love it! But....to me it is not at all like Light Blue in any way!

Honestly? This is really nice. Sweet lemon scent. Perhaps like lemon icing that one would make with fresh lemon juice and powdered sugar. But its not powdery - it's icing-sweet and citrusy. It's a sweeter, less refreshing version of Light Blue. Not going to be for everyone, be sure to smell before buying. Although I like it, it's not something I would purchase. I smelled it in-store and it was quickly a "it's good, but not something I want to smell like or spend my money on" kind of scent. Jeanne Arthes has a lot of flops in my opinion, but this isn't one of them.

I like this a lot as an initial perfume for the day. It's bright and sweet, without (thankfully) getting much sweeter on me for a change. It lasts only an hour or two on me, but that's enough to get me cheery for the day before I reapply or swap scents. Because the tartlette citron is a very simple scent, I think it's perfect for layering, which I generally do with spicy, smokier scents.

Only get lemon and wood. But so refreshing. Blind buy but for the pricepoint im not mad about it.

Well, where to begin. I wanted to love this, I adore the idea and the bottles of the line, but from all of four fragrances, I can wear only Pavlova. Green one, Macaron Amande - at first I kinda liked it and it was a blind buy. Not anymore. I don’t even know what specifically, I just don’t like it. And this one, it smells like detergent powder and there is so much better alternative in this scent cathegory by L’Erborario - Cedro di Calabria. The newest one - Chou à la Crème smells so generic like it was some DM deodorant.

I REALLY wanted to love this one. Lemon pie is my favourite flavor and smell, it's just perfect. But these notes are kind of a lie... smells like nothing but cheap lemon vitamins, the fizzy ones you dissolve in water. It's horrible, pungent and synthetic 😭

Smells way too artifical! Almost like detergent, very linear smell - I smelled like a sugary lemon tart for 30 minutes and then it was gone. Not the good, warm, cozy sugar though, it was more like a cheap grocery store lemon tart. WNRP.

This smells like a cheap citrusy apple body wash, it could be fun for kids and preteens as a first fragrance.

It smells exactly like detergent or toilet spray, which is what I use it for.

Aroma chemicals ahoy! Definitely more light blue than a lemon meringue pie.

This is not a review: based on couple of wears. I was tipped off about this one. Ha! It's a fun fragrance indeed. Realistic lemon juice with some ginger and with ambery base. Very simple, yet full-bodied. Quite an okay longevity even. I get the comparisons to Moschino Cheap & Chic I Love Love and D&G Light Blue Pour Femme, but... I don't think so. Tea Time à Paris Tartelette Citron isn't as complex. It's also not as sweet. There is some sweetness though. So, it's not a dupe of Moschino or D&G, but if I spray my clothes, the late drydown next day will smell closer to Moschino/D&G, than the late drydown the day before, on my skin. Thus, hardly a dupe. In my opinion this is a unisex fragrance. Men's barbershoppy even. 100ml bottle for ~15 EUR, good price if you like this!

Adorable! Yes, there's a resemblance to D&G Light Blue but the cedar in Light Blue is more prominent. (Because of this, LB has greater lasting power.) Fragonard's Etoile is another in this family but Tartelette Citron is brighter at opening and perhaps a touch sweeter. I get no cleaning product in Tartelette Citron but lemon scents are risky; much depends on the user's own scent memories I guess. This might not be a safe gift unless you know the recipient's tastes already. Anyway, for me it's a charming, relaxing scent to live in during the summer months.

I found this for the special price of 5 euro (!) so I jumped on it. For this price, it's really great. It somehow reminds me of Devotion but it's more tart rather than sweet. Decent sillage and longevity, depending on ph and weather. If you can get it for less than 10-15 euro, yeah, go for it!

It smells lovely! Not artificial! The ginger gives it some spice and it's not too sweet! In the dry down the musk does his thing and becomes powdery. Not very long lasting ofc for that price. 1,2 hours. But i like to reapply and smell like a fresh lemon cake all over again! 💛

Smells like a straight up sweet lemony pie. Fresh uplifting and very easy to wear. Totally worth the price. Not so sure about performance though.
