Honestly, for € 7 that I spent on it, this puts majority of designer freshies to utter shame. Granted the perfume is nothing extraordinary and the quality is not super refined but its way tooo good for the price and I would happily pay x5 the price for this. Opens up very fresh floral and the I do detect the rose in the start which I am not entirely a fan of, but the rose note does subdue subsequently and the lavender and pine notes shine all the while surrounded by that super refreshing aquatic character, makes me remember and miss French Riviera, very nostalgic! Performance is where this perfume shines even more! I was pleasantly surpised by how well this performs for the price. Lasts 5-7 hours on skin and I can easily detect this on my clothes the next day with moderate projection for a couple hours or so, which is freaking amazing for a cheap freshie such as this! Presentation is decent and I love the simple but charismatic bottle and the atomizer is surprisingly decent too. All in all this is my best blind buy this year so far, probably becuase I was not expecting it to be this good and I dare say this is a better freshie than Missoni Wave (atleast to my liking) which suffers from hype. Grab this NOW people!

After having worn this a lot for the past two weeks I can say that this is a real gem, encased in a perfect sapphire blue bottle. Both the scent and performance are well beyond my expectations for the low price I paid. It's a refreshingly natural scent that really conjures up memories for me of living by the Mediterranean in France. The pine element reminds me of driving south and the strong scent once entering the Provencal hinterland around Aix or Salon. However in 'Acqua' this evergreen note blends perfectly with the floral elements here and a touch of marine freshness so it doesn't become too overpowering. Smelling this now I feel like driving south, pulling up next to one of my former favourite beaches, donning my swimming shorts and diving into 'le Grand Bleu'! A perfect option to have if you're tired of all the usual citrus or green spring/summer fragrances or simply don't want to fork out for a more expensive designer or niche 'freshie'. JeP Acqua has depth to it reflecting the beautiful blue of the remarkably classy yet simple octagonal bottle. Scent:9/10 Longevity:6+ hours Value for money 10/10 (I paid around 13 euros for 100ml-bargain!) Style: Aromatic, floral, pine/evergreen, aquatic.

Alright, review number 2! Got this one together with the Neroli Intense which I left another review for. As for Acqua: man this thing is fresh, clean, and watery. I never smelt Kenzo Pour Homme so can't compare it to that, but it's a lovely clean smell that's amazing for spring and summer days. Longevity and projection is OK, we're talking about a couple of hours on skin and about half a day on clothes. Very non-offensive and certainly feels more masculine than Neroli Intense, but would describe it as unisex that's leaning masculine. Also lend it to a female coworker (I take the bottle with me to work if I wear this) that liked the smell but also described it as masculine-leaning. I tend to use 10-15 sprays in the morning (7am) and re-apply 5-10 sprays around lunchtime (1pm), which will give me constant hits of the smell until I get home at like 6pm. Is that a lot of sprays? Maybe. Would it be better if you could get away with single application? Yes. But for $8 for 100ml, who cares. Really enjoy this one, may order it again when I run out! Just a lovely allround cheap freshie, 8/10 for me!

Wow! Just wow. This fragrance leaves me speechless. I was looking for some fresh non-citrus summer fragrance and came across Acqua in the forums. When at it, I ordered two more fragrances from JeP line, for the price of one designer cheapie, I actually got three regular 100ml bottles. You can imagine I was a bit suspicious at first. But when I sprayed this I could not believe my nose. What you get is superunique niche-quality and natural smelling scent. I never smelled Kenzo, so cannot compare, but the fact that it does not ressemble any other frangrance is sufficient proof that you will be getting something special. Aquatic aromatic floral, very modern smelling to my nose. Both projection and longevity are above average. I'm quite excited and can already tell you what will be my signature scent this summer;-) 5/5 with price value ratio out of this world

YES on all fronts: Yes you can offer a high quality, yet inexpensive fragrance to the market! Yes, it performs! Yes, it has great packaging (box, bottle, sprayer). A very delicate take on a non sweet, non citrus summer scent. It goes along the lines of the 2006 Kenzo Homme Fresh release but where that goes soapy this one goes floral with a very lovely rose making it playful and less stiff then that Kenzo. Modern pine, natural acqua accords, sooting lavender and the above mentioned rose are the main players to me nose with a hint of moss at the drydown. Absolutely stunning! Bravo!

Just my first (immediate!) impressions upon opening my parcel from Jeanne en Provence. Wow, this is very nice indeed. Most certainly unisex as the rose balances perfectly with the lavender. Nice non-citrus summer fragrance. Instantly calming and refreshing. Watery, floral, herbal and musky. Reminds me of something, perhaps it's the Kenzo pour Homme that people have mentioned, that's one I've never owned but have sniffed a few times. This doesn't have the seaweed (some might say eggy) aroma from the Bvlgari Aqva line. Full review later. Cheers.

Had this gem for a year and it's now earned a place on my top shelf for now. Love it, although I find it best not to over spray on very hot days so it can work it's magic in a more subtle way (as it's not a weak fragrance, above average sillage and longevity). Truly amazing value for money, puts the usual designer brands to shame in terms of pricing, they (many of them) truly are ripping us off imo! Less than 10 euros for 100ml with great bottle and sprayer (not to mention the gorgeous marine, woody aromatic scent) with this, boom!

An excellent marine fragrance for an incredibly low price (under 10 euros for 100ml). This scent really does remind me of being by the coast on the French Mediterranean with that special blend of salty air mingling with the pines, shrubs and flowers warmed by the incessant southern sun. Not an everyday fragrance for me but quite a special one, love the simple yet stylish presentation too. Definitely worth a try for those who like marine scents, however I think some may find it a bit harsh if they are used to sweet aquatics.

@ngc709 Haha I can think of a thousand more over-hyped fragrances! Oh well, it's all subjective, sadly they're not all winners but thankfully they can't all be bad eggs either. At least the risk is minimal with this one compared to expensive designers but yeah it won't be for everyone, just like anything really. This stuff reminds me of living by the Mediterranean sea, love it but I wouldn't wear it every day as sometimes I need a little more sweetness or something lighter.

@ngc709 Ahh overrated as in the overall score here. My mistake. But then I don't pay much attention to the scores on this site, especially for frags with relatively few votes. I agree with you this won't be for everyone and of course scents can react differently on different people as we know. I don't think this is a mass appealing scent but it has the potential to strike a chord with someone as it did with me, unfortunately not for you though. Cheers!

nice and fresh, sadly its more male then unisex, I can find some similar notes with Kenzo pour homme but it’s not the same, In my opinion aqua its stronger (that’s why this perfume is more on male side) Over all very nice fragrance, long lasting and really strong smelling, for this price it’s a score👌🏻 If I was a boy I will definitely wear it 😝 for now I’m passing it to my boyfriend Edit: okay it’s smells very close to replica when the rain stops!

Great inspiration. When you spray it you know exactly what it is. Comparing side by side with OG Acqua is more fresh and piney. Which made it more mass appealing. At same time is also less woody, balsamic or even leathery(leather is not in note breakdown of Kenzo) which took out bit of depth of Kenzo Homme. Kenzo has more going on way more notes too. Shame ingredients were banned it was timeless scent.

Smells exactly like Kenzo . But the first edition of it from the 90s . Good quality too . You can tell they get their ingredients locally ( that explains de name Provence). They are set in Grasse ,France the capital of parfume. It's a classy natural simple summer fragrance. Their Neroli version is also topnotch for under 10 bucks . So if you miss the Kenzo from the 90s .. this is it .

I would love a window cleaner and a car freshener that smells as good as this eau de toilette! Interesting how scents can be interpreted so differently from person to person. I would much rather wear this than stuff such as Dior Sauvage or the current Bvlgari Aqva products, not even taking price into consideration (that's a big bonus though).

Aqua opens very fresh with a vivid note of lavender and aquatic notes. What i get mostly afterwards is musk with a sweet rose note. Nice aftershower linear concoction that won t stay long on the skin. Maybe a couple of hours at best. Natural smell at very low price

Jeanne en Provence? Never heard of them. Bought 100ml for 9$ on Notino and honestly this smells incredible. It is not the normal aquatic scent that you'd expect but rather a combination of aquatic and aromatic notes.

The opening smells closer to the og Kenzo Pour Homme from 1991 than the current formulation. Acqua sure lacks the depth and longevity of the original but for the dirt cheap price it's perfectly fine I guess.

At last an Aquatic I like, sophisticated and well made, good notes of lavender and wood, slightly sea salty too. (no vile mozzie repellent notes like Davidoffs Cool water Barff!!)

I paid for this aqua 14 euro. Incredible EDT quality like Bvlgary Marine but much better...worth every penny...extremly fresh and safe...you could sprey it every hour...try it

Clean, powdery rose and fresh pine like. Refined quality due to safe ingredients. As a female I use it for fabrics and skin. Although the pine vibe makes it a bit masculin.
