Dame Jeanne Nude

Nude is the perfect name for this scent. It falls into the 'your skin but better' category. In my opinion scents like that are versatile all rounders. Jeanne en Provence does a lovely pear note, and that is the primary fruit note that stands out at first, but it soon turns into a well-blended nude scent. The mixture of notes creates a cloud of clean, smooth warmth that at moments is lightly airy fresh, nearly aquatic, or warmer and cozy, sandalwood smooth. While freesia and violet are not listed in the notes, this smells very much like that combination, but with added airiness .I can see how this would differ depending on chemistry.

This one my least favourite from Dame Jeanne line. I cant figure out what exactly slightly irritates my feelings. Maybe combination of those fruits with flowers or a little bit screechy and tickling musk that makes fragrance a bit dusty...or maybe cedar makes it? This note there is also in Boucheron "Quatre" (also in the base notes musk+cedar). I suppose that is what I don't really like. BUT Rose itself is very nice here! Rose I really enjoy here! Jasmine and neroli I don't feel here much at all (unfortunately). For me it is not enough of either sweetness or freshness. P.S: I would remove cedar here and would add bourbon vanilla (or tonka beans) for to make is smother and a little bit more of neroli and jasmine.. :))
