Vanille Blonde

Natural smelling vanilla scent. It is a golden brown sweet and beautiful scent. The anis note is noticeable in the first 20 minutes, then it goes away. Sugar, benzoin, Bourbon Vanilla, this is so nice and cozy. very similar to Outremer and Vaniglia de Madagascar by Profumo di Firenze.

It’s a luscious, rich vanilla-based scent. I love its great sillage and longevity-I fan still smell it in my clothes the following day. It smells like pure, sweet, not at all synthetic vanilla to me.

So this arrived today Finally!!! I waited about a month and a half. It came in from Italy because I found it less expensive there than anywhere else...It does smell like vanilla but it is very sweet, I would say to sweet it reminds me a bit of Vanille from Parfumerie Tiki Tahiti but it is more like Vanilla Bean Noel from BBW ((which I personally find a bit overwhelming)). It gets lighter as it drys down. I do have to admit I am a bit disappointed, I like it but I can live without it. I have to add that I like the dry down very much after a couple of hours it smells like sugar, very nice.

I smelled it from the sampler. It gave me vanilla, star anise and... play dough? And some weird old man association? I smelled it on a paper strip. A little bit sugary vanilla, but not making much of an expression. Came back some hours later and it reminded me of Pink Sugar. Okay. Not what I'd expected from the bottle, but okay. I finally decided to actually spray it on my skin, and I'm glad I did! I can still feel that play dough but it's weirdly nice, kind of almond-esque; and powdered vanilla sugar, of course. It's sweet, but not sticky cloying toffee sweet. I could get used to this.

For the fragheads who know their vanillas, this is more Tihota than Vaniglia. The musk isn’t as prominent but there’s no caramel quality adding to the sweetness. Instead, it has that floral edge you get from Fire At Will but with star anise instead of mimosa. The vanilla vibe is in the same vein as Outremer but it’s definitely more niche quality, and longevity is exponentially better at around 8 hours on my perfume-devouring skin.
