Chapter Two

When I first sniffed Chapter Two, it hit me with this soft wave of elegance and quiet beauty — the kind of scent that feels like it’s walking beside you instead of shouting for attention. I’ve always believed fragrance has no gender, and this one proves it. The moment it settles on my skin, I feel put-together, grounded... almost lifted. Maybe that’s dramatic, but my fellow fragrance lovers will get it. Lol It’s airy gardenia with a creamy undertone, blended into something smooth and comforting. Some people describe it as a “bedtime scent,” and honestly? I get that. It’s intimate. It’s serene. I’d absolutely wear it to bed — but I’d also wear it everywhere else. I’ve caught myself sniffing my wrist more times than I can count. To me, this is gentle, effortless, and naturally graceful.

This is really lovely. I haven’t smelled a single fragrance from Jennifer Aniston that I didn’t like. This one is musky, floral, Amber, warm, fresh, clean, pretty. I don’t understand the “solar” note either, or why I people voted it as the most intensive note in this perfume.

This is really beautifully made and put together. I get sweet and fresh aromas but nothing special I must say. Blended really beautifully, I get the lavender and gardenia alongside woody notes but does not stand out as anything ground breaking.

Almost identical to Burberry "Sport" for women in the white and red bottle. Almost identical. This one just has a lot of musk thrown in. This is a very pretty scent. I personally like her first bunch of scents in the wave-like bottles better than this one and Chapter One. But I like all of them so far. Every single perfume she has made has been beautiful. This starts off pretty strong. Will project about 4 feet. And it lasts quite a long time. Between 6 and 7 hours and much longer on clothing. I personally think the color of the bottle is all wrong. This should NOT be in a brown colored bottle. The scent is the complete opposite of that. It's bright and sunny. Should've been in a yellow bottle. Some phases of this perfume remind me of sunflowers. Anyway, if you enjoy Burberry Sport or Gap "Sunshine," which is not in this database...you're likely to enjoy this one. It's beautifully done and after being firstly impossible to find to then being ridiculously expensive...now it's all of a sudden able to be found on Ebay for VERY affordable prices. I think I bought a 1.7 ounce bottle for like $23. If a clean, citrusy, musky, outdoorsy scent is your thing...you'll like this one. Again, it's basically Burberry Sport in the white bottle with a good amount of musk thrown in. The floral notes definitely make themselves known in this composition as well and that solar note is shining bright here. Projection - Strong at first. 3-5 feet depending on amount of sprays. Longevity - About 6 hours on the skin and about a day and a half on clothes. Overall Score - 8/10 Thumbs up to Jen not only on this one but her whole line. They're all classy and clean smelling.

This is very pretty. It smells like dark musky grapes, and is fairly linear. Sort of a heavy one, with decent projection of 2 or 3 feet. I loved it on first sniff, but got tired of it quickly. Even so, it's nice for the price. A similar but much better scent is My Dynastie Princess from Marina de Bourbon.

Complete opposite opinion of stephaniesmellsgood, LOL! I really dislike chapter one and actually like chapter two. It's a deeper, calming scent. perfect for fall! they're so cheap, you can try them both out without breaking the bank.

I was surprised by how much I really liked this. Very bright, fresh and catchy. For a good price it would be worth getting. Very generic, inoffensive, good "office" fragrance I think. 6.5/10

Okay, now that I'm smelling it more and more... does this remind anyone of a men's cologne from the early 2000's? I swear it smells like this guy I went on a weird date with. HAHAHAH!

I’m trying to understand the naming of these JA scents- Chapter One and Chapter Two. It really shouldn’t matter what the name is, if it’s a nice scent- then it’s a nice scent lol. But it’s puzzling because it seems to me she/they were going with a sort of theme here. My guess is that Chapter One was supposed to be a lovely day spent at the beach with friends, family or a lover and Chapter Two seems that it was supposed to have been after you have gone home from beach and are having a comfortable but sophisticated, fun evening with those same friends, family or lover. It’s almost like it was supposed to be more sensual, especially for the color pick of the bottle. But the two scents are completely opposite to me! Chapter One definitely gives off beach vibes, but like the end of the day at the beach, how your skin smells after being sun and salt kissed all day, and you picture yourself strolling along the beach as the sun sets. Chapter Two is sunny, clean, and bright. I don’t quite understand the “solar notes” but you do get a sense of the warm sun with this somehow. I think because of the amber in the notes (which really doesn’t come out until the far dry down to me), they were trying for a more sophisticated evening smell after your beach day. But instead it just comes off as a very bright, light inoffensive daytime scent. Not really very beach either, which is JA’s whole vibe with all of her other scents. All this being said, I quite like Chapter Two. Very easy reach for when you can’t decide on the SOTD. The gardenia, jasmine , “solar notes” and musk are very present throughout the duration of the scent. The gardenia is particularly heavy, so you have to like gardenias with this one. The amber comes in much later. Longevity is not great, about 2 hours on skin, but much longer on clothing, about 6 hours. I only wear this on clothing now as I unfortunately think that iso E super comes out in the dry down on my skin and I really dislike that synthetic note. But it doesn’t do that on my clothing. ETA: I’m wearing this today as I write this. I’ve been trying to put my finger on what this reminds me of (this is not a very original scent after all). It came to me that this is a more modern ancestor of Evyan’s White Shoulders because of the heavy gardenia. White Shoulder’s was my grandmother’s scent, and I truly loved it because of that but could not wear it also because of that. This is a more modern twist for me to enjoy.

Great sale on this today at Kohl's, like 40% off. I went over to smell it, and it was not even out on the floor yet. The kind saleswoman brought one out for me. Nice, I'd wear it if I got it for free, smelled a little peachy at first, but it has that note that a lot of inoffensive Avon fragrances do. Don't know what it is, a sharper floral I don't mind but don't seek out. This scent is fresh and happy but nowhere as distinctive as Chapter One, which I love due to its similarity to a $$$ Tom Ford scent. I don't know if I would classify it as a floriental. I hoped to smell more of the solar and coconut notes. I will spray it liberally the next time I am in Kohl's and will give it another go. I hope there is a body spray to go with it eventually; did not see one today.

This is a very nice citrusy scent. Very fresh. Definitely not was I was expecting based on the color of the bottle. Very pretty. Reminds me a lot of Kkw body’a dry down. This scent is very warm and comforting. I don’t smell any of the lavender or coconut, but I definitely smell the solar (sun like warm notes) and the golden amber rays. The original Jennifer Anniston will always be my favorite though, but this one is a great frag that I will definitely repurchase once I run out

I picked up a small size of this a couple of months ago on clearance at Kohl's. It was ok... I tried it during the day, and didn't let long on me.... maybe 2 hours tops. I ended up finishing it up as a "going to sleep" fragrance. Not going to repurchase.

Definitely a airy gardenia jasmine , every once ina awhile I smell a creamy orris coconut milk. Good for bed time or spring or summer

It smells like a lotioned skin of a classy woman who spends the days outside, in the sun. Clean, warm, natural, sexy.
